View Cleaners

This is my first experience with View Cleaners. Last Saturday we had a cocktail party planned and my husband found a coat The day before he wanted cleaned. I brought it in, knowing it was cutting it very close. The staff put a rush on it and we got it cleaned, in perfect, ready to party, condition. I told them they deserved a great rating for such great service.

The ONLY reason why I’m updated my review is because Mr. Pierre kindly called me to explain his pricing structure, how they clean their garments, why he thinks his shop is the best in the area and to provide me a discount that made a little more sense this time around. Other than that, I will not be returning back to this stop or any of his future shops. However, I gave his other shop in (Irvine) the opportunity to give me a price on my wedding dress to be cleaned, but when the lady called me back she was very unprofessional, continue to talk over me, insulted me by wanted to charge me more than the dress was worth (no need to provide that price-it’s outrageous), than lies to Mr. Pierre about our conversation and what actually transpired. Now, I did shopped 4 other cleaners before giving the opportunely to Mr. Pierre shop, and none of them were clearly that high in price. I’m sure Mr. Pierre is going to defend his business and himself. Which is fine by me. BUT all the other shops that saw my dress were in the same price range hence $ 45 – 60 difference not $ 320… Furthermore, maybe due to the language barrier at the other shop could have been an issue– but do not assume your employee’s are always correct without getting the full subject matter at hand. I’m not writing this to draw people away from his business or to trash it. Rather to make residents in the community aware that you should always check out a business Unilocal reviews first, then their pricing, and see the people before you assume it’s a good shop just because their new in the area and throw up a few discounts every once in awhile. And Lastly, If I have come into your shop 3x by now (7am early enough-​never busy) you should know that person first name at least. Not act like you have never seen them before. It shows good customer to client customer service. FYI that goes a long away…

I cannot recommend this service. I took a tablecloth and eight napkins to be cleaned. When I picked them up I was told three of the napkins «weren’t ready.» A week later, one of the napkins still «wasn’t ready». At this point, when questioned, the clerk confessed that they had lost one of my napkins. I was advised to wait until whoever they had given this napkin to by mistake came back and returned it! This is an embroidered napkin, part of a set that has a matching tablecloth. It was received as a wedding gift and is irreplaceable. The store has offered me store credit (as if I will use their service again!) and has offered to buy one napkin for me. This does not come close to compensating me for the set of eight that I no longer have. I proposed that they reimburse me for a set of napkins that at least coordinates with the tablecloth and I presented them with something acceptable to me. I was told that I could get a better price at Kohls! I was also told that the napkin that was lost was dirty! Umm, that is why it was at the cleaners! For a relatively new business in RSM, this place does not seem interested in customer service or in establishing a reputation that would justify its premium prices. Skip the fancy water and snacks and just don’t lose my stuff!

Clean clothes, nicely hung, and delivered to my office. Perfect!

I am updating my prior review because I was contacted by the owner (Pierre) regarding my original review on the awful alterations. The owner was sincere and wanted to ensure me that they are a new management company and cared about my experience.
It’s good to know that companies are actually using Unilocal as a tool to manage their perception and reach out to amend any ill-​will experiences.

LOL this place is a joke. I took in 4 items to get dry cleaned, nothing too fancy just some shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt and another similar brand (can’t remember the name) that cost around $ 100 each. When I went in the clerk recommend I laundered them vs. dry cleaning to save $$, I thought this was strange but nonetheless I took his recommendation. I came and picked up the shirts which totaled to $ 13 and in my head I’m thinking, what would have it cost to get them dry cleaned? I go home and find that the fancy thread cuff links that came with my shirt were missing and had some plastic crap in them not to mention that there were no plastic bits in the neck collar. I called the owner and he explained to me that the thread cuff links are for packaging from the manufacture and not to be worn out, LOL! This guy sounds like some arrogant middle eastern with a thick accent. I’ll tell you what Pierre, when I am paying you over $ 3 to throw my shirts in the laudry machine, I expect better, much better attention to detail. You can keep my $ 13, my «packaging thread cuff links,» the $ 10 credit you offered me and you can have this well-​earned 1 star review. Congratulations, now this location shares an overall 3 star review like all of the other chains. I would have been just as good throwing the shirts in my own laundry machine.
If you’re looking for a dry cleaner go to Power Cleaners in Lake Forest, it’s right down the toll road and it’s less than half the cost with twice the quality.

Clean, friendly and free pickup and delivery. Feels like a salon — quiet, soothing and they offer snacks and drinks.
