Flooring Liquidators

We were looking to get rid of the old carpet throughout the house that we recently bought. At our other house, we purchased laminate through Lumber Liquidators, so we first went there. This time we couldn’t find the color/​style that we wanted. So we searched every flooring store in the area and hadn’t found anything that we liked within our price range until I finally happened to see an orange truck going down Hwy 50. I had never heard of Flooring Liquidators, but I figured we’d better give it a shot.
The first night we dropped in was right before they were supposed to close. Complete with two screaming, maniacal kids we stopped in to see what they had. First thing that we noticed was that they had a little area for kids to go a play!!! After that, we found a laminate that matched what we were looking for. Took a sample to see how it looked at home.
The next day we came back to look again and realized that the sale was going to end the next day, but we weren’t ready to install for a few weeks. They let us put down a deposit and held the product and the price for us.
In my experience, dealing with a weird situation never leads to things going well. But this went really smooth. We never had any issues with the deposit, the price, the pick up or anything. All of the employees were on the same page and very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a few questions about installing and they knew exactly what to do.
I installed the laminate myself, so I cannot comment on their installation process, but we had a fantastic experience at this store. They were helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. The product is as good or better than similarly priced products that we saw at all of the other flooring stores. I have, and will continue to recommend Flooring Liquidators to anybody that tells me they are thinking about doing their floors. When it come time to replace our tile, I know the first place that we will look.

We visited several warehouses, stores etc and found that these had the largest selection of laminate flooring for our budget. The bigger hardware stores had similar quality (good) at a much higher price so we stuck with FL. The entire experience felt hassle free. While other stores ask you to leave a name and number if you want samples (others even charged) these folks did not– you can simply take what you need. They were friendly, explained their policy and process and that was that. If you order from the Sacramento area and flooring etc (t molds, reducers, padding) is not in stock, it will arrive the very next day! We were on a time crunch so we really appreciated the speedy turnaround time. Another store we visited basically said FL sold reject/​overstocked flooring so we should be weary of the quality. We didn’t find any issue with the quality at all. My dad installed the floor and he said he had no issues. Finally, the return of overage material went very smoothly as well! Their policy is 20% restocking fee for returns, and 15% for return of overages (boxes must be unopened and in resealable condition). We understood that prior to purchasing and had no problem when returning our overage. Now our floor looks great, it’s the color we wanted, and we didn’t have to pay the higher unaffordable price! FL also has tile and carpet. If we ever need more supplies we will not hesitate to come back :)

Shopped several places for flooring, Mike gave us a great deal and their recommended installers did a fantastic job. Prices for both flooring and labor were the best we came across. Customer service was outstanding and they took care of any concerns we had immediately. Definitely recommend giving these guys a try.
