Love this place! Meeting Uncle Randy for lunch but he’s not here yet. Instead, there’s a Pontiac in his place!

Breakfast was delicious, especially the chicken fried steak and the pancakes. Skip the coffee. Place was packed on a Sunday around 10:30…mostly Canadians and other tourists. The entire staff was friendly and accomodating, but our waitress hardly came by our table except to drop off food and the check.

Great place with many varieties throughout the day. Seemed to be busy for most of the day. My club sandwich was very good especially with the bacon made crispy.

Wow. The entire staff is soooo nice and accommodating! We came for breakfast on Saturday at 10am. Although the restaurant was busy there was no wait and we were told to select our own table, which is always nice. Within 5 seconds of sitting down, our drink order was taken by the sweetest bus boy. When he told us our server would be right with us we were almost disappointed because he was so wonderful we wanted him to wait on us. Our server gave us enough time to look at the menu, but never left us hanging for too long. Once we met our server we realized this place only gets better! He was just as nice and lovely as the hostess and bus boy. The Palms Café was a great start to our morning. The service was extraordinary and the food was perfect.

We were only in Palm Springs area for 4 days and ate here twice for breakfast. Great service and we got to talk to some of the locals while sitting outside in the sun. Southwestern omelet was wonderful and be sure to have the add on banana pancake. One pancake is a meal in itself as it has chunks of bananas in it. Glad we checked on Unilocal to find this place.

Went here with a few friends from out of town. Their philly cheesesteak was decent and their chili was good. My friend enjoyed the burger that he got, but he said it wasn’t anything special. It took us about 15 minutes after we were seated for anyone to come greet us and ask us for drinks. The gentleman was very nice though, but they were obviously very busy. I’ll probably give this place another try for breakfast and see how it compares to other places like Michael’s or Don and Sweet Sue’s.

The food was outstanding! Jose and the staff did a great job. I ordered sunny side up eggs with corn beef hash and a side of biscuits and gravy. The corn beef hash and side hash browns had a great crispy outside. Biscuits were soft and the gravy not to spicy. Great job and glad we found this place!

Big portions, and I like that one of the side options for the meals is biscuits and gravy! The pancakes are big and tasty. My son ordered the chocolate chip pancakes that were more chocolate than pancake(to his delight). The wait never seems to be too long as the tables turn over quickly. You can’t go wrong with the mimosas(bottomless for a bargain) — they go with everything!

My grandpa-in-law loves this place and goes all the time. But I can’t blame him– this place is amazing! Breakfast is superb at the palms– i recommend the blueberry pancakes. We were there for brunch and had unlimited champagne for a reasonable price(I can’t remember how much but I think it was 6.95). I have been before for lunch and recommend the cream of mushroom soup and any of their delicious sandwiches.

The Palms is a good bet for a traditional breakfast on Highway 111 in Rancho MIrage. I’ve eaten there a half dozen times and never been disappointed. The benedicts are a good bet and so are the pancakes. We had the crab cake benedict — lots of lump crab meat on a good muffin. The blueberry pancakes were excellent as well. Excellent, friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking in the lot out front. Recommended.

Ok all is forgiven and I’m restoring the Palms to its rightful 4 stars, service problem is a thing of the past and my last two visits have been excellent — really wish they’d serve dinner, I’d be there once a week for sure!

Stopped by her since I was in town on a doctors visit. Cute place. The servers very attentive. Had the egg beaters veggie omlette with hash browns and toast. Very good omlette. My partner had the 2 eggs. biscuits and gravy and hash browns. He must have liked it since he polished it off fast

I was not impressed by my meal at the Palms Café. The service was slow and the food was mediocre. I had an omelette and hash browns and everything tasted greasy and under seasoned. I don’t plan on coming back next time I visit Rancho Mirage.

Now that’s what I call a breakfast! After a couple of disappointing breakfasts in the area, we went to the Palms Café on our last morning in town. What a find! We were seated with Paco, who took good care of us. Even though I marked the 4 stars, It’s more of a 4.5 in my book! Why not a 5 you ask? For me a 5 is the gold standard against which I compare all other meals. This was fantastic and the pancake by itself was absolutely a 5! Because I have a 2 year old, we immediately ordered toast for her to munch on while we decided what we wanted. It looked great! My mom and I ordered bacon & eggs(scrambled with cheddar cheese). It came with fruit(mostly melon) and a choice of toast or pancake. While the waiter tried to talk us into a pancake, we opted for sourdough toast. The bacon was a little overcooked, but crispy just how I like it. The eggs were good, but nothing special. The toast was yummy and the fruit soft and tender like melon should be served! While I ate, I continued to read reviews and saw how much people raved about the pancakes. I decided that I just had to find out for myself. Because I am not a blueberry fan, the waiter suggested the banana. It was so good! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I like mine just with butter and no syrup. It was fantastic. Next time, I am ordering the pancakes!

Had brunch here with the FAM today! Arrived around 11am, no wait time :) Family friendly. Food was delicious @ reasonable prices! Had the 2 eggs combo, 3 strips of bacon, fruit and blueberry pancake(less than $ 2 more). Loved it! Excellent service! Quick, efficient, friendly and worked well as a team. They were on top of refilling the waters, coffee and taking empty plates away without asking. Would def come back if we are in town again!

Ready to fuel up for a shopping excursion to the outlets, my friends and I headed to The Palms Café for lunch on the recommendation of the concierge at The Ritz-Carlton nearby. It was early afternoon when we walked in, and the weather was pleasant outside, so we were happy to sit on the patio to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.(The inside of the restaurant seemed a little dingy and stuffy, which added to our decision). Service was attentive… we had a handful of male waiters helping Paco out, and they were all very nice. It was tough to decide what to order as the menu is huge… and they serve breakfast all day! Upon his recommendation, I went for The Palms Salad. It comes with grilled chicken, mandarin oranges, walnuts, and tomato. I also had them add avocado. It was perfectly fine, but nothing I’d rush back for. My friend Allyson enjoyed her tuna melt as well; she said it wasn’t too greasy — just how she likes it. My friend Arlene enjoyed her blueberry pancakes, and my friend DeDe was disgusted with her Juevos Rancheros. Luckily the took that off the bill for us. Lesson learned: if you end up at TPC, don’t go for the Juevos Rancheros! And just in case you were wondering, this Palms Café has no relation to «The Palm» — fine dining establishment!
