The North American Van Lines Agent for the state of Illinois just bitched me out until I cried on the phone. Why? Because I gave her the wrong case number for my move. But guess what: I didn’t give her the wrong case number. The mouth breathing person who picked up the phone at the call center gave her the wrong number.
Fortunately, she mentioned that if any of her competitors gave me any estimate information she could work with that. In doing so she revealed who her competitors are, and I called them immediately when I hung up. Not only did she just lose a customer, she just scored one for her biggest competitor. Way to go, lady!
NOTE: I did call Allied Van lines, and they have been AWESOME so far. BITE ME NORTH AMERICAN VAN LINES!
