Stop and Taste

The owners are always super friendly. I’ve had a few cold wraps here and they were pretty good and packed full! But today I had a chicken stir fry wrap and it was excellent, piping hot and packed full. It seems like they use olive oil to stir fry fresh veggies. It was a little messy but so good!

My wife stops here all the time. We aren’t from Randolph, actually about 30 miles south. However, we go out of our way to get salads here. They are out off is world. There is so much chicken and the homemade dressing is to die for. If we are too busy for making dinner my wife will stop herein her way home from work. The leftovers are perfect for lunch the next day. The salads are that BIG! The bread with the salads is always soft and super fresh. Love this place!

I’ve had their subs, pizzas, and salads. I’m especially fond of the salads that are always fresh and I haven’t been disappointed yet. The staff is always friendly.

Pizza’s good. Breadsticks and Chicken Fingers are really good.

Best food in town and awesome customer service. Haven’t had anything bad yet. The best pizza!

Pizza is not bad at all, and is definitely in the Greek school of pizza making. Personally I prefer the thicker crust of Greek pizzas.
The subs I have had here have all been OK to good. Never a bad sub.
They also have a deal of buy 3 items get the 4^th free, but you have to ask for it they will not just apply it, I find that silly as you pass a huge window sign on the way in. It’s a 7 foot sign, not small. You would think… but no.
There are a few things that bring down the marks however.
The pizzas are smaller than everyone else. I think they use a 9″ pan. Not the end of the world, but if you are feeding a little league team the free 4^th free pizza will be needed.
Another small point is, occasionally, if they get slammed, your order can take a LONG time. It appears to be a family business and as great as that is, they don’t step on each others toes. This creates moments where some team members are busting ass and others are slacking, and the main guy doesn’t want to turn the screws to family and as a result, there are clear choke points in the flow of food. But again they are a family business and they all get along, just think about the time they quote «10 minutes» means come right down, and «…um…about 25 minutes… means expect to wait when you get there 30 minutes later.
Last thing… The name…
It is a terrible name… but the pizza place on this location before was called «Big John’s House of Food» so the name HAS got better… I guess…

Good Food and the prices are cheap!

Place is great… I used to work up the street in Braintree.
I would come here Saturdays for a hangover cure on my lunch break.
Best is the chick dish with rice/​peppers/​garlic bread and a Orange Soda.
Staff is cool down to earth people.
Pizza is OK but im REALLY picky.
Other than that place is great for a bite to eat.

So here we are passing through of all places for me. Randolph. There was four of us and we had picked someone up in Randolph so we stopped at the whatever it was next door, I called it 7 – 11 but I think it was Tedeschis.
Anywho I was hungry for food, I hadn’t eaten and was already sippin’ special juice, so this Shop and Taste was next door, so in I go and get a cold sub my way and it wasbomb. Like, I wanted it the next day, craving it kind of good.
It was messy. I ate it out of the plastic wrapping in the car. I may have ate that too.
I am A-OK’ing it because I only had it once, and while it was really yummy, I probably wont ever be back, but A-​OK is still a good score.

The Subs at this place come in big portions and there not cheap on the meats– this is the best place in Randolph to get your subs and pasta dish’s– there pizza is average at best –you have better options in Randolph when it comes to pizza– I suggest the grilled chicken spinach rice and Alfredo– also try there Alfredo Fry’s there awesome– also there gourmet subs really are gourmet –Also their chicken tenders are fresh and Fried Mushrooms are Frigging out of this world for a good party appetizer
