The Y Swim Center in Randallstown

Not a good experience at all. First, it took 2 phone calls to get the adult/​child ratio rules. Phone quote was 1adult for every 4 children. Once arrived, staff stated the paper to sign (which corroborated phone rules just quoted), was incorrect. It was now 1 adult/​3 children. I was NOT prepared with more adults… so the children sat outside and were unable to swim until a couple parents arrived an hour later and then they able to swim for 20min! The staff took 30 minutes to check 1adult/​3children in at a time… other staff were there but were unwilling to assist the woman attending to us… as a result a long line was created because of the wait and lack of staff help-​who was NOT doing anything at the other table.
Upon exit, as we attempted to exit the way we came in, another staff was on duty and yelled at us, «if you go out that door you are not allowed back, ever!» This is a representation of poor service and inappropriateness! I WILL NOT become a member of this location! I am hopeful that the staff will receive the direction they so desperately need to make it a better experience for others!
