From the low key sales approach to the design and install, Secard Pools were professional and great to work with. We worked with Bob Cannon to design a pool that would fit into our small backyard. He came up with a plan that allowed us maximum pool but still allowing space for relaxing around the pool and keeping our full-grown orange trees. Bob had huge headaches working with the city and their building code department but it only impacted the installation by a few weeks. The building crew were amazing. All nice guys who let us know when they were starting and ending each day and kept our yard tidy as they worked. They all helped us to ensure that passing each inspection would be a breeze. The final walkthrough showed us everything we needed to do to keep our pool functioning and clean for years to come. The overall result is an incredible, easy to maintain pool that enhances our small yard. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

TAKEYOURBUSINESSELSEWHERE! Dishonesty from their employees, and failure to deliver paid liner by the time given. On 2÷25÷16 my husband and I met Bob Canon, operations manager at secard pools. We left a deposit to have our pool liner replaced. I informed him that the property was currently occupied by tenants but they would be moved out by the 19th of April and I would be moved in by the 20th of April of 2016. I told him that I wanted the pool to be installed by the 20th of April. The 20th came and they scheduled someone for the 25th to come in and«install» my pool. 3 men showed up and demoed the pool. I asked them how long will the whole process take and they said only a few hours(3) to be exact. I thought that was rather fast and they later explained they only came to «clean up the pool and get it ready for the measuring guy.» Ok? So later an office lady calls and schedules a measuring guy for the following week and he never showed up. He lied and said no one was home and that there was dogs in the back yard. My husband and I were both home and our dog is indoors. We never heard a door bell, knock, or call(until he «left» the house). When we called him he said«he must have went to the wrong house.» And that he’d return later that day. He never showed up. We called the office and complained. The office later called and schedule another measuring for the following week. So now we wasted two weeks where nothing was done. When we learned we wouldn’t be getting a pool installed until they submit the order and receive the liner that would take about 2 – 3 weeks, we complained about the length not being accurate to what was promised and what I precisely asked for at the time of my deposit APRIL20th2016. They said they would put a «rush» on the order to compensate. It’s been 2.5 weeks and my paid liner has not been delivered nor installed. When asked for a date of delivery they can not answer me. They say they don’t know. They called with an install date of June 17, 2016! A WHOLEMONTHLATER! When I complained about the time they said that’s all they had because they still don’t have my liner in. So you mean to tell me that you put a rush on an item that usually takes 2 – 3 weeks and it’s been 2.5 weeks and you don’t have anything yet and won’t actually install it until 4 weeks later after delivery? UNACCEPTABLE. When asked again when the liner is expected to get in they say they don’t know. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I encourage anyone with the same issues to do so too.

I’d give negative stars if it were a choice. I hired Secard to redo my vinyl lined pool back in April of last year. They charged me just under 10 K for all the work I had done. Which I paid in FULL. They did a terrible job, they made so many mistakes, they left things half finished they didn’t sealed the coping to the vinyl, left gaps all in the piping around the edge of the pool and literally a HOLE in the corner of the pool where they didn’t attach the vinyl properly. RJ, sold me on a new mulit-speed motor explaining that I would qualify for $ 1k rebate with the LADWP for replacing my single motor. What they failed to do is have the proper license/certificate required by the state to install that motor for the rebate. The same certificate they — RJ and Brian GUARANTEED me multiple times before the work was done that they had and that they did these rebates all the time… LIES!!! So now I am stuck, my rebate has been denied 2 different times from the city and now I have no choice but to file with the courts and sue. These guys stink .I am supposed to have a 10 year warranty I have ZEROFAITH they will honor that so god forbid something every happens in the next 9 years I will most likely have to sue them again. I would never hire them again.

We bought our Seacard islander pool at the LA fair last year and it was completed some time in early January. We spent a few months working on the finishes around the pool and landscaping the yard. My husband did most of our landscape work himself, which is why our whole project took a bit longer, but needless to say the Pool and rest of the yard looks gorgeous now! This summer was the first that we got to enjoy the pool and I must say I was very thankful to have a pool on all those hundred degree days. Bob was our salesman at the fair and he delivered on everything we were told. The scheduling office and all of the crews did a fantastic job with minimal issues. My only suggestion to people would be to go with a darker lining for the inside of the pool. We chose the lighter one and I think the pool would have gotten warmer sooner had we gone with a darker one. It’s not a problem now as the weather has been in our favor but I may be calling Bob come winter time to add a heater — I like it warm! In the end, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this company.

After four in ground pool liner replacements in the past, I am proud to report that Secard was the most professional company I ever used. The liner was measured perfectly(so it fits perfectly), the vermiculite floor was repaired, they even included the bead(instead of popsicle sticks in the corners) and startup chemicals. That was a first for all these things. Bob’s bid was within $ 100 of the other two bids I received, so I say for the money, Secard was definitely the best choice.

Just wanted to take time from enjoying our Secard pool, yes Bob Cannon and his great crew was able to finish our pool before the heat ended. We have been enjoying it for the last month, I say«we» because not only my family is enjoying the pool we find that the neighbors are coming over a lot more. :) My family and I would like to thank Bob, Paula and the rest of the Secard staff for all there help and timely finish to a wonderful pool. I highly recommend Secard pools, the staff didn’t make me feel like a stranger but someone that they really wanted to do a great job for and they did. Thank you

Buyers beware! I purchased one of the soft sided splash-a-round pools in April of 2014 and the seams through out the perimeter of the pool are starting to ripple back and separate. I have sent in pictures to Aaron showing the damage since the pool does have a 5 year warranty and he sent back a response stating they would not be able to replace my liner that they have created a file that the could refer back to for future reference. How bad do I have to let it get before they fulfill the warranty? Think twice before making a purchase with these guys, just look at the reviews…

I call everyday for last 3 days. I ask for Bob, they ask my entire name and what this in regards to?! He’s a salesman and the only one. He should not be screening calls. I wait on hold for 1 – 2 min, and every time they come back on the line and say he’s away from his desk. I leave a message and get no calls back. We’re literally waiting for him to install a pool. But his lack of professionalism has cost them the job. I don’t recommend them or him.

july 10, 2014 time: 09:30 I can’t believe Bob Cannon the Owner/operation’s manager at the Secard pools/spas rancho cucamonga store, Bob Cannon straight out completely in a rude manner, straight out refused to return my money, hello! it’s my money!!! below is a copy of the letter i wrote them. to whom this may concern, i am writing you to ask for my refund for the item i returned this morning. the small claims dept. informed me that i must make a demand for my refund, i believe i did demand a complete refund several times to bob cannon. bob cannon refused to return my money an issued me his store credit. i refused his store credit. bob cannon disregarded my consumer rights and refused to return my money. consider this e-mail as another attempt to get a complete refund of my money for the item i returned this morning. i will use all available resources available to consumers to pursue to get my money back that was stolen from me by secard pools/spa. i would not recommend this business or bob cannon owner of secard pools/spa to my worst enemy.

WORSTPLACEEVER! by far the worst costumer service ive ever encountered. plus all the false information they give you about the spas. i specifically bought a brand new spa so i wouldnt have to deal with any problems, and if there were they’d be under warranty. i wasnt looking for special treatment but maybe some correct information would be nice from the world worst manager BOB! saying«oh ya, the spa only take 30 minute to eat up once its installed and cost only $ 1/day in electricty, maybe less.» LIESLIESLIES. it initially took 24 hours to heat up and i no one told me i haf to keep it at certain degrees fo rit to work properly(about 95 – 98) so i call and ask if im doing something wrong and they say they’ll send a maintanence guy. get there and tells me every visit is $ 110. FORWHAT?! i have no idea. Bob is almost NEVER reachable cause he has no idea what hes talk about. once it was installed i was told what kind of volage it needed, by Bob of course. WRONG! i had to get an electrician to fix it which cost me $ 1500! now, 5 weeks later it is working properly but my electric bill is at least $ 60 – 80 more a month. do yourself a favor and buy a hotub elsewhere. Dont let these liars fool you.

Secard Pools has quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I ordered a spa. I was scheduled to be delivered yesterday at 3pm. Two guys with one dolly show up to deliver an 8×8 spa. So, they recruit my husband to help, who not only ends up doing most of the work, but also turns into their errand boy — fetching them his own dolly, soap and water, plywood, etc. A hour and a half later, the spa is in the backyard. They unwrap it to find that it is the wrong spa. I am irritated at this point about the delivery method(2 guys… really?!) and incorrect spa, but hey, mistakes happen. It gets better(worse)…After several phone calls, they attempt to deliver the correct spa. This time, upon my insistence(and to my regret), my husband does not help. As they are attempting to put the second spa into the backyard(while the incorrect one is inexplicably still back there), they hit the gas main on the side of our house breaking it below the shut off valve. The fire department is called as is the police department. Our street is closed off and nearly evacuated(so I am told by the fire Captain) because gas is pouring out at an incredible rate. For the next 5 hours, a gas crew digs up the side of our house. I could not cook dinner because I had no gas. I could not take a hot shower because I had no gas. The fire department first arrived around 5pm. They took additional readings at 9pm and still found high levels of gas in several bedrooms of our home. The gas crew did not leave until 10pm. Someone from Secard called me this morning telling me a manager would call me this afternoon. A full 24 hours after wreaking havoc upon my home, a manger from Secard finally calls(Bob). Meanwhile, the incorrect spa still sits in my backyard. Bob wants to offer me a $ 170.00 accessory that I don’t want to make up for(1) using my husband as a laborer for an hour and half;(2) sending me the wrong product then arguing with me about whether it was indeed the wrong product;(3) taking me away from my work which I have a considerable amount of;(4) shutting down my neighborhood, endangering me and my neighbors and pissing all my neighbors off; AND(5) filling my house full of noxious gas. It is now after hours, so of course, I cannot get a hold of Bob to tell him what I think of his offer. But, I think you catch my drift…

I purchased one of those Dream Maker spas from Secard when they were at the LA County Fair. Yes that was the me, the moron eating an ice cream cone checking out the spas there and somehow I had to have one. I was planning on a Softub but Laurie talked me into getting the Dreammaker because squirrels would rather gnaw on foamy material than hard plastic. Made sense. She gave me a flyer and I went home to do some research & get one of them 21 months no interest credit cards, hehehe. When I came back to buy, Earl was there to do the paperwork and the spa was delivered a couple weeks later. The guys who delivered it were xlnt with answering questions and helpful. I wish I could put a pool in my yard but I live in the ghetto but the spa fits nicely. Secard Pools rocks & anyone who is in the market for a spa or pool should see them and they have locations all over So Cal. but the Rancho Cucaracha is the main HQ. Can’t say anything else except these guys are #1
