One word, excellent. My Middle Eastern family ordered two shawarma plates, grape leaves, falafel, and hummus and tabouleh for sides. The flavor for all of these items were amazing, and that’s coming from somebody who can care less about eating Middle Eastern food in places other than my own kitchen. We also tried the baklava, and it was to die for. Will definitely be back for more baklava! Thank you for great Middle Eastern food.

Got a large chicken plate, for me i felt the large looked like a regular serving so i was a bit disappointed. The rice although had potential, was a bit greasy. But i did enjoy the hummus and the chicken. Maybe i came on an off day. But i would go again to try other plates, wont get large again though.

Food was ok, the rice was excellent! I brought to the cashier attention that no ice in the soda machine, instead putting ice in it she decided to take my empty cup from me and dip the cup directly inside the ice machine maker without any gloves on her hands! And that was not a good food handling and that absolutely not ok by the health department regulations. We sit inside the lobby eating for almost 30 minutes and still no ice inside the soda machine and more customers was handled this same way by dipping there cups directly inside the ice machine with no GLOVES!!! Anyway I give the 4 stars for the rice. For the steak shawarma 4 stars for the chicken shawarma 3 stars because the taste not even close to the real chicken shawarma. For the food I may come back again especially for the rice and the steak shawarma only.

Best authentic Mediterranean, Middle Eastern Bistro in the area. I walk in and am greeted immediately with by a kind and knowledgeable staff. Not like other places like, up the the street. Very friendly. They keep this place really clean. I got the Kabobs. So flavorable and well seasoned. They were so delicious. Served fresh. Yummy. Their baklava is the best. The servings are a genourous in size. Every item I have tried I haven’t been disappointed. They have indoor and outdoor seating with umbrellas. I definitely will be back. I can’t wait until I try another item. Delicious Middle Eastern food.

Solid mix of Greek and Lebanese flavors and dishes. Open later then most of the other restaurants(hey… Ontario… what’s up with 7pm closes?) Fair prices, solid food, nice people. Good find.

Zait Bistro got to popular«Trendy» for it’s own good. The Falafel was burnt. Everything was really really salty. The Pita Bread is still good thou. Remember long wait because of good Unilocal reviews now. Food has gone down hill because they have to rush the orders. Long lines.

I was really craving Mediterranean food. I’m so glad that I stumbled across this gem! I ordered 2 large plates. Lamb kabobs plate, cooked to order, and a chicken kabob plate. Both were amazing. The large plays each come with two sides. I ordered tabouli, hummus, and falafel. I also tried their chicken shawarma. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfect!

Some of the best mediterranean food I’ve tasted! The lamb chops are so delightful, its hard to only get the medium portion because I tend to always want an extra so I usually end up getting the large which 4 chops:). The grape leafs and falafels are on point. Some of the best I’ve ever had

Loved the food! We walked right up to the counter to order. We got the large chicken kabob. It was juicy and delicious! The hummus and taabilah were very tasty. I recommend this place because the food is fresh, made to order and great service.

Found this place on Unilocal.Decided to give it a try, so this would be my first time going here. They have great a great selection of food from different combos to side orders. I ordered a chicken kabob combo. It’s came with 2 sides/salads, rice, pita bread, & garlic sauce. The portions were great! Seemed like a lot of food to me. There was a bit of a wait because of the cooking time for the food but it’s definitely worth the wait! I will definitely be returning here & I will recommend it to my family & friends.

I love the food here! The rice is excellent, the falafels are delicious, and the hummus is great. I’ve also had tabbouleh and the Mediterranean salad which are both really good. I’m knocking off one star for organization and communication. I placed a phone order thinking it would save me time but when I arrived 20 minutes later they hadn’t even started putting my order together! I wasn’t in a big hurry so it didn’t bother me that much but just be aware in case you call in.

This place is very impressive and now my Mediterranean place of choice in the inland Empire. Located in a shopping center with ample parking, close to the freeway and major streets, it’s easy to find and get to. The place is not too big or rule me so if you’re planning to have a big party here it may be a little challenging. The place is decorated nicely but is in no way a fancy place. It’s something in between a fast food place and a sitdown restaurant. What makes this place very special however as the food and service. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The sides are laid out in front of you so you know what you’re picking. The food is made fresh when ordered so it takes 10 to 15 minutes to come out. The portions are very generous and the prices very fair. You can taste quality in the beef that’s perfectly spiced and go very well with the sides and a bed of rice it comes on. I usually order extra food when we go out but the three skewer dinner was plenty for me. This place says the perfect combination of quality, healthy food, and good price. Will be back!

Exploring Rancho area with my wife brought us here last week. We’re back. That should tell you enough but I’ll give you a little more info to satisfy your curious nature. Zait is a nice little place great for small groups. I wouldn’t want to come here often with more than 4 – 6 people. They make their scrumptious fare when your order, so be ready for a 15 – 20 minute wait for your food. If you’re in a hurry you can order directly through Unilocal ahead of time… but the wait is worth it! The staff are friendly and the shop is on a corner with great light coming through the windows. They have a few tables outside too. Come quickly, you won’t regret it!

Customer Service: $$$$ of $$$$$ Ambiance: $$$ of $$$$$ Food Flavor: $$$$$ of $$$$$ Prices: $$$$$ of $$$$$ Location: $$$$$ of $$$$$ Zait is friendly! Great customer service from the hostess and owner’s wife(owner’s working hard in the back, cooking!). However, it did take them 45 minutes to get me my order. Thus the lack of 1 star. But I’m sure they’ll earn it back! It’s a small dining area, with some TV’s playing. Nothing fancy, but tidy enough. The food flavor is delicious. The meat, rice, kabobs, gyro’s — all great! The baklava was decent. Prices were good. And the location is easy to access with plenty of parking all around.

We’ve been wanting to visit this place for awhile now. We finally had a chance to stop by for dinner and we loved it! We got the falafel sandwich with the shrak wrap(shrak is like lavash) We initially wanted the pita bread, but the owner told us that they don’t get the Pita bread delivered on Sunday so it wouldn’t taste fresh. Once you place the order they call you up and ask you what condiments you want inside. You can get a wide range of things like the yogurt cucumber salad, tabouleh, hummus, spicy sauce, cabbage salad, etc. all are delicious! The falafel patty itself is so delicious! Very soft and tastes fresh. Has a lot of flavor and they definitely don’t skimp out on anything here, the sandwich is huge! We will definitely be back soon!

Quality Mediterranean food in Rancho! The meat is grilled to order, so it took almost 30 minutes to get my food, which was ok as I was catching up with friends at the time. However I would recommend calling in ahead of time. I am not sure how long ago they opened, but it’s seems like they still need to get into their rhythm in terms of the kitchen. The lamb itself was quite good, well seasoned and cooked, with a relatively generous portion. I would suggest coming here if you get a hankering for Shwarma or related foods!

My husband and I were shopping at Ralph’s and wanted to grab a bite to eat. It was 11:00AM so we stopped in at Zait Bistro which is right next to Stuft Pizza. As we walked in, nothing was ready and it would be a 15 minute wait since they were still prepping. I had perishable food items so we decided to go home to drop the items off, eat something at home and come back for dinner. We stopped in again around 5:30PM and many of the tables were filled up with customers. My husband ordered the Chicken Shawarma with hummus and Tabbouleh and I got the Kefta(ground beef and lamb) Kabab with hummus and cucumber yogurt salad. They don’t have a register/iPad to ring up orders and it’s all calculated by hand at the moment. They do have a touch-screen soda fountain, but it’s a bit smaller and doesn’t have all the choices as the larger ones. Their Unilocal Check-In offer is a free dessert(Harissa). As other reviewers have mentioned, all the food is made to order, so don’t expect«fast» food. We waited between 15 – 20 minutes and there were a few folks that were waiting for their to-go orders as well. Once our food came out, I couldn’t stop myself from shoveling it all in. I like the texture of the rice. It tastes home made. It’s not on the fluffy side, and a bit more dense. The pita bread in the brown paper bag was grilled and I could taste it. I like their attention to details. Their hummus was delicious as was the yogurt cucumber salad. I could literally eat spoonfuls of their hummus by itself. The Kefta kabab had nice flavor, but could be a bit juicier. My husband liked his chicken shawarma, but just wished there was more of it. The garlic paste is also on point. Our total for two plates and two drinks came out to $ 24 something. The drinks were $ 1.99 each for a small cup, but at least you get free refills. My husband and I already had our«go to» places for Mediterranean food and my husband actually said he felt like he was cheating on our regular place. LOL Overall for me, it was a successful first impression and I would be back. I’m all for supporting family-owned businesses. Check out @Rancho_Cucamonga_Eats on Instagram. 150⁄100 Reviews for 2015
