I’ve stopped in a few times, and like the coffee just fine. However, Customer service though is less than perfect. This morning the girls took my order for breakfast sandwich for«eat in.» They handed me a number, and I waited and waited at my table. Finally they called out, «breakfast bagel?» I looked up. They pointed to the far end of the opposite counter where it sat getting quite cold to go. I had to try to dig my way around tables and through the line to get my sandwich, and repeat the process to get back to my table to retrieve my coffee. Tip? Why bother.

Are 0 stars possible??? If you like gossiping teenage girls who have better things to do then assist a paying customer then come here. Place is always a disaster. When is Starbucks coming to town??? They atleast have an app with rewards and appreciable customer service.

craving a hot white mocha decided to stop in while driving to ione. boy was I disappointed. the place looks run down. old not clean. the girls ehind the register where gossiping. felt unwelcomed. now to the reason I came in… my coffee tastes watered down. nothing like a hot white mocha. pethethic excuse of a coffee shop. should of got my coffee from the gas station at least there I would of known it had flavor. sorry rancho muieta your coffee shop sucks!!!

I’m new to the Rancho Murieta area and one of the first places I went to was The Local Bean. I have to be honest I was not impressed(I think the owner may have written that last review.) I feel that this kind of place would benefit from some competition being that there is no other coffee shop anywhere near the RM community. The girls at the front counter were very short and acted impatient with me. The coffee was comparable to hotel room coffee. I also felt that everything was very overpriced considering the quality of food/coffee offered. Again, this is all probably a result of the fact that this place can get away with sub-par service because there the only place in town. I’m not usually one to write negative reviews unless I feel the place is in need of a «wake up call». Hope this helps other out.

This is a pathetic attempt at a coffee shop. Coming from midtown Sacramento, where there’s good tasting coffee and atmosphere –this place is just sad in comparison. I don’t know if I went in on an off day but the staff is totally rude and not helpful. I hope they’re building a decent coffee shop across the street sometime soon. Until then, looks like I’ll be using my Keurig.

Since moving out to Rancho Murieta, I have stopped in here at least every other day. The coffee is good and they have good breakfasts and awesome sandwiches. They have a darn big menu for a coffee place.

Very good customer service. Delicious breakfast paninis and at a decent price. Definitely a must try stop for breakfast or any meal.

Something has gone wrong with this Café, I used to swing by regularlly. I went to the LBC on Sunday, worst service! Mixed up my order, coffee grains in the bottom of my drink, and the coffee shop looked dirty. Staff dresses poorly, no hair nets and the women’s hair looked unkept! I can’t wait for the Starbucks to be complete in the new shopping area, then my commute will be perfect! For now don’t waste your time, keep driving…

Great coffee & food! Closes at 2 pm each day which doesn’t make sense. And they have ice cream but who eats ice cream before 2? I would have given it 5 stars except for early closings… owners, please note everyone I talk to in our RM community wants you to stay open until 5. How about it?

Nice place and friendly staff. Decent coffee. They were out of both the soup and tuna when we went, but the grilled cheese was very good. Cozy spot, we caught it between seasons — a very hot week with a sudden cold day meant lots of hot weather items available on a cold day so we may not have caught it at the right time. Very nice people, so would give it another shot even though our first time wasn’t a «wow».

This is the closest coffee shop to where my parents live now in Wilton. While I don’t drink coffee we came here for breakfast. I had the biscuits and gravy the first day. It really hit the spot in terms of being what I wanted. The gravy was nice and thick with delicious sausage chunks in it. The biscuits themselves were also very buttery and easy to cut through with a fork. I was worried I would be too full for lunch later but thankfully I was still hungry later on. The second day(my birthday) I got their waffle with syrup and whip cream. Nothing really special about it. Not the best waffle I’ve ever had, but still pretty good. Left me wanting though. This is definitely a place for regulars though. Everyone seems to know everyone else and the baristas were getting orders ready as soon as someone walked in the door. My mom is really taken with this place and it is easy to see why. Given the limited choices in the area it is nice to support something local. I think that if you also make smart decisions on food(what could a coffee shop of this size make well) you can’t go wrong. 84⁄100

If you find yourself in this town in need of a spot to to sit around waiting on a friend for two hours, this is your spot. Good coffee, clean restrooms and friendly staff.

Great hours, good Java City coffee, fresh pastries, free Wi-Fi, made-to-order breakfasts and sandwiches, and cheerful folks. Rancho Murieta’s Local Bean Café is the place for an early start. Or a mid-day break. See you there!

Given the severe lack of choices in Rancho Murieta, a place I did not know of until this past weekend, I have to give this place at least a B+ for effort. Their coffee isn’t great, in fact I’m even tempted to take Starbucks over this, but frankly there isn’t one so this is better than the stuff you can get from the machine at Chevron across the street. I don’t get me wrong, I like it! it’s very cute, quaint, and open at 6am when you’re waiting out your turn to go for a nice hot air balloon ride about 3 minutes away. They have a nice selection of «freshly baked» pastries, and the whole place is just cute. Very homely. AND they have soy milk! Score!
