Ok, so I admit I am already a fan since I am a transplant from South Dakota to the central valley of California. After we moved here a month ago, one of my first Google searches was for Scooters! I found only one(what?!!), but it was worth every minute of the 65 minute drive! I ordered the Mocha Espresso Blender and as always, was pleased by the smooth and rich flavor. One of my favorite things about Scooter’s coffee is that it is NEVER bitter.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Rancho Cordova, CA
How interesting. Scooter’s is a chain of coffee places that is expanding nationally and according to their press release the good olé Rancho Cordova/Gold River location on Sunrise Blvd is their very first in California. Good luck to the Scooters team! they picked a very good location for a drive through coffee place. Pros: This is a drive through located in an easy off/on location southbound on Sunrise in the Old Kmart shopping center one block north of Hwy 50. It makes for very convenient purchasing. Much more so than the odd location that other place opened a little while ago just down the street. This is a big pro… the beans in the blends used(we tried both leaded and unleaded) were not burnt like some other national brands that will remain unmentioned. They don’t try and convince you that you don’t know anything about coffee if you happen not to like burnt beans. So this coffee is quite drinkable. Cons: The coffee is a blend I just don’t happen to like. It’s either Guatemalan or Ethiopian and frankly I don’t enjoy either of those beans. On the flip side I know lots of people do enjoy these varieties and will really take to this coffee. Did I mention they didn’t burn the beans? Both cups of our coffee, the caf and decar, were not hot. They were really warm but not hot like you’d make at home. Of course this means that the coffee is not scalding either which I detest as well. They have a number of breakfast items which we didn’t try but you should know they are available. I probably won’t be back(see above) but this doesn’t mean you won’t like them. Give them a shot!
