Coborn’s Superstore

I still really like Coborn’s!
My wife and I shop for groceries at Coborn’s nearly exclusively, at least twice a week. Sometimes we stop three times a week.
In reference to the review of 12÷28÷14, implying that the staff may be RACIST…
My wife is Latin, from South America. She looks South American. She dresses in a flamboyant Latina manner. And she is also OBVIOUSLY not from this culture based on her thick accent. In two years of shopping she has never experienced any racism or prejudice of any kind at Coborn’s. The customer service has always been fantastic (with both of us). In fact, several employees now know her well and greet her warmly when they see her. FYI, any prejudice she experiences is always met with a severe Latin tongue lashing! But this has NEVER been necessary at Coborn’s.
As a side note, we just discovered that you can order from a menu in the deli area. Duh, I can’t believe we never noticed this before?! The food is decent and the prices are very economical. Now that we realize they prepare full meals, we’ve had several breakfasts there!

Went to the Coborns in Ramsey, MN and noticed ALL of the workers greeted the white customers and asked if they needed assistance. We are an Asian family and no one acknowledged us. They also ignored a black customer too. We will never go there again.

I love Coborn’s in Ramsey. They have a great selection of natural health products and a fabulous salad bar. Everyone that works there is very friendly and the store is always clean.

Interesting store. They have a seperate store, just for liqour, a convenience store for the traveller, and a whole grocery store…
Personnel was very pleasant and fast. Good selection of items.
