Great cakes, very moist, and flavorful ! I had an idea from a photo and the cake I received was even better than I could of imagined. Delicious

Our recent experience with Amalfitano echoes that of Emil B on 5÷21÷2016. Not so much rudeness as utter unhelpfulness and take-it-or-leave-it, couldn’t-care-less attitude when we went in to scout out the options for ordering a wedding cake. As Emil says, they need intensive customer service training. We’re going elsewhere for the wedding cake.

FINALLY found a place that does more than just a decent job of cannolis! Other cookies are good and the rocky road brownie also get honorable mention, but I am there for the cannolis! Yes, they do sell out so order ahead or get there early. Truly worth the drive within the South Bay and LB as well.

I found this bakery online because it was closest to the park where I did a kidney walk for my foundation. The cupcakes were AMAZING all flavors and they made it convenient for us to pay over the phone. Great service, great taste!!!

This bakery has the best sweets. I love picking up cookies from here because they are delicious. The thumprit cookies are my favorite. They come in different flavors and are all amazing. The staff is friendly and very helful when you can’t decide what exactly you are in the mood for.

Very pleasantly surprised. Drove from Nevada, going to a villa party at Terranea resort and needed to bring dessert. This bakery is one I found online and I’m so happy that I did. I got an 8 inch strawberry with whip cream and vanilla mousse cake that was incredibly good. It was such a hit and everyone finished their dessert because of how yummy it was. I also happened to get a container of their cookies and they are moist and absolutely delicious. There was such a huge variety at the bakery, from muffins to cookies to cakes, one looking better than the other. They also had pizza like pastries as well as having croissants. The prices are reasonable and the service is very friendly. I highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for classic Italian desserts and very good cakes. I will definitely be coming back here again.

I grew up on Ramona’s and was happy when I could find my favorite cupcake again, but lately I’ve been underwhelmed. Every time I come in the treats are OLD and don’t taste the same as I remember. I bought a cake for my dad’s birthday and it was old and hard, so I brought it back and got a refund. Went back for rum balls and the girl helping me smashed them with her fingers or gave me the ones from the bottle of the barrel(YUCK! they had finger prints all over them!) Went in the other day for a blueberry muffin and it just wasn’t good. I think customer service here could also be improved. Overall really really disappointed.

I was Saturday Morning 9:45 and I try to pick some pastries. But I received very bad service from the employee. She was so rude. And when I asked to show me some brownies She started rise her voice. I decide do not buy any thing. I do not recommend that bakery They need an intensive customer service training. Bad experience !

We loved the strawberry banana cake, I ask for it every year on my birthday. My husband ordered what he thought was that cake and called to double check to make sure he was getting the right cake, the«manager» who apparently answered the phone assured him it was the right cake. So when we cut the cake on my birthday and it’s only strawberries he was upset because he called to make sure. So on Monday my husband ends up calling them to let them know they got our cake order wrong, they tell him that the owner takes all the order slips home and they have to look into getting the slips to check. So next day no call back so he calls them. He ends up talking to the manager and he tells her the problem and she said«oh I know I was the one that you talked to the day you called to double check your order, but I was busy and didn’t look at the slip and just assumed it was the right cake» basically told him it’s was the cake he ordered and there’s nothing they can do about it. So basically after some back and forth there was nothing resolved, no apology, NOTHING!!! It’s safe to say we’re done with this bakery!!! Horrible customer service!!!

This place makes great tasting birthday cakes, muffins, cannolis and more. Most of the staff are very friendly and nice too. This bakery is also very reliable if you looking to order a last minute birthday cake. I recommend that if you are looking to go here for a morning muffin or croissant, the best freshest pastries are made during the week. On the weekends the selection of morning pastries is about half of what you would find if you came here on a weekday.

Reminds me of some East Coast bakeries, same great cookies and all, BUT their selection just was not enough for me.

Brownie, cannoli, and cheesecake were all good. Maddie had been craving brownies so that was the main reason for the visit, and she dug it. Very friendly staff and a great selection of cakes and pastries. I’m sure we’ll be back.

I have been coming here, on and off for over 5 years. My family and I usually purchase the rum balls, horns, and the chocolate and hazelnut croissants – the latter two being are favorites. The other stuff is just okay. Unfortunately they don’t know how to treat customers respectfully, very haughty. Seriously? I am a paying customer. Will not return.

Upon walking in, I noticed their HUGE decadent desserts they had lined up for display in their bakery. Beautiful pastries for anyone and everyone. I picked up a canole dipped in chocolate on one side, my man chose the rocky road brownie(which I was so bummed I didn’t get). Their prices are reasonable and they also have many other pastries for the like.

It’s great to see that the baker from Ramona has opened a new bakery! While it’s not my favorite bakery ever(it’s a little too«old style» for my tastes), I recognize the mastery that goes into making the confections found here. Also, I can’t argue with the prices, cheaper than most that I’ve seen. This is definitely the place we come to get breakfast and cakes when we visit family in San Pedro.

This is one cute little bakery. I am not a sweets-type of person, but when I get that craving, I look forward to satisfying it. I went to my trusty Unilocal app to try to find a bakery in the area, besides going to the grocery store. This place came up and after reading all of the reviews, I just had to try it. I absolutely love florentine cookies(an almond lace cookie dipped in chocolate) and wedding bells(bell shaped powdered cookies with walnuts). Theirs are really delicious! Everyone makes them different and I have to say that if I had my last $ 5, I’d spend it here! Theirs are perfect. Besides this, they have all kinds of cakes, cannolis, cookies, brownies, pie, and other breads and desserts. Depending on the day and time, their case is always full. On my first visit to their store, the case wasn’t super full, but that was probably because it was a Sunday afternoon and people tend to pick up things for church or Sunday dinners. The second time that I went in, it was completely full and well-staffed by three ladies. They instantly greeted me as I walked in and proceeded to bag up my goodies. Their prices are really good as well, with cookies ranging from fifty cents to a couple dollars. You can also place special orders for cakes and cookies if you have a party or an event.

This place is honestly just O-K.I go there for my occasional cravings of choco chip cookies. The cookies are big and priced at $.50 each which is great. The rest of the selection is ample but nothing really screams out at me. Today I ventured and tried the napoleon. gross! Tasted old and soggy. I’ll maybe stop by for cookies until yellow vase down the street opens.

Honestly, I’m not impressed. After reading all the reviews I seriously thought I was missing out. 2stars: For the nice girl who helped me and the beautiful looking desserts. It’s all down hill from there. Let me just say… lay off the sugar. I purchased 2 of each of these items: cannoli(original, half/half, chocolate), éclair, Napoleon, tiramisu(my tirimisu wedding cake was 1000 time better from an Italian bakery in Pasadena)…why is it so dry, baba rum or baga rum?, cream puff, crispy, cupcake, cronut, and. one more item. can’t remember the name but it’s a half moon custard. Now. that’s a lot, right??? Honestly, they all taste about the same(SUGARYANDSWEET) except for texture and some with or without rum. I may not be Italian, but I can tell you they didn’t bring back memories of my Italy trip… besides the look of them. Very disappointed. Not returning. To my !#$& list you go. Oh yeah. and diabetics… don’t even THINK about touching this place.
