I’ve eating here a dozen times and really enjoyed it. But I’ll never go back. My son is a picky eater so we brought some french fries along. They wouldn’t let us in the door.

I have mixed views about this place. The food was kinda hit and miss. If you are looking for a snack and not get overly stuffed like you do at an all you can eat place, this may be the place for you. Each plate is $ 2.25. That is an okay price but when things like watermelon slices or edamame pass by, I think sheesh they must be making a killing in profit. I really enjoyed the seared garlic tuna, the orange chicken was tender and full of flavor, and I also liked the crispy rice with real crab on top. Some of the other raw sushi cuts were also good and fresh. I did not like their scallop roll. The scallops were soggy and not fresh tasting. I didn’t care for their Philadelphia roll. The cream cheese was gooey, warm, and didn’t taste like cheese. So food wise this place is hit and miss. I’d come back for a lite lunch and pick a few items and hope for the best. Lol. The service was good. The wait staff were polite and attentive. The facility was neat and clean. Parking is super easy. There is a large parking lot.

Well ill start off by saying the server was great, although my first question is always«can I please get a side of Sriracha please» and they said they could offer some«Spicy Mayo» personally I enjoy My sushi with Sriracha. And the hand rolls had excess soy paper nearly double wrapping the rolls with a moderate portion of rice and fish inside. The quality of the fish was good but the presentation was fairly sloppy !

The first time we visited this place was last December we had fun because of the unique dining experience. The food is okay and our server was nice & friendly. I would’ve rated our dining experience with 4 stars. Fast forward a month later and we returned with rest of our family. Wow, what a difference from our first visit. First, they had trouble with our seating situation even though clearly there was a space for us. Second, the server wasn’t as friendly and seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. I rarely give bad reviews but our last experience here left a bad taste in my mouth. I can get past the bad service if their food was to die for but with that type of dining experience I don’t think we will ever go back to this location.

This place is a novelty but I love it for that. The sushi is honestly just average. It is all prepared fresh but the quality is nothing special. Why 4 stars you ask? Well it is a fun place to eat at. The moving conveyor keeps you interested and distracted as you wait for that one roll to come by that you missed. The price is very fair and the service was always good!

I come here often for lunch because it is fast and so close to my house. I always have great service from the servers. The sushi is decent but for only $ 2 a plate it is more than worth it.

The chefs were super nice to my grandmother, who has never seen a revolving food place before. The food was good, and inexpensive. I had a great time, enjoyed the place.

The best sushi conveyer belt restaurant I have ever been to! The ingredients are freshly made, and they are having a special that includes special snapper, bluefin tuna, yellow tail and wagyu beef. The wasabi is freshly ground, and the service is very attentive. At $ 2.50 a plate, it is easy to keep track of what you are ordering. I hope to find something similar in Northern California when I get back! One minor thing that purists may find annoying: as the sushi is automated, the rice does not stay compacted.

3.5 stars my stars for this place keeps fluctuating. I recently came back here again after 9months! I usually eat kula in brea or rancho, But last time I ate here the food disappointed me so much I didn’t wanna come back. but recently it hit the spot when I needed fast & cheap sushi. fish & rolls were fresh enough. & im forever ordering negitoro here!

Me and hubby tried this place 12÷28÷15 first time trying this kind of place… Loved how fresh the food was. Some very good choices, stuff we had never tried. Plus fresh fruit, it got busy but our server was very good. We will be returning there for sure.

Love the whole concept of the revolving sushi bar so gave it a chance, such a great idea! Only $ 2.25 per plate so basically all you can eat and each plate comes with 3 pieces. My boyfriend and so go here all the time with family or if we’re in the hurry because we can be done in less than a half an hour.

Okay waitresses are friendly, but quality of the food is horrible, it’s not really chefs fails it’s the owner of the place. While being there I saw ladies who prepare foods earwig Beverly on their hands, hello it’s a food card shit policy no jewelry while cooking! The plates that sushi is placed in is wet and covers,. Health department states that all plates must be dry when serving food! I suggest health department to come and check it out!

I actually really dig this place. Sometimes I wake up and have a craving for sushi rolls. The food is good and the plates are inexpensive. My mom is a huge fan of the cold green tea. However my friend had tried the orange chicken and was definitely not feeling it. I hadn’t tried it but can agree that it did not look appetizing… Also, the white sauce that they use for some of the rolls… like the baked scallop or volcano roll… kind of doesn’t taste very good. It sort of tastes… wrong… but everything else is good! I’m a huge fan of the soups and the Philadelphia Tempura Rolls ^_^

Hungry for some Sushi decided to bring my son here since he keeps hearing about this place. The Sushi, the pieces are small and sometimes a little dry from sitting in the line. Don’t try the popcorn shrimp cold and hard from sitting to long See what I mean. It is a fun and good concept getting your Sushi from the line and at $ 2.25 a plate not to bad for what you get. Watch and count your plates it can easily become expensive for small pieces of sushi. Would come again for a few plates and bring someone new. Service is very good and it does get full.

I’m not a huge fan of revolving sushi but at $ 2.25 a plate, you get what you pay for. My mom isn’t a big raw fish eater but my dad has a taste for it so to satisfy them both, we came to KULA. We had 14 plates total between 3 people and a small bottle of warm sake. The sushi was ok. I didn’t have a lot of the raw fish because I wasn’t sure how long it had been on the belt. That’s the thing about revolving sushi, you can’t really tell unless you order it directly from the server. We grabbed a few rolls, some nigiri, and even some sesame balls for dessert. Service was fine. Our server was attentive and kept checking in with us if we needed anything. She even gave us a $ 10 coupon to return, good for 30 days. My parents seemed to enjoy it. This KULA is located across the street from Ontario Mills.

Basing this off of the other Kula’s that I’ve been to Pros: Kula is my go to place for revolving sushi. I try to just stick with the one in Irvine and the one in Little T in LA because the quality and items differ quite a bit from place to place. Decent variety. decent quality, and there are some items that I’ve never seen before that I saw while eating here. Service is really good. Better than the other places. Not sure if it’s consistently this good though, but the waitress that was working at the time was so nice! I forgot what her name was, but she came over to our table to refill our waters and check up on us fairly often. It was like the right amount to where it wasn’t annoying, but it was right when we needed something. Wait time wasn’t too bad. Cons: Now this Kula isn’t terrible, but it’s far from the best. Quality is decent. The two other places are noticeably better. This one also has less of a variety on the belts. I know you can order from the menu, but that kind of ruins the fun of watching the items go by and picking them off the belt when you see something you like. Also the additional items that they added.(I guess it was to accommodate the demographics in the area) just weren’t that good. Some of them were too greasy while the others seemed like they just mashed two items together and hoped for the best. the usual items that I’ve seen in the other Kula’s were just fine, but these… I won’t be picking them up anytime soon. As with all Kula’s. you’re going to have to wait a little bit before getting seated. This Kula’s wait time wasn’t as bad as the others though luckily. Bottom line: This is the only decent revolving sushi place in the area for miles and miles. If you want to get your sushi fix or revolving sushi bar fix then you really don’t have too much of a choice. Unless you eat a lot like me and can make up for the cost of AYCE sushi. then you have your choice of the Asahi in Corona or the Asahi in Riverside. Both of which the quality of the sushi is better and the variety as well.

This is a mind game. Is your mind strong enough to resist taking every sushi dishes that roll by you the the conveyor belt? Sea urchin for $ 2.50 a piece? That’s unheard of, isn’t it? The sweet shrimp is translucent and decadent. The miso soup contains seaweed and tofu more than any sushi restaurant. I will stay away from any fried dishes because it was covered with lid that traps steam. You know how steam can do to fried food. I like the revolving bars. It is pretty entertaining. Come after 8 to avoid line.
