I called apple to schedule an appointment for a cracked screen. The next day my phone wasn’t just cracked, it wasn’t working at all. I went as a «walk-in» appointment. I was promptly put on the schedule to return in an hour for help. I shopped around Victoria Gardens & came back about 20 minutes earlier than my appointment time. I expected to wait 20 minutes, but I was helped right away. The«genius» that assisted me was helpful & quickly resolved my problem. I can’t say I excepted it to be SOEASY. I have never had such a flawless experience. HIGHPRAISETOAPPLE! Good job!

This is the only Apple store I’ve been to where multiple Apple employees have lied to me numerous times. Here are just a couple of example right off the top of my head: Older iPhones«are almost exactly identical» to newer iPhones.(My reaction to this one is, «Oh, yeah?! If that is true then why bother to upgrade to a newer more expensive iPhone?!) This statement was told to me by 2 different males wearing Apple T-shirts at this location. Multiple other employees at this store claimed that cross-platform software like CrossOver didn’t exist. Hmm! Although in many respects my 4 year old MacBook Air and various other older Apple devices in our household work just fine, it really bothers me that they are perhaps the most Zero Waste UNFRIENDLY in that I can’t buy a battery to replace the almost non-rechargeable battery in our iPhone 3G. It is like Apple deliberately made their overpriced products so that their customers have no choice but to upgrade to a more expensive device when most Apple customers don’t even use everything that’s on their older device to begin with! I know I certainly don’t! I gave the iPhone 3G back to my dad because he wanted to use it and also because the last time I used it for myself it died on me at only 37% battery life. After I first got this as a 3rd hand gift from my dad I could still use it at only 1% battery life. Oh, well! Live and learn, right?! Now I’m using a slightly newer iPhone 3GS. I’m still not using everything on my phone. If you are cost conscious like I am then you will want to buy a 2nd hand UNLOCKED older iPhone from places like eBay from a reputable seller and make sure it’s compatible with your cell phone service.

I will say this, i am not in favor of Apple products. However, the service just now at the Apple Store, couldn’t have been better. My brother’s iPhone 5S started acting up. It had a blue screen. I contacted the Apple tech support, and they told me i can go to an Apple Store to restore the device since i don not have access to iTunes. I went to the Apple Store around 6:30p.I then went to a Apple employee by the name of Dijon. He mentioned that i needed an appointment, and they were all booked. I mentioned to him my brother needs his phone for school. He went to speak to a gentleman and said i could be squeezed in. Dijon, explain the possibilities of outcome and attempted to restore the device. He mentioned my options if the device was not restorable. We waited and eventually he got it restored and updated to the latest version of iOS. He assisted my brother with setting up the iPhone. And just like that, we were done and my brother had a working device. That was awesome how we were able to walk in, and Dijon was willing to assist. First time ever stepping into an Apple store for service, and it was an awesome experience. Thanks Dijon for your exceptional effort.
