The Amore

I love this place! It’s a long drive from where I live, but worth it. The owner is extremely sweet, answers all my questions, gives a lot of samples, and I am able to practice speaking Korean to her. (Fyi — I am not Korean)
Iope is a great line! I have extremely sensitive skin and I noticed that when I use higher end brands (Lancome, Estee, Perricone, etc.) my face breaks out into rashes. When I started to use Amore Pacific brands (now Aritaum), my skin looks amazing. I get compliments how I look nothing close to my actual age. I am a firm believer in Korean products and I don’t believe in using anything else. I have even converted tons of friends (male and female) to use Korean brands.

If you have a Korean friend, you’d know that, Korean girls knows about skincare. They all have flawless skin. I was over joyed to discover this store. I use to frequent one in the bay and thought I was out of luck since moving up this way.
Upon driving up, it felt a little intimidating walking in. Fear not, Benny is the sweetest! I think she’s the owner. She’s very knowledgeable with her line and different skin types. She recommended a new compact bb with moisturizer and SPF that felt like cool jell when on. I can’t wait try it. I also bought a peeling mask that I’ve bought in Korea. Glad I don’t have to fly over just to pick one up anymore.
Benny stocked me up with tons of samples. I’m just giddy with this new discovery. I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship.

Love this store! As stated in previous reviews, they only carry a few skincare lines but honestly I’m fine with that because the few that they carry are all lines I’ve been interested in and it’s nice knowing I don’t need to drive out if town or order online for Sulwhasoo, Laniege, and Iope products. From the outside looking in the store looks very small but it’s actually very spacious on the inside. I like the way everything is set up. Also, the woman (maybe store owner?) that was working there was very sweet and you can tell she is very knowledgable about skin & the products that she sells. And not to mention she seems to genuinely want to help and not just sell her top dollar products! I mentioned to her that I wanted to try the Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream (retailed at $ 220.00) and she kindly informed me that’s not the cream for me. It’s for women in their 40s. I have to say her honestly was definitely appreciated and won stars with me! Also, upon purchase I asked her if I could have a few samples from Sulwhasoo’s «Essential» line and she graciously gave me those samples as well as whole bunch of other samples as well AND full size tube of hair essence for free! I’ll definitely be back as soon as possible! Oh and I almost forgot to include how due to a little bit of a language barrier she took the time to number each sample and try her best explain the product to me so I know which order to use them and why! So sweet!

Came back here and still happy with the service I get here. The lady is very generous with samples of different facial products.

I was basically ecstatic when I found out Sacramento had a store selling legit korean cosmetics. I get all of my skincare products from this store, I feel like their products are better than Shiseido and a little bit more affordable as well.

I just love love love coming into this store, I feel like a child that entered a candy shop with unlimited candies.
Benny is a super sweet owner, even though her English is limited I understand what she’s trying to tell me. She explains, which product should be used first and recommends great products for me. I’ve tried all 4 lines and other products she carries as well.
Sulwhasoo, has a ginseng peeling mask that makes your skin feels as soft as a baby after a couple of usage.
Laneige Sleeping Pack makes my skin revitalize over night.
Water Bank set, makes my skin feel refresh, I like to use their Essence that is used after lotion everyday. It helps me set my makeup better and make my skin glisten.

My jaw dropped when I saw this store after getting groceries at KP International Market. I’m no stranger to korean skincare/​makeup and was so surprised to find an Amore Pacific brand store in Sacramento! There are plenty of these stores in the bay area but I have never seen one in Sac, of course I had to stop in for a look! The owner is a super sweet Korean lady with the most adorable, well-​behaved Jindo guarding her store (korean dog: D). They carry darkness lashes & Amore Pacific brands like Laneige, Iope, Sulwhasoo etc. I was initially hoping to try out some new BB creams but found the BB creams (I guess the entire store selection also) to be a little lacking, but it is a small store so it’s understandable. I did end up buying one of the Aritaum Baby Face Mists (Hydra Radiance formula) as I have been looking for a new makeup setting spray for the summer. She totally hooked it up with the samples and had tons of product recommendations despite the language barrier we had. She actually recommended an IOPE BB cream (the air cushion sunblock EX) to me and stated that it’s South Korea’s best-​selling one right now, as I am writing this review I am kicking myself for not buying it! I typically don’t buy products without reading reviews on them first, but I’ll be back ASAP for it because I looked up reviews for it when I got home and she was RIGHT (apparently 1 of these BB creams is sold every 30 seconds).

This place specializes in skincare products. I came in here looking for BB cream. They did have two but I was looking for one that was darker. I ended up getting a peeling gel from IOPE under the recommendation of the sales lady because I said I didn’t like the new formula of the Laneige peeling gel and wanted something that was like their old formula. I’ve had the opportunity to use it and am happy with my purchase.
They carry Laneige and I’m assuming other Amore Pacific brands; I’m not really too familiar with Korean skin care brands. Prices are the same as you’d get anywhere else, MSRP. The woman was very generous with giving me samples too!
I wish there was somewhere I can buy Skin79, Étude House, and Lioele ;\

My friend told me about this place that sold Laneige products. So, instead of having to go all the way to Korean town in Oakland, I decided to stop by here to see for myself how the store was like.
It’s a very small store next to the Koreana Plaza. They do hold and sell Laneige products for a very reasonable price — much cheaper than what you would find on Ebay or even
! I docked off a star, however, because I came here looking for the Hydra Solution Essence, and they didn’t have it — heck, they didn’t have the ENTIRE Hydra Solution line! The lady was very nice and very eager to help, though her English is very limited and very broken. She also gave me A LOT of samples! =)
Other than Laneige, they also have other products from Amore Pacific — Sulwhasoo, IOPE, etc. They also have alot of BROCHURES! Love, love, love! It offers a description as to what the products are, how they are used, and even interviews from other users. They’re very much like magazines, and free to take =) Anyway, I do see myself coming back here. Hopefully next time they’ll update their stock!
