We had a party of six, we were given one menu to share and it took forever to place our orders let alone get served. I had the Chili Verde and it was very bland. My friends ordered a variety of things and no one raved about their meal either. The killer for me was the temperature inside the building. It was hot to the point we were sweating. I will not go back.

Visited on a Saturday night at 6 pm and had the place to ourselves. Authentic Mexican food with homemade tortillas! Had a San Miguel ’ s burrito & my husband had tacos. Food and price were excellent. We will be back!

What a great little place! Super delicious and very well priced! I’m so glad I decided to stop in here. The server was so nice. And the food is amazing.

Its bitter sweet because I really liked the ambiance, our server, and vibes but the meat was below average. My best advice would be to get vegetarian. I wish we had gotten the cheese enchiladas and Chille burrito which features cheese. On the up and up we really loved the home made chips and variety of great quality sauces. In their store connected to the restaurant buy stuff like Pinatas, ketchup, sugar, TP, toys, and candy. Happy dining!

The moment I pulled up I was extremely hesitant to even go inside but as soon as I walked in the owners daughter greeted me and my husband and talked to us the whole time we waited for our food, which opened me up to the atmosphere. While talking to his daughter, the owner came out to speak with us and told us about the sauces and their food and offered a discount on tacos every time we decided to come. After we left and arrived home to eat, right away I knew their food was going to be BOMB We had the super nacho fries w/steak meat, a super burrito and a grande burrito for my husband. By the way the super and grande burritos are both huge and there is barely a difference in size, so go with a super. The prices are amazing, very cheap for the great quality in their food. I would return their every and anytime I decide to eat any type of fast food.

The wait for service takes a while but they don’t hover over you, the food is amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s my favorite place for real Mexican food.

First people in the spot on a saturday morning. we were hungry. I had the menudo, it was very tasty, clean. Had hominy. I got corn tortillas on the side, home made and they were delicious. My fiancé has a beef burrito. Very big and lots of beef. We are going back tomorrow, Sunday morning to try the pazole and tacos with those corn tortillas!

Very happy with the food. Authentic home cooked food. This is definitely a hidden treasure. I ordered the steak fajita burrito and it was packed with meat and veggies and so flavorful! My husband ordered the menudo and he loved it, said it was very clean and full of all the right favors. We will definitely be back!

Was looking at Unilocal for a Mexican restaurant, decided to check this restaurant out. And I would have to say I was not disappointed. Food was delicious! They have homemade tortillas and their salsas are delicious! I can’t wait to be back and try their menudo and other items on their menu. We tried their sope, burrito de papas con chorizo, and carne ranchera. All of it was delicious!

IT’S LONGGGGGGBUTTT The Experience: I walked in and it’s like super calm and empty. It is a Mexican food resturaunt.. From the music to the mural to the display of cervesas on the little bar. The chips are nice and hot and I had to taste the Pico and it was bomb. Kinda bummed they ran out of rice but I could SEE my order being cooked fresh. That’s always a great thing. The staff was super nice, even though we came in like 15 minutes before closing. maybe that’s why no rice? :). The Salsa bar is unlike what you see at El Pollo loco or Chipotle, it’s real Mexican salsa. very full of flavor and the spicy one are SPIIIICCEEEYYY. and I love that. great for kids too cuz they have hamburgers and fries and our waiter made sure to let us know that the beef was FRESH .NOT.FROZEN :) THEFOOD: with no rice it still was bomb definitely a gem will hit this place up earlier to get the full experience. and yes rice will make it a full experience. I ordered a regular and super burrito.. They didn’t quite the super right but they fixed it with Nooo Problem and a SMILE. U GOTTALOVEGOODCUSTOMERSERVICE!

Glad I saw it on Unilocal and gave it a try. Service was great. Yay for having chorizo street tacos, although it would have been better with two tortillas as it fell apart a bit due to moisture from meat plus steam on plate. Chile Relleno was good. obviously made fresh. And yum on the watermelon juice drink! There were only two other customers so I hope this little hole in the wall business survives!

I decided to try this place after driving past it every day on Folsom Blvd. It is a pretty empty place, mom and pop food(pretty tasty), but the pictures look nothing like it! When I came in it was totally dark, empty, and chairs were up in the back section. I was not sure if they were taking off for lunch or what… . The woman who came out to take my order was SUPER sweet, kind, and happy to have a customer by the look on her face when I walked in! I ordered 2 chicken street tacos, beans and rice, and a large horchata. The total came out to $ 8.14 I think(really great price!) The chicken in the tacos was delicious! The corn tortillas were fresh and soft, and the beans and rice were home made as well. The beans and rice were good, but not the best I have ever had. And their horchata was yummy! Just be careful, if you order horchata to go it might come in a to go container instead of a cup! Just poke a hole in the plastic and use the straw, it works well… =] I will be back to try all the other yummy items on their menu! — 1 star because the pico in the salsa bar was going bad… The tomato was clear and tasted like fermented onion.

Small hole in the wall family Mexican taqueria. The burrito was huge in a homemade flour tortilla. Fresh homemade chips and salsa. The beans and rice are nicely seasoned with great flavor. Extremely in — expensive for quality and size especially. I will be back.

Okay seriously? The food here is SOGOOD! The food is authentic — they make their own tortillas and all the food is fresh to order. The house red salsa is so yummy! And the prices are unbeatable. A chicken taco for $ 1.25? Yes please and may I have another! Two tacos is enough to fill me up, three tacos is enough for my beefy bf. Call your order in ahead to avoid a 10 – 15 min wait while they make your food. Do yourself a favor next time you’re craving authentic Mexican. This place is the bomb.

The restaurant opened three days ago. I didn’t find this restaurant on Unilocal.I had noticed it when I was driving on Folsom Blvd on my way to work, and I thought I’d check it out today. I’m glad I stopped in on my lunch break because it’s a great little find. It was a 3-star experience overall. The employees are nice and friendly, and they are also quick to serve. You must come and enjoy the feast offered on their menu because you get your money’s worth. They also have a Chips and Salsa Bar that you can enjoy at no cost if you dine in and if your food purchase is $ 4.50 or more. So far, I’ve had the following… *Taco de Pescado: It was absolutely delicious and worthy of a 5-star rating. *Chile Relleno: It was good, but I’ve had better and worthy of a 3-star rating. *Cheese Enchilada: Average and about 3 stars. *San Miguel’s Breakfast Burrito: This was just okay and about 2 stars. Needs more of the other burrito fillers and less beans. Revisit? Sure! I found a new place to go to for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
