I was in the area and looked on Unilocal to find a place to grab dinner. I stopped here because of the high reviews, and it was worth it. It was the first time I’d had Nigerian food, and it’s delicious! The store was very clean, and the employees friendly. They took the time to explain to me about the food. Suya is a Nigerian street food. I got the beef and chicken. I liked the beef better, but both were delicious. The meat has an excellent flavor with the spices on it. Very savory and slightly spicy. I would like to come back and try the lamb and shrimp suya. They cook the meat and serve it with onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers. I also got some seasoned rice and plantains. It is a bit of drive for me, but I will definitely try it again. There is no seating inside, so it is best to call ahead and come pick it up. I sat on their very comfortable sofas while I waited as they made it fresh.

Unprofessional. Their saving grace is decent suya. Otherwise, it’s not worth it. You can find food suya somewhere else that’s more professional and won’t be all over the place with their business. They don’t even know what time they’re supposed to be open. Very disappointed. Waited for close to an hour and saw no one. If you have time to waste them cool if not, try somewhere else.

We ordered the lamb and beef Suya, bomb! It had just the right amount of Suya pepper and served with fresh onions, tomato, and cucumber! The fish Suya is amazing with that special sauce! You have to order it… Yum-o!

Great spot! The place is designed well, very inviting and cozy. Food is authentic tasting. I’m currently eating«meat pie«with my free hand as I’m typing this review and I can taste that the spices(especially the pepper) is legit! Some menu options include fish suya, beef suya, shrimp suya, jollof rice, plantain, typical west African«small chops». Try this place if you’re not scared to taste spicy food. Back to enjoying my meat pie…

Great restaurant, authentic food, great ambience and very personable service! If you have been looking for suya in the US, don’t know what it is but have a palette with some adventure, check this place out. I think I’ll be a regular here for sure!

This place is a hidden gem. It’s small, there’s no place to really eat in and the food takes awhile, BUT it is all worth it. The food, especially the tilapia, is addicting. And I don’t normally like tilapia. Portion sizes are generous and the prices are good. Everything is cooked fresh to order, hence the wait, which isn’t too bad since the atmosphere is attractive, comfortable and extremely friendly. I didn’t mind one moment of the wait.

Well, if you are West African, by and large you may have had suya pepper before. Adventurous eaters may have also had it, but anyhow its a Nigerian seasoning and delicious on meat, shrimp and fish. History lesson done, so, when this spot popped up on my feed, i hads to go get it. Nice place off liberty rd, its more of a pick up spot, tho you can make yourself comfortable on their couch and go to town. I ordered the lamb and beef suya, which is just mounds of meat with onions, cucumber, tomatoes, wrapped up in a paper aha African style. The guy was weary that i asked for more suya pepper, he doesnt know that the Ghanaian in me laughs at how spicy something is. It was hot tho, no lie, but very manageable so be weary when asking for the level. I preferred the lamb from the beef, but both were delicious, and i will pop there again.
