My husband, myself and our 8 month old son recently went here for an early dinner on a Saturday. We ordered a large pie half with sausage and other half with fresh mozzarella and tomato. I would say the pizza was decent. I have certainly had much better. Prices were a bit high in my opinion. The service was good and pizza came out quick. The restaurant is on the smaller side and it gets packed quick so i would for sure get there early. I don’t feel the need to rush back there any time soon to have their pizza.

This is the first time I walked out of a restaurant. I’ve never been here before but always heard about it, so we decided to check out Anthony’s. Waiter said something to us about smoking weed because we were around the same age, so I guess he could say stuff like that? Look, I’m a progressive guy, but maybe you shouldn’t be saying stuff like that to someone you don’t know? We left because we sat outside(it was a beautiful day) for 30 minutes in the sun without our waiter coming to take our order or even offer us drinks… or water at the very least. The best part? Inside the restaurant was empty; it was 3:30 and there were like 5 tables with people at them, 2 guys at the bar outdoors, and me and my wife. A shame too; we tip well even if the food or service is bad… but we didn’t even get service at all. Maybe that dude should lay off the pot… he’d be a little more attentive.

We ordered the wings and a large pizza(half meatball/ricotta, the other pepperoni). My husband loved the wings, but personally, I like my wings with some sort of sauce. The only sauce they can offer on the side is marinara or salad dressing. The pizza was very fresh and tasty!

Stopped for a quick dinner on a rainy day in NJ(We can use it in Southern CA). Ordered a special pizza pie, half regular half mushrooms, thin crust is OK, came out with a crust little burned, regular salad with Italian dressing on the side(usual mode of operation in Italian place). We did not try a selection of the craft beers(after living in a beer heaven — AKA San Diego County and tasting some of the greatest Hoppy Ales) we stayed with water. Still one thing I’m personally missing in San Diego area — it’s a pizza(it’s all in the water as they say).

Way over priced(prices aren’t on the menu) and the food tasted like it was burnt in a backyard bonfire.

Delicious, crunchy thin-crust pizza, just how I like it. The cauliflower pizza is EVERYTHING! I always have the anthony’s salad with it. The portions are really generous. Their small size pizza and a large salad is enough to fill up 3 people. Friendly service, I like how they ask you if it’s your first time there so they can tell you a little bit about the place and their menu. They always have a nice variety of beers and cocktails too. I unfortunately have to deduct one star for the following reasons: children screaming and running around everywhere. Literally the 4 times Ive been here there are unsupervised screaming children. Also, I tried to order a shot of something here and the bartender told me that they didnt have shotglasses… a bar without shotglasses? so strange. She was cool about it though and just gave us the shots in rocks glasses.

Red sangria, salad and wings !!’ A bit busy and loud. Good place for pizza and beer. They have a ton of draft beers! But the sangria was sooo good! I also like the cauliflower pizza with caramelized onions !

Best wings I’ve ever eaten without sauce. Oven-baked and smothered in amazingly sweet caramelized onions. The roasted cauliflower pizza sounded interesting… so I went for it. Awesome!

My true rating is 3.5 but I rounded up because overall I do enjoy coming here for lunch occasionally. Stuff that I noticed & liked: –service today was very good –its a cute place, they have a lot of awesome décor –during warmer weather the doors open up and there’s a lot of outside seating available –their pizza is pretty good(if you like it well done) –the house salad is surprisingly plentiful with a lot of ingredients thrown into the mix: celery, chick peas, tomatoes, onions, olives… that’s a well balanced salad. Stuff that could use some attention: –the menu overall needs to be expanded. For a place that really only offers pizzas, I think their options are weak. Get some buffalo pizza on there and more creative combinations. The pizza is good but the menu can get tiring fast. –the meatballs: this is definitely a personal preference but I like my meatballs to be sliced when used as a topping on my pizza. I don’t like tiny meatballs just plopped on top. They are literally little round balls that have not been sliced at all. Its weird and for that reason I do not order meatballs on my pizza here, which is disappointing because they may be one of my favorite pizza toppings. –they don’t offer caesar salad either… that’s a go to order for many people, come on Anthony’s, add that ish on there.

This place has never disappointed me. The pizza is delicious! I’ve tried almost all of them, but my favorite is the Paul & Young Ron pie. My other two favorite dishes are the meatballs, and wings! Meatballs come with ricotta and a delicious warm focaccia bread. The wings are just perfection. Loaded with caramelized onions & the focaccia bread. It’s a must! The service varies, but has been good most of the time. I definitely recommend it!

Came here for the first time ever with my boss and coworkers before the holidays for a team lunch, and honestly, I came in with pretty low expectations, which sometimes isn’t such a bad thing, because I was very pleasantly surprised. All the meat eaters in the group(so everyone besides me, as per usual) had the wings, which they RAVED about — apparently they’re baked and not greasy and fried(no joke, one of my coworkers had about 8, so they must be delish!). Super convenient location, right off of 17 before the Lexus dealership(it comes up fast, so could be easy to miss). The five of us split a plain pie as well as the mozzarella, tomato, basil pie(my favorite out of the two), and they were both delicious. We each had at least two slices, and then there was a lot of splitting slices that was happening. It was thin and crunchy style pizza, which isn’t everyone’s favorite, but I hate really doughy pizza, so this was ideal for me. Service was excellent for lunch — we were in and out quickly without feeling rushed(though we went at 1:30 — apparently if you show up for lunch at 12, the place is PACKED). Will definitely be back, especially since I was told they have a kick ass happy hour(and Wednesday is meatball and martini night, so I’ll drink martinis while the rest of my coworkers eat their meatballs. life is tough).
