Sheetz

I had never been to Ohio before and what was the first place that I stopped after landing? Oh, it was Sheetz. Driving from Akron-​Canton airport to my friend’s hometown, we passed a Sheetz and I asked her what it was because it wasn’t like any gas station that I had ever seen. She told me that it was, in fact, a gas station as well as a convenience store that does made-​to-​order food. After stopping to see her parents, sister, and niece, we were heading up to Cleveland, to her place, when we decided to grab something to eat for the road and pulled into the Sheetz in Ravenna.
I was completely awestruck. You order your food on a touch pad similar to the kiosk that you can get your movie tickets on at the theatre. There are SO MANY CHOICES. You can have a craving for just about anything and you’d be able to fulfill it at Sheetz. You can customize your order exactly how you want without fear of sounding overly picky, which I can, at times, due to having a lactose intolerance/​allergy.
The selection is top notch. Hot or cold subs, deli sandwiches, salads, wraps, burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, nachos, burritos, fries, chicken strips, breakfast sandwiches, pizza, wings, and so on. I ended up getting a burger, some fries, and some buffalo sauce to dip my fries in. I cannot even begin to describe just how perfect this burger was. It seemed like it was straight out of a burger joint and not a gas station/​convenience store. The same with the fries and the buffalo sauce. I could keep that sauce on tap in my kitchen.
And yes, native Ohioans, feel free to make fun of the girl that fell in love with your convenience store chain.

This Sheetz isn’t as big as some that I’ve been too, but the people here are always friendly and helpful. No car wash here. Just gas and basic store. Good food and good deals! Air pump for tires near Rt 14 side.

Let me begin by saying that I love Sheetz. I seem to have a few friends in different places in Ohio that I go visit and EVERY SINGLE time I make them take me to Sheetz at least twice.
It is a HUGE gas station, convenience store, liquor store and all around good time. I know you are thinking. who cares? Well, my fellow fan of the food, they have the most amazing thing… a self help computer thingee, you get to punch in your own order. Whether it be a sub sandwich, hamburger, hot dog, burrito, breakfast sandwich, whatever, you get to punch it all in, add all kinds of extras, even add extra pepper. Then it prints out a number, some person in the back makes it, calls your number and BAM you got your meal. Take it to the register, pick up a Diet Coke, Hostess cupcakes and a 12er of beer and you have it all. After a night of drinking it is a munchy munchers paradise. AND it tastes AMAZING!!!
Personally I ALWAYS get the Schmagel with egg. Yep. That’s a Sheetz breakfast bagel. They have at least 5 diff kinds of cheese to choose from and every kind of bagel ever imagined. Plus, it’s super low priced, my Schmagel last time was under $ 2.00!!!
PLEASE SHEETZ… please come to Los Angeles. I would come visit you almost every single day. (I was sooooo excited that I was finally back at Sheetz after at least 3 years of Sheetz free drunken dining, I took a pic as I was entering the place. This was pre-​Yelp days for me, I just took the pic as a personal souvenir)
