Had a private party there on Friday. Food was excellent. Service was perfect. Eric stopped by to say hello and take pictures with us. Stellar experience. All guests were very happy.

Just leaving after my birthday dinner. I’ve been to MTG countless times and have never been disappointed. This was hands down my best experience yet! Bastian was the best waiter and was so patient with my group. My friends aren’t particularly punctual and showed up much later than my reservation but he remained professional and sweet the entire time. Probably the best waiter I’ve ever had. Certainly an asset to MTG Chef Eric. Don’t you get rid of him!

Great service. Great selection of food. Great selection of beer. Came here with coworkers on the recommendation of another coworker. We definitely need to thank him. First off, this place is HUGE. The parking lot looked packed, but when we walked in, this place was only half full(or half empty if you’re a pessimist). Off the top of my head, maybe 30 – 40 tables? Waitress was very efficient. Not one hiccup when serving the 6 of us. She was even joking around with us quite a bit. We went to move to another table, and she got us with«Sorry this table is reserved» I’ll have to get her back for that next time! There were so many beers I wanted to try. I didn’t feel like overdoing it with the drinks, so I only ordered one. I wanted to try at least 4 of the 20+ beers they had on tap. Then were the numerous others they had in cans and bottles. Free Sevendust chips and Sevendust aioli to start. Dunno what Sevendust is, but I know it was good! We got to try their signature buffalo chicken and homemade bacon dip. I was surprised how balanced it was. Something like this you’d be hit with something heavy on the vinegar and it’s drowned in hot sauce. The burger was perfect. I got the kim chi burger with pork belly. You know when you’re hearing the specials and your ears lock on to that one item? Yeah. This was that moment. They also had other burgers I wanted to try. I’m going for the Jersey burger with Taylor ham, egg and cheese next time! I digress. My burger was nice and charred on the outside and perfectly pink in the middle. Bun was soft, but strong enough to hold the burger and juices. Boardwalk fries were slightly crunchy on the outside, but plenty of flesh inside. I wish I had gotten a little more, but thankfully one of my coworkers let me finish hers. Last was the presentation of the desserts. They put real food on plates on a 3 – 4 tier rolling tray. It worked. We were full, but had to try the desserts. That oreo mousse parfait? Oh my. They also have trivia night on Tuesday starting at 8. Even their trivia night starting time is a positive. 9 is too late to be eating dinner. I usually go to trivia nights with drink in hand only. At 8, I can still be enjoying dinner while participating. There’s just so much to love about this place. Definitely highly recommended, and I definitely have to come back here.

Been wanting to stop in after driving by so many times. It’s huge inside! Have to say I was a bit disappointed. Ordered the buffalo chicken dip app and there was verrrrry little chicken in it. My sandwich was okay, but nothing too exciting. Overall, I may go back. But I wouldn’t be sad if I didn’t…

Fantastic place with a bar that is spacious w/large TV’s & friendly bartenders who consistently made sure my husband & I’s drinks were filled & that we were satisfied w/the food — Oh yeah we were! We have been here twice — both times ordered the pork sticks as they are one of there signature appys — the meat falls off the bone & they are delicious — you get 3 to an order but they are pretty large in size! We have had the duck quesadilla’s — spicy & tasty! The whole menu is really artistic & creative & you will most definitely find more than one thing that you will want. Short rib sandwich & chicken pizzette were delicious. Chef Eric was walking around checking on things & you can tell this place is run really well. For the craft beer lovers this is the place to go — 26 taps of craft beer PLUS a menu with a ton of other beers. I saw that they would give people a beer tasting if they were undecided. Definitely check this place out — I really like it!

Ok this place is impressive. Interesting and varied menu a knowledgable wait staff and for you beer enthusiasts a huge selection of beer. They give you these fancy chips with a dip that was excellent. Hard to explain but trust me on this one tasty. Lou had beer called the raging bull. Lou thinks it was the best. For dinner I had the swordfish. Yummy with a very rich cream sauce. Lou had the short rib he said was excellent. Helen had the fish tacos mucho gusto. Ok everything all in this was just a great experience. Ok people Gabriel just laid out the desserts on the table so I have to cut this review short as I just died and went to heaven.

I love this place. I’m here at least twice a month for their awesome live music and each time, I try something new off the menu and I have never been disappointed. Most recently, I had the bone in pork chop and it was delicious! Everything from their appetizers to sandwiches to entrees are always on point. The extensive drink menu and dessert cart add to the experience. The staff is friendly and you’re always greeted with a smile. I highly recommend this restaurant for brunch, lunch, dinner or a late night snack.

Stopped by on a whim after going to the shooting range. There was a party going on the left side. So they do private events! We were seated right away. My friends spilled their water twice on our table. The staff was super nice about it especially for adults to be making such a mess. For appetizers, we go the crab dip and five onion soup. I had the Bacon-Eater w/o blue cheese. The bacon was thick and delicious. I wish the burger was more juicy. The boardwalk fries were limpy and not warm. My friend got the fish tacos. Another one got the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. It was a small portion about 9 pieces(estimated). The other one got the flat iron steak. He was impressed with it mainly because of the price. The dessert was definitely what made be rate them a 4 over a 3. They bring out the dessert on a 3-level cart. They show you a model of the dessert and go over each one. My friends chose the chocolate cake with a fig crust. It was very rich. I ordered the no-bake cheesecake. It was pretty awesome. Cost: $ 30/person without tip.

My wife and I have returned here 2x in the past couple of months and we left both times disappointed. Good: Service, Beer/Wine Selection. Their fries and wings(voodoo only). Bad: Entrees… it comes out less than room temp with a scolding hot plate. Their turkey burger was inedible. Definitely not fresh. Their burger was overcooked. Short Rib sandwich was ok but it near cold and the onion rings(chopped up I guess) were burnt. We were so hungry we didn’t want to send anything back. Oh and we were still eating our wings when the entrees came out. We didn’t address any of this to the server, he was great. We have crossed this off any future visits.

We just had Lunch at the Morris Tap & Grill. It was freezing, like a door was open. We ordered the Chicken BLT on a Waffle. Horrible ! Big chunks of chicken that rolled off the waffle and it was stone cold. The staff was in Slow motion, hostess was leaning on the bar. Bad experience all together…

Wow — once again chef has outdone himself. Love the taste of Mexico menu! The mole is the best I have ever had(note I make it a point to try mole — it’s one of the hard ones to master and really puts chefs to the test). This mole is spicy and rich — plus the perfectly cut and cooked chicken. My husband has the stuffed poblano and my kids went to their favorite pizza. Overall a wonderful success including the 3 year old having a few to many seven dust chips!

Nice selection of beer and standard burger fare. Good spot to grab a cold one and watch a game. The fries tasted fresh, for a change compared to normal bar fare. Give this a shot, you will like it.

Love the beer selection and the bar has a nice atmosphere. They always change the beers and are very accommodating to let you try them. The menu changes frequently and sometimes it is hit or miss. Sometimes They try to hard to be different. Service is always excellent.

Great place to grab a meal while catching up and watching some sports. Food was very good, and be beer was nice and cold. The selection is very lengthy and is sure to satisfy everyone. The pork stickers which I ordered purely accidentally were a smash hit, I would come back just for them. As for the rest of the food we had it was decent also. Place has a nice vibe, I would comeback for sure to just sit at a bar and watch a game or catchup with friends. Parking can be challenging here, especially on Saturday nights, so be ready or just Über in if you live nearby. You can also fill growlers here to take with you, but I prefer to drink my beer right there and then.

This place was mediocre. The service was very poor to start. But I will mention the nice atmosphere. Unfortunately that’s the best thing I can say. At first, when asking about the wine selection the waitress had to take the menu out of my hand and search the options only to tell me «no» after initially assuring me what I wanted was available. We ordered the calamari appetizer. It tasted good, a little chewy, however I was totally turned off by how it was served. After eating some calamari, I noticed it was served on a brown paper bag. The type I used to bring with me to the lunchroom in high school. Not very classy.(See pics) Next, my mother’s burger was topped with the butt of a tomato. That I thought was unacceptable. The Caesar salad I asked for topped with steak, an option on the menu. However, I was served a steak salad with bleu cheese and steakhouse dressing. They corrected this, definitely using the same steak as I could taste the old dressing on it. And it was a pathetic size. I asked the waitress and she said«The chef designed it as a deconstructed salad.» I’m sorry, does deconstructed mean tiny? No definitely not. I ate the other half of my mom’s burger in order to leave without my stomach growling. Definitely see the pic.(Was after I chopped it up and mixed myself, no bites taken) The French fries served with many dishes, were squishy coated with a pasty batter. Very unappetizing and I would be very disappointed being served these with a $ 30 steak. I would have honestly preferred the frozen crinkle fries that ShopRite sells. I can say without a doubt that I will not be back and I would not recommend going here for any occasion. We stopped for a nice dessert at the Budd Lake diner.

Had a great family style thanksgiving dinner with the family! The meal was served family style which was a nice touch. The turkey and ham were excellent. The vegi’s were cook just right. My son loved the turkey gravy. Desert was individual potions for all of apple crisp, pumpkin pie and chocolate mouse. We would not hesitate to do another holiday meal here.

Ok wow. Came here for the first time in a long time. I had the grass fed brined chop with acorn squash and it was the best food I have tasted in many a moon. My only regret is that I didn’t get a photo of the great presentation.

A sunday night, we dont want to cook treat. Appetizer, Pork Belly Buns $ 13.00 Crispy Pork Belly, Voodoo Sauce & Ginger Slaw –The small open faced buns with crispy pork belly, spicy/hot– the sauce was thin and smokey flavored. The heat starts to build after eating but luckily it didn’t totally obliterate our palates. it is a nice change of pace– every once in a while. Steak Salad $ 17.00 , Sliced Flat Iron w/Crumbled Blue Cheese, Fried & Red Onions, Tomato & Steakhouse Vinaigrette — this was a fresh and light salad. it was not too heavy on any one ingredient, I liked it– it could be a regular dish for me. My GF had the gnocchi with sausage, it was the tastiest dish(cant seem to find it on the online menu) — the gnocchi were plentiful, sausage was light, not greasy. I got one bite: I will try this next time! Service is always attentive. It seemed like the AC in the bar was turned up too high but we still left with a smile.

I missed the Unilocal event but wanted to try this place out, since it is in my parent’s town. We stopped in for a quick bite. Started with the calamari, which was actually quite tender … I am not a fan of this dish and even I enjoyed it. We also got a little cup of hand made chips with a dipping sauce, complimentary. Needless to say, that cup did not last long. I had the steak salad which was a healthy portion of greens and steak(ordered medium rare). There is complimentary valet parking. The crowd seemed friendly. I almost expected to see old high school friends there! We didn”t have time to linger and I was eating unhealthily most of the week … I felt obligated to order a salad. However, next time, the deviled eggs and the bacon burger will me mine(insert evil chuckle).
