Chandler Box Office

The building is beautiful but the staff, however, have no idea what’s going on. Upon arrival no one greeted us even though there were at least a half a dozen ushers in the lobby talking to each other. The box office could not figure out our tickets even though we had our confirmation number. When we asked how to get to our seats, we were pointed to the stairs, the velvet rope was down, so we went up and were seated by another usher. We didn’t know the doors weren’t open yet because no staff were guiding us and we were seated instead of turned away once inside. When the doors did open, another usher came to scold us for coming in early and did not listen or apologize when we explained. We won’t be back. We’ll wait for bands to come to us instead, it’s too far to drive from Burlington for a rotten experience. Dealing with poorly trained staff is the downfall of so many gorgeous arts orgs in VT. Please talk to the Barre Opera House, they know how to get it done.
