Haven Cleaning and Restoration

I’ve worked with Alex and his guys on many different occasions and not only do they offer me very fair prices for what they do but they get the job done correctly. Ive worked with a few different restoration companies over the years and it seems that a lot of times the jobs can last forever but these guys have always gotten things done in a timely manner. If your looking for a company to clean your property or you have a restoration job I definitely suggest you call Alex first.

So I wanted to get my girlfriend’s house professionally cleaned. She had recently found out that she was extremely allergic to house dust. She was out of town for a few days so I decided this would be the best time to have it done.
I went on Angie’s List and found a 4 hour special. I then got a call from a representative from the company to schedule the cleaning. I told the person that I really wanted a deep cleaning, paying particular attention to dusting the main areas my girlfriend spends most of her time in. We live in a 3 bedroom 2 story house. The representative said it wouldn’t be a problem and it could be done in 4 hours.
The day came and 2 ladies showed up. 1 of them right away got to work. The other seemed to think they may need a couple more hours which I expected to happen. She informed me that it would be 28 per hour and told her it would be a problem.
The lady that I was talking to me spent the rest of the time talking to the other lady complaining that she could not finish and she would have to leave. I heard her calling the company explaining to them she had to leave due to a prior commitment. After about wasting an hour of trying to arrange to have someone pick her up she got back to work.
She started vacuuming then I heard a loud noise then the vacuum stopped. She came down and told me had accidently ran over my iphone charger and that the vacuum had broken down, the charger was destroyed. I had to help her remove the charger from the vacuum. In the mean time I told her she could use our vacuum. Within an hour or so someone from her company came to relieve her and brought a new vacuum. She told me that the company would replace the charger.
The person that came started dusting and then all of a sudden I hear a crash. I went to see what happen and the person had broken a glass vase we had on our mantle. The person was extremely apologetic and said the company would replace it.
After he cleaned up the mess he started vacuuming using the vacuum he brought. After they left I noticed the parts of our carpet had stains from the vacuum.
I grabbed our vacuum to clean the stain but it didn’t work. I called the company and they told me that the lady tried to use it but it wouldn’t start. The lady never informed anything.
So after destroying an Iphone charger, breaking a glass vase and breaking a vacuum and staining our carpet I did a walk through after they left. I gave them specific instructions what to do and they didn’t do it. I spent about 4 more hours cleaning after them. The carpet stains were never addressed and I gave up trying to get them to do anything.
The man that broke the vase told me that he would buy a vase and a new charger. After receiving the items; the vase was part of a set. The vase he bought didn’t match what I specifically requested.
This company is a joke and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

The cleaning was prob one of the worst I’ve experienced…
booked them for 2 hours and requested to have the kitchen mess cleaned up, and the floor of both upstairs and downstairs. Such simple requests, and the cleaners took about 90min to put the dishes in the dishwasher and push the dust around w/​her mop not realizing she needed to use a vacuum, then after my strong recommendations, she used the vacuum, then the 2 hours is up, you have a half cleaned kitchen, and half of an one-​story floor mopped, you have got to be kidding me…
Cleaning is your profession as a cleaner and you did not know you need to use a vacuum? really? and with 2 people spending 2 hours cleaning, one person could not even finished mopping the floor 90 min later??? The home is not filthy but any means, it’s 2,000 sqf 2 story home and after 3 weeks in a bad flu, the kitchen is not very clean w/​dishes around. Yet you used the dishwasher, and still you can’t manage to clear the counter tops 90min later? And suddenly after those 90min, I showed my displease, then in 30min you and the other lady decided to speed up and clear the counter tops and mop 200sqf more?
Beyond disappointed… I had high hopes for those A star reviews up here and seriously? I asked for 2 things. #1. floor #2. Kitchen dishes & countertop. And you seriously telling me that with 2 people for 2 hours they can’t get the job done? That’s a lie. The truth is they weren’t competent and were taking their time. Martha probably cleaned non stop where as the other lady was using a mop swishing the dust from one side to the other, and used a broom to clear the sand box. I’m speechless…
It should take no more than 2hr to vacuum and mop the floor and no more than 2 hour to put the dishes away and wipe down the counter tops. She said «but it takes long cuz it’s dirty and we don’t know you want vacuuming». I was like @$#$#@?! You’re a cleaner and that’s your job, how come you don’t know to use a vacuum? and it’s not THAT dirty like we had a house party dirty. It’s just a 2 person’s household that left out dirty dishes for a couple of days. Anyways, I’m BEYOND disappointed. They stayed another 45min to make up for what an okay 2hr job should’ve been. But damn. unbelievable… Maybe they’re on their bad new year days, I don’t know. Having hired different cleaners over the years, this is definitely one on the bad side.

Tile Cleaning
Our Tile was damaged due to a water leak in our bathroom. The grout had calcified and created a white outline throughout our house.
The team came in quickly and cleaned our tile and grout with professional cleaners that did not smell to bad. They also polished my hard wood floors which contained adhesive from all the tape covering them from the construction.
Tile Cleaning is a big job and they tackled it quickly.

This company handled one of my water damages at 2 in the morning and brought peace to my grandparents through their hardwork. They came in and immediately I felt relieved that our home would be saved. They actually believe in making their work area not only look neat, but be sanitary. I appreciated the extra effort they did in taking care of all of the furniture they moved out of the way, and they even gave my granparents a good laught (which is hard since they laugh at nothing, not even my jokes). Then when the cleaning department came in they made stains I didnt even know existed disappear in a matter of hours. I reccommend this business to anybody who ever encounters what me and my family did. God bless them.

There is not one speck of dust any where and every floor area, kitchen appliance, counter top, bathroom, etc., are like new. This company was sent to me by an organization that helps women on chemotherapy, but I know God selected them for me. I was treated like a celebrity. I immediately felt comfortable with them in my home and actually left for a couple of hours to stay out of their way. It was as if they were caring for their own homes. My entire house is clean, disinfected and sanitized. The carpet looks like new and the tile (nearly 1000 sq. ft.) was done by hand. This company deserves the very best rating and should be treated like the engineers they are when they enter any property.

We bought our first house from a hoarder who left her house an absolute filthy mess. It was about as bad as it gets, from impossibly stained carpet and calcified showers all the way down to the filthy refrigerators which hadn’t been scrubbed in years. I called Haven Cleaning and Restoration for a price. Haven responded back several times with multiple further questions, a competitive quote, and would be able to be out within four days of my initial call.
On cleanup day, Alex and his crew arrived and spent a whole day working on our mess of a house. Upon finding out we had a new baby as well, they put in even more effort to try to get the house as spotless as it could be for my infant daughter. They spent the entire day working on house, but when daylight ran out, they volunteered to return in the morning to finish the job. They even cleaned both our disgusting fridges, which had not been in the original deal. The dedication to their craft was evident, and we would easily recommend them for any our your housing cleanup needs.
