After reading the good reviews and going 30 minutes out of my way to eat here, i was a little disappointed when my food came on a plastic plate, along with plastic utensils. I really don’t like being served on throwaway. But this is the real deal — eggs perfectly cooked — grits sturdy enough to eat with a fork, even a plastic one — and a terrific slice of spicy patty sausage. If you’re driving I-​73, it’s a good place to stop!

Best kept local secret. Nothing fancy. Just quick and delicious southern breakfast and lunch. Best breakfast in town. Gotta get the chip beef n gravy, or try a country ham omlet. They make grits perfect. For lunch they got the best burger around. And you may even bump into Richard Petty. Grew up there and it’s just normal to see him.

I love eating here!!! Daily specials, Tuesday through Friday. I love Saturday morning breakfast because they serve chipped beef gravy over toast. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!!!
