I tried a few donut shops before coming across Circus Donuts. When you walk up you can’t help but notice the«locals» hanging out drinking coffee with their scratchers socializing. I liked that. I walked in the shop and was greeted by the friendliest, most genuine, donut shop owner named Randy. Every customer that walked in after me Randy knew their names, their favorite donuts, and asked about their family members. I love everything about Circus Donuts from the donuts, to the service, and atmosphere. Its always super clean also. A great«local» donut shop. Now when I walk in Randy greets me, gets me my «usual donuts» and asks me about my family.

Love the donuts here, always fresh and tasty. I prefer it to granny’s donuts down the street. My favorite are the cruellers-some places over fry them and are dry, but the ones here are crispy on the outside and custardy on the inside. If you’re in the area and are craving donuts check this place out!

I always enjoy going to this place. It’s clean and tidy, the guy who runs it is pleasant, friendly and treats everybody with respect. Oh, and the donuts are good, too.

I love stopping by at Circus Donuts for some great donuts every time I go to European School of Music And Art. This has been our tradition with my daughter for many years. We always have fun eating donuts together! Thank you for great donuts and great time with my daughter.

Love this donut shop! It’s closest to my house so we mainly go on weekends. Staff here are friendly, donut and other pastries taste yummy too! Only thing is they don’t take credit or debit cards but they do have an ATM inside.

Sadly I stopped coming here when my daughter quit going to European School of Art and Music for her music lessons. But when i used to come here often — about once a week — Randy the owner I think, would greet me everytime I enter, stop what he was doing and caters to me as a customer. I love orange-flavored vitamin water and when he was out one-time, he assured me he’d stock them next time which he did. That’s what I love about small stores like that. Like other owners, Randy listens. Why only 4 out of 5 you ask then? I guess it’s because he permits smoking out on the front patio which deters some of the kids from coming whenever there are customers and even non-customers smoking. But other than that, keep it up Randy. I’ll come by and see you soon for ol’ times’ sake.

It’s a small place, but they have the freshest donuts around! The donuts are very tasty and the workers are very friendly. In response to the previous review regarding the«lottery shop masquerading as a donut shop,» you have to consider that the rent on that place is probably ridiculous and the profit margin on donuts isn’t very high at all. If I owned the shop, I’d want an additional source of income, too… Just saying…

Always fresh donuts: Buttermilk, glazed or plain are great. Cinnamon Crumb. Maple Bars. Apple Fritter. Haven’t tried any I didn’t enjoy ! Coffee is good and very reasonable. Counterman is always very friendly and seems to know most everyone by name & usual order. Gotta indulge once in a while !

This is a lottery shop masquerading as a donut place. As you stand in line(and there is always a line), the guy behind the counter is punching in lottery numbers, not serving donuts. But if you actually buy a donut and cup of coffee here, you see why you should put up with the gambling nuts and come back. Great coffee, served well. The freshest donuts. And outdoor seating to enjoy them in, while reading the paper. Not a great donut shop, but the best on Western Ave.
