Unilocalers beware, this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a plumbing company. Not only did they not fix my problem, they actually broke my item and had me pay for it. I called Excel and Mike Allen came out to the property to fix a toilet clog. He snaked the toilet and then he BROKE my toilet. Mike then claimed that it was the plumbing of the toilet that was done wrong and there was no way for him to have known it. Is he not suppose to be the professional here? My choices after Mike broke the toilet was: 1) have him replace the toilet or 2) have a broken/leaking toilet. I had no choice but to have him replace the toilet because I did not want to have my water shut off and find another plumber. I had to purchase another toilet WHICH I HADTOPAYOUT-OF-MY-POCKET. Mike Allen then claimed that he was doing me a favor because he was not charging me for his labor. He installed the toilet and told me that he was going to go back to his manager to discuss whether he can give me a reduced rate for his labor. He never gets back to me and six months later, Excel sends me a bill and claimed that the bill is past due. I asked Excel what happened to a reduced rate. Excel flat out denied that they ever agreed to a discussion of reduced rates. When I asked Mike again about the reduced rates, Mike fired back stating that his business is built on trust and integrity and that he never agreed to any type of reduced rates and that I should just pay without questioning him. After being cross-examined by Mike for 20 minutes like I was some sort of convict, he started screaming at me and kept repeating«are you going to pay or not.» This is the worst customer service I have ever received and I do not wish this experience on my worst enemies. At the end of the day: Excel Plumbing coming to your property and breaking your toilet — materials cost $ 200 Excel Plumbing replacing YOUR toilet that they broke — «allegedly free» Excel Plumbing charging you for breaking a toilet, replacing a toilet and then for de-clogging services — $ 250(this is non-negotiable, even though Excel claims that they will reduce it, but if you ask, they will question you like you are a criminal) Just paying the $ 250 so you never have to deal with Excel Plumbing or Mike Allen ever again — PRICELESS.
