Sunshine Cupcakes

I’m only giving them two stars because their cupcakes are actually decent.
I’ve worked at a few cupcake shops, an ice cream shop, and my mom is a professional cake decorator. One thing that’s really important is service, to the customers.
I had their cupcakes at a work gala, and thought they were good enough to buy a dozen for myself. Lol
Well they are closed on Sunday and Monday. (What an odd day to close your shop, right?)
So my friend and I came in on a Tuesday, we were SUPER excited to get their cupcakes.
But we were told that they can only accept cash at the moment. Apparently the woman working couldn’t figure out how to fix/​use the credit card machine. It looked like they had an iPad scanner, which is extremely easy to use. She said that there is an atm we can use across the street, and that was her only solution.
We have two babies, we aren’t going to put them in the truck, take them out, put them back in, and take them out again to get cupcakes. On top of the $ 3 atm fee.
The service, absolutely terrible. A good establishment will always have second options if technology fails.
I am not impressed.

If I could give this a 4 ½ star rating I would. I went here with my nephew to get his picture taken by the Easter Bunny, they only charged $.500 something to get a 5×7 pic taken or you could save some money & use your own camera! The gentleman in the bunny suit was very nice & understanding as well as the owner (my nephew was scared of the bunny).
I thought it was very sweet of the owner to offer tiny little adorable cup cakes that the children could take home after their visit. She also hires individuals with developmental disabilities to work with her at the shop– super cool! I bought 6 cupcakes to take home & share, they were really moist and delicious. I highly recommend the blue/​lemonade flavored cupcake! It was a unique yet delicious combination of flavors.
I can’t wait to go back and try the other unique flavors offered!

I first discovered Sunshine Cupcakes at the Ravenna Farmets Market. $ 1.50 per cupcake and $ 1.75 for specialty cupcakes. These are the best tasting cupcakes I have ever had! The shop is small but quaint! A few tables for relaxing with your sweets. Clean, neat and CUTE! You just have to stop in and see for yourself!
