I recently went with Elite to do my Padi open water certification. Joe Reardon was my instructions.
Classes were held at the pool in Morris Plains. There were 6 of us with Joe and 2 dive masters assisting — really close supervision.
They were all professional and make the confined water practice alot of fun.
We arranged t do out open water check out dives at Dutch Springs this weekend. I showed up on Saturday and was met my Joe. Joe told me the others had cancelled so it was just me. There was an elite group there also doing the same course. I asked him why he came out just for me and not put me with the others «thats because I taught you, I want to certify you, you know me».
That really speaks volumes for th kids of folks at Elite. Folks that a really into what they do and care about what they teach.
This weekend was a blast… one on one at Dutch Springs… amazing.
I cannot recommend them high enough

My wife and I happened to stop in one evening before a trip to the Bahamas to pick up some new snorkeling gear. Our first impressions were very good. We spoke with John and and he set us up with the gear we needed.
A little over a year from that first visit I went ahead and pursued my Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Nitrox Certifications with Elite Divers. I have been a repeat customer since and will continue to advance my diving with Elite Divers.
The shop carries a large variety of equipment based on your diving needs. They have an in-​house service center as well as an air bar for air and custom tank fills.
I will continue to use Elite Divers as they have a very knowledgable staff and top notch instructors with a great selection of equipment.
If you are looking to scuba for the first time and not sure where to start, or are a veteran diver; stop in and talk to Dennis and John. You will not be disappointed.

Getting ready to go on a scuba trip with some family. Every time I’ve come the staff has been very helpful and made my experience very enjoyable. Dennis was great to work with whenever I’ve walked in through the door. Now I just need to pass my certification!

My son and I have completed our Open Water Certification with Elite Divers back in August. They are a first class establishment and the staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The handful of instructors I have worked with directly, including the owner Dennis, take a positive and supportive approach but most of all they make the learning experience fun and personable. As a parent sharing this experience with my son, safety has been paramount in my selection. Elite Divers certainly takes every measure to ensure our safety and give us a level of comfort during every phase.
Given the how the first experience went, we are return customers and proceeded to follow up with the Advance Open Water certification. Again a very positive experience as our instructors Bob and Tom maintained to the high standards.
We’ll continue to be return customers of Elite Divers as we keep improving our diving skills and broaden our experiences!

Great dive shop with friendly and knowledgeable dive masters and instructors. Scubapro platinum dealer that stands behind what they sell and service. I’ve taken a couple of classes for some specialty courses and they were well run and thorough. They teach you the right way and safety is clearly a priority for the shop. Great group of people. Worth the trip.
