Mr Tire Auto Service Centers

I wish there were an option for no stars.
I made an appointment online on a Friday (pretty cool) to get a new tire.
Within a few minutes, I received a phone call verifying my information and confirming my appointment. The gentleman on the phone was courteous and helpful. So, I was looking forward to the next day. My plan was to drop off my car, then walk to visit my grandmother, then walk back a few hours later.
That was the plan…
I arrived for my 8am appointment at 8:10. I hate being late, so the first thing out of my mouth was an apology to the gentleman behind the counter. He was cool about it, and proceeded to ask me a few questions about my vehicle and what I needed– questions that should have been asked by the gentleman that I had spoken with a day earlier. After our exchange, I was told that they didn’t have the tires I needed in stock and it would be 2 hours before he could leave the get the tires. Really?!
I left, visited my grandmother, and received a call from Mr Tire at noon. I let it go to voicemail because I was already officially done. The message left indicated that my tires were ready to be installed.
I think I would have preferred a message that Webster had officially changed the definition of the word «appointment.»
