Fresh, delicious, and affordable California — Mexican food. You order at the counter, where the options and their protein fillings are written on a large board. I generally order their shrimp burrito with extra guacamole or nachos(the cheese sauce is beyond amazing). Portions are huge, and come with homemade tortilla chips on the side. I highly suggest their fresh squeezed limeade or margaritas as well. Tips: they close at 8pm. Also, if you can find a bottle of hot sauce they don’t already have(walls and walls of 50+ kinds) they’ll give you a free meal.

Nice large burritos, very tasty. Hard to finish a whole one, but it tastes so good you just keep going back for one more more bite. Yummy as leftovers too. Pulled pork quesadilla are also VERY good(adds boyfriend). Margaritas are yummy, fruity, and strong. It always seems a little empty inside but I like the quasi self service. Order at the bar then choose your seat and sauces etc. Also there’s a fun stuff for the kiddos, find the stuffed monkey. They move it! Also get the frequent buyer card, you’ll be back!

A hole in the wall! Great place, great food! It seeks to be bigger, but just isn’t due to its’ location. It is set back, in a diminutive plaza with a daycare and garden center/florist renting space. It is hard to tell if the restaurant is even open at times. However, the food is fantastic! A bit pricey, but well worth it. If you choose to eat in, the utensils are against the back wall. No ‘service’ there. If it was in a better location, I would give it 5 stars all day!

Order at counter, food is made up fresh. Quick ad tasty order a beer while you wait. The only negative is its confusing first time in. You need to give lots of choices when you order. Wrap, meat, beans, preparation. Food itself is tasty. Unless the campground is open, its seldom busy. Its worth checking out, just make ordering decisions before you go in. Cute place, ok for kids and families too.

We frequent here for convenience. Similar to chipotle but not as tasty. Large portions, and multiple wrap and filling options are a great bonus.

I love this place! I had been searching for a place to get a decent burrito in NH, and I was blown away by Gordo’s. I get the BBQ chicken burrito just about every time. The burritos are huge, and they have a wide selection of different tortillas to choose from for your wrap. Mmm habanero salsa! The burritos come with tortilla chips on the side as well. There is a selection of three homemade sauces to choose from, as well as about 50(!) commercial hot sauces! I always pick a new one to try. The chicken in the burrito is always big chunks of solid white meat, never scary the way burrito chicken from lesser establishments may sometimes be. They also have some beer and alcoholic drink selections to go with your delicious food. The service is very friendly and they always make us feel welcome! Give this place a try, it’s definitely worth the drive!

Tried to call an order in tonight(9÷3÷15) between 7 –7:15…line was constantly busy. The last time we called in, nearly the same situation, but we finally got thru and got to place an order. It seems this place is busy which is great but tonight we ended up ordering elsewhere that said, I found the food(on our first attempt) to be fresh and pretty tasty. We will try again, but I guess we’ll have to call in earlier. Would have given 4 stars if I could have gotten through easily.

Too bad it’s kind of out-of-the-way and relatively hard to see from the street. I live in Raymond and didn’t even know this place was here until I spotted it from the road as I passed by. I stopped in for lunch And was pleasantly surprised with an excellent burrito that was fresh and ample. It’s too bad my girlfriend doesn’t like Mexican food or I would go there more often.

Awesome place! The pinto beans cooked in bacon was the best I’ve had, I got a taco plate, wife got a quesadilla, and our kids got kids meals. I can’t recommend this place enough, kids meals were only 5.50 w a drink, and were huge. giant hot sauce selection as well. I can’t wait to go try more of their menu. very nice atmosphere and kid friendly, but you can get your drink on there as well. stop reading n go check this place out

We will not eat here again… My husband ordered chicken nachos well done. They came with unmelted shredded cheese on top. When he asked to have them very well browned, the server said she could take them back but it would only come back more melted, not browned, because they could only melt things, not brown them. Microwave perhaps… They charge you for salsa ??? Chips but no salsa… The carnita burrito was about 3lbs, but very bland. We also had the 3 way chip & dip, bad. There are quite a few good reviews here, but I don’t get it, the only thing we liked was the limeade. $ 30 for a sad table of food that we walked away from.

Stopped in by chance after Tuckaway Tavern had a 45min wait. Glad we did. The food was amazing even though it was just tacos, burritos and other quick dishes. I had a carnitas burrito and the wife a steak burrito. Both the meats were juicy, tender, full of seasoned flavor AND you got a bite of meat right down to the last bite of the burritto, not something you get at Chipolte or Moes, they barely give you any meat. Needless to say we left there stuffed, the burrito was huge. Also loved you got to choose your wrapper(we had Cheddar jalapeño) rice and beans and your fillings and sauces. All in all this is a top notch restaurant. I have to end with saying our server was outstanding, friendly, helpful, and very attentive. I strongly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Every time I go to Gordos I leave feeling stuffed and happy. Its not a full table-service restaurant but the staff is attentive and friendly and the food is excellent. Yummmm!

I really like Gordo’s, we have been twice, and my second time was my wifes first time. She really liked it to. No Frills, good food served by friendly servers. The girl who works the register on the two Friday nights we have been is very friendly, cute, and personable. My only complaint is the salsa that comes with the Chip Sampler, it has an off putting, almost sweet taste and is very watery. I also wish they used more salt, or seasoning in the ground beef. The Chili is really good, and all of the burritos are good. The pinto beans i have had both times, have no real seasoning in them, and it would be nice if they were salted. Other than that this place is great and will be our go to place for quick dinners. Its not Margaritas, or La Carrettas, but it doesnt pretend to be, it is its own place.

Gordos, an order and then sit down Mexican restaurant, serving up tasty food in a service-friendly environment. A good friend of the family worked here for many years and had frequently brought me food; but, I’d never actually gone in to eat myself. First, the counter person was super friendly, taking a lot of time to explain the menu and all of its options. The menu offers your typical taco-shop items including burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. I ordered guacamole and chips, and basic chicken tacos. The guacamole was prepared properly and the chips were homemade and tasty although a little greasy. The tacos were generously filled and good. The sides of beans and rice were seasoned and cooked well. The beans in particular were delicious. They were not refried but cooked perfectly and left intact which is rare in NH Mexican restaurants. The house salsas were very good although I was a bit disappointed that they did not offer a «hot» version I will be making a repeat visit.

Consistently great. I have been frequenting Gordo’s for about 3 years and can say that without a doubt the food is consistent, well prepared and tasty. They often surprise me with daily or weekly specials which are always fantastic. One of the most memorable specials was Corned Beef Tacos on St. Patty’s day, they were out of this world delicious. I would HIGHLY recommend the shrimp soft tacos and ask for grilled jalapeño’s on top, my personal go-to favorite. Recently they added fish tacos and they were really, really good. Food aside, the place is clean and well kept. The bathrooms have always been perfectly cleaned when I have been there. The hotsauce options make each trip an adventure. My kids love this place, they are addicted to finding the stuffed monkey in the rafters and getting their drawing posted up somewhere. This is a family friendly place that delivers a great meal. The care taken in each dish really shows, I have probably had the shrimp tacos over 50 times in 3 years and they are made perfectly the same each time. The staff treats you like family and the portions are great. This place is great, not just great one time. they are great every time.

Im not sure what happened to Gordos, but something has gone wrong. My first review, as you can see — was glowing. As of the last year, take out for a small order takes anywhere from 30min to an hour. Really? I called tonight to place an order for my family, as we do every so often. I wanted a soft taco meal for my son, but I wanted to lettuce and tomatos held, JUST cheese on the tacos. The girl on the phone had a REALLY hard time understanding this. We were literally on the phone going back and forth for five minutes trying to get her to understand what I was trying to order(a soft taco meal, with no lettuce or tomatos). After she thought she got the order right, she wanted to move onto the next item that I was going to order. I asked her to repeat my first order, «A soft taco meal, no filling» — I said, yes — I do want a filling, you never asked me what filling I did want — which was ground beef” — She said, «oh, um, OK — so you want a filling?» — Here is where I lost it. She ordered me two soft taco shells. REALLY!!! I asked her if she fully understood what I was ordering, she said yes and gave me a snotty condescending giggle. — I went over it AGAIN with her — and she still didnt get it. After all of this, I was done. I told her I no longer wanted place an order, and I was done ordering from Gordos — after being a customer since the day they opened. To the Management: You have a great product. Time to step up your service, both in the kitchen and at the front end. If you know you have a high volume of orders on a Friday night, HIREEXTRASTAFF. You will continue to lose customers because of the lack of quality service, regardless how good your food is.
