Scandia Salon’s staff was so wonderful. Fernando did my daughters hair for Homecoming. He did a beautiful job. I highly recommend this place. I was expecting to pay much more. What a pleasantly surprised. Two Thumbs Up!

Not that impressed. I walked in for a blow dry. They have advertisements all over that it is $ 35. I paid $ 55. The salon is in a nice location. It seems clean and taken care of. But I paid extra for the worst blow out ever. I will just continue to go to the blodry bar in Torrance instead.

I came here for a blowout from out of town, and I got great service for a good price from nice people. Highly recommended.

There are many salons that offer eyebrow waxing, however it doesn’t mean they are actually «skilled» at brow shaping. Eyebrow shaping/​waxing should be regarded as a specialty service and one should feel confident the service being offered will be a professional & pleasing outcome. After all the eyebrows are a focal point on a woman’s face. I cannot express how upset & irritated I am with the results of my brows. It will take over a month for them to grow back. In the meantime they look like the eyebrows you would draw on a happy face ^^ That’s the ONLY exception where this is cute. My personal experience was not a pleasant one. My eyebrows were over waxed, the hair that represented my natural shape & arch were waxed away. The front of the brow should align with the upper bridge of your nose. The inner fronts (a good ¼″ on both sides) of my brows were waxed off as well. There were signs that the above would happen, even as nice as she was she didn’t seem prepared for me, and I should have got up and left when her tweezers were missing. Ladies, as impatient as we are when it comes to our grooming. Stick with those that do beautiful crafted work. Convenient isn’t always a win win. I’ll gladly make the drive to my professional, skilled & trained eyebrow shaper in LA any day. Lesson learned. I chose to give zero stars.

I been a with Sally for over 20 years, I love this girl, I would b loss if she left her business, I love the color she put’s on my hair, I trust her to do her magic on me, I’m always happy. Anyway I would recommended her to anyone who need’s a change.

I love Sally! I stumbled upon this tucked away salon earlier this year when I was looking for someone to do my hair/​make up for my birthday. I was so lucky to find this place!
Sally has done my hair and make up for 3 different events and each time she came up with a totally unique, creative look for me. She also colored and cut my hair two days ago and I couldn’t be happier.
She always listens to my vision for how I want to look and then I let go and trust her to work her magic. I always feel beautiful stepping out of her salon.
Every other stylist I’ve met at her salon has been friendly and helpful. Their customer service is truly impeccable and they don’t cut any corners.
Prices are TOO LOW in my opinion and I usually end up paying more than what she charges – take into account the time she spends on you, costs for coloring, hair cut, styling and make up… cost for materials, etc. I usually expect to pay double what she charges.
Can’t say it enough: I love this salon! :)

I decided it was time for a haircut and this place is literally next door from my house. I called for an apt and I called for an average price range from a normal bob.
When I got there, they were super nice. I wasn’t sure who actually worked there and who was hanging out though. A foreign woman worked on my hair. She seemed to know what she was doing except even when I was adamant about how I wanted the final length the stylist kept telling me she wasn’t going to cut it that short. Afraid to leave mid-​haircut or risk her ruining the cut I just let her finish.
The haircut took 3 hours. Never in my life, have I had a haircut take that long but I knew it was because she was trying to fix the simple bob I wanted. By the time I left, It was a an average cut and the worst part is that it was way too expensive for the results. I am originally from the east coast where haircuts are at most $ 50. In fact, I went 7 years paying $ 20 for my haircut and I loved my haircut. This haircut was quoted at $ 50 but the stylist at the end insisted that it was $ 80. It felt like I was paying for some lady to spend 3 hours trying to fix the hair cut she messed up herself.
Overall, I wont be back and I urge people to consider carefully when asking for a specific haircut from this place. They seem like they can do simple hair procedures but expect to pay more than its worth also.

Maria gave me an excellent haircut at Scandia Salon and was able to take me as a walk in. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, Maria herself was pleasant to chat with, and I couldn’t be happier with the cut. However, I neglected to ask what the cost of a cut was before receiving it, and had some major sticker shock at the end! $ 80, plus tip! That’s a ridiculous amount for a cut, wash and dry! I have a fairly simple cut, so it is not worth it to me to pay that much. I probably will not return here again, even though I like the haircut very much.

I could not be more pleased with the hair color that Sally Berg did for me today. Gorgeous color, tremendous depth. Sally is a delight and the salon is bright, clean and cheerful. Prices are extremely reasonable. I am absolutely delighted.

I called up last minute for a hair cut and color while I was in the area visiting my parents, and Sally squeezed me in. My hair color was a mess from other stylists, and (as Sally pointed out to my surprise) my hair cut was completely lopsided. She gave me amazing highlights and color, along with a shorter (but much healthier) cut that I adore. She was very knowledgable and reasonably priced. For the first time in about a year, I’m happy with my hair. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Scandia! Everyone was very friendly and Katie did an amazing job on my cut and color. She totally exceeded my expectations of what my hair would turn out like. Their prices are very reasonable and it is a clean, welcoming salon. I am so excited to have found Scandia Salon!

Scandia Salon. What can I say. This oasis is a little under the radar but Sally and her crew together offer solid experience, a caring atmosphere, and styles that will appeal to all ages.

I have been a hair client of Sally’s for over a year now and frankly she saved my hair from total melt down. I had gone to another salon and my hair was so damaged it was breaking off. Sally took the time to discuss what my goals were and then worked to save my hair. A year later my hair is strong, healthy and a beautiful blonde color that gets compliments from everyone. Sally has also done my hair for my photo shoots along with my make up and her skin care knowledge is fantastic.
I am lucky to have met Sally and Tina and I would suggest them to anyone.

Need a massage? Head to Scandia Salon! Hidden gem in there! Jim, their massage therapist. My Sciatic nerve has been an issue, Jim put his elbow into it… problem solved!!! You know how your favorite hairstylist knows just what color and where to put it? Well, Jim knows how to fix that nagging problem!!!
Another reason to head to Scandia… their prices are great, Google a massage at Terranea??? Expensive!!!

I am so happy I took a chance on Scandia Salon. What an experience. Sally took me quickly, listened to my concerns, explained what had happened with my last haircut, and apologized that the only way to fix it was to but my hair really short. I figured, what the heck, it couldn’t be worse. In fact, it was SUPERBLY BETTER. I have never had so many compliments on my hair. Short though it may be, Sally was an artist. She didn’t just lop it off, she gave me a beautiful style that will grow out correctly. Now, though, I’m not sure I want it to grow out. If people don’t stop telling me how cute it is, I may have to keep it short. Thanks Sally. You are marvelous.

Tina is the best! When I started going to her my hair was frizzy and wouldn’t maintain the color longer than a week. She put color and highlights in my hair the 1^st time and straightened it. I had to go to a work function and I have no received so many complements on how beautiful my hair looked. The next time she did a Keritan treatment and my hair has never looked my smooth and shiny and it feels so silky. My husband loves to touch my hair. I wish I had started going to her 20 years ago. I have recommended her to family and friends and everyone has loved the way she has done their hair! Sally and the rest of the team are warm and friendly and the shop is in a beautiful location.
