Used to use Vickers for cutting, they withdrew from the Sacto area, Vickers recommended i call Kent the owner of CA Cut and Core (916) 247‑9872. I called him to schedule an estimate, all he did was whine about how he didn’t really like to do do residential jobs, home owners are jerks, blah, blah, blah,!
Then he Flip-​Flopped and agreed to come out the next morning. (lucky me), and said he would call me the next morning to confirm a time. Did he call, hell no! So I wasted my time waiting for him at a job site. Totally blew me off.
Crappy, unprofessional way to do business. If you don’t want the business just be man enough to say so.
There are plenty of other concrete cutting firms in Sacramento besides this guy. After reading the previous review I’m so glad I didn’t hire this clown.

Home owners be ware. Called California cut and core out to do an x ray on my concrete slab to locate the tensions inside the slab and have knowledge of the depth. Was told that the depth of the tensions were 6 inches deep. Paid 500.00 for 15 min of work then they were on their way… no report no paper work nothing… fast forward 6 months we were ready to start our project and out contractor requested the documentation of the concrete x ray report… so we called California cut and core back and was given the run around due to the fact that they did not document anything about our project and that normally the tendons were 3 inches deep in a residential project. (complete miss information as to what was told us originally) was advised that they may need to come back out to rescan it in order to provide me with the documentation. … a few days later get a call stating that they will be unable to provide me any documentation that there insurance will not allow them to. Asked for a refund of the money paid since the information they provided to us is useless… still waiting (over 2 weeks) for a response to our request.
