Cheaper than CVS across the street and they carry decent hair products like Redkin, Its a 10, Macadamia, Chi and Shea Moisture.

Not sure about the rest of the store, but for price and selection, the ice cream counter can’t be beat. I really enjoy the sugar cone with a scoop of malted chocolate or the cherry. THIS IS MY GO-​TO PLACE FOR ICE CREAM!

Beside that, this store has pretty good seasonal clearance section. I was able to get some decent decoration items for my house during my last visit.

You can never go wrong with rite aid. Thrifty ice cream can not be beat, my kids always want to go to cold stone and I tell then that place is wiggidy wack and the we care getting the king of ice cream at rite aid.
This is the only place that carries my hair products as you can imagine there is no places that black people can get their hair products or get their hair done in Ramona that i can find anyway. If anyone knows of any give me a shout because constantly going down the hill is pretty annoying.

Such an awesome store! Staff are friendly, and always super helpful. I always come here instead of CVS.
Have picked up multiple prescriptions here without any error, and their selection is better then the kmart in town!

The Ramona Rite-​Aid recently gave my 86 year old mother birth control pills instead of her memory medication. I called their corporate office and complained and their response was, «It wasn’t the usual pharmacist that was working that day.» Great excuse. I am fortunate that I checked the medication before giving it to her. The package said on it, that this is your regular medication, it has been packaged differently. Yes, it had. If you use this pharmacy, be sure to check your medications. There are only a few pharmacies in Ramona, so your options are limited.

La Mesa, CA
I am so livid. I found that this Rite Aid was the only one in San Diego County to carry this cancer drug for my dog. I have filled the prescription twice. I called for a refill early last Tuesday. The plan was to drive to Ramona on Sunday to pick it up. I called before I left La Mesa and the pharmacy clerk was clueless. They were out of the medicine. She could not tell me why no one in their pharmacy had the presence of mind to call me to tell me they were out of the meds. They did not automatically reorder the medicine either. So I am now at their mercy to wait for the order to come in. Maybe it will, maybe it won’t. I am appalled at their lack of professionalism. This is not cough syrup I need — it’s CANCER medicine!!! And the clerk did not even apologize for their screw up. If I did not need this medicine so badly I would never plan to return.
