My daughter has been at Tutor Time for the past four months. She is THRIVING! She is now nine months old. Her teachers Ms. Rosie and Ms. Elizabeth are so fantastic! The facility is clean and well kept. The director Priscilla is on top of everything. She is engaged, informative and professional. The teachers keep me informed about my daughter’s status through the precious status app. OMG the precious status app!!! I get updates throughout the day of her feedings, diaper changes, naps etc. I even get photos! When I describe my daycare experience to family and friends, I can tell by their responses that what I am experiencing is not typical. This is truly a unique facility with an excellent, caring and experienced staff.

My daughter has been with Tutor time since she was 2 years old. Everyone is helpful and always informative. This is literally like my daughter’s 2nd family. I don’t know where I would be without these lovely ladies. They give me peace of mind when I’m at work, and I know my baby is taken care of even when I have to stay over. There is now even this app that sends me updates of what she’s doing through out the day. I am so grateful that I found this place. I know my daughter is in safe and loving hands. Thank you Priscilla, Alice, Tracy, Tina, Miss Meme, Lisa, Melissa, Elizabeth and the rest of the wonderful ladies at Tutortime!

After the birth of our first child, my husband and I were uncertain if we wanted to have in-home childcare(our home), private childcare(someone else’s home) or a childcare center. After visiting many places and with much thought, we thankfully discovered Tutor Time. That was 8 plus years ago. In that time, we welcomed our second child and decided to go in-home for both children. Although we enjoyed the benefits of in-home care, there were some things that were lacking compared to our experience at Tutor Time. Since our oldest was in school for most of the day, our youngest was home in a 1:1 environment with our caregiver. While I thought at the time this was a good thing(come on! Reality: it’s a great thing – awesome ratio), our youngest(2 yr old) wasn’t verbally communicating as much as her sister(I know, I know… children are individuals) and started developing negative behaviors. This was so because she didn’t hear the word«no» from our caregiver or have peer relationships/socialization with her typical age peers(aka: she didn’t have to share during the day because she was alone, but come afternoon/evening when sister came home, behaviors arose). Also, our caregiver was ESL. Although we had discussions with our caregiver about parenting practices, because the care was in isolation, it was difficult to ensure she was implementing what we requested. Contrast to Tutor Time’s openness and willingness to dialogue and incorporate age appropriate strategies. Fast fwd: due to changes in our childcare status, we found ourselves in dire need of childcare and we needed it fast. Our immediate thought: Tutor Time. It was very stressful with the thought of obtaining new childcare, especially since our youngest had always been cared for in the home. Really, it was like coming home. Since the staff knew our oldest child, we had a history and they were so welcoming. Honestly, our little one did cry with transition, but the wonderful staff was always accommodating and willing to do different things to ensure that our youngest felt safe and happy. Our oldest child loves it, too! We have been so pleased with our experience @ Tutor Time(Ellena West).
