Stopped here for lunch after biking on the Rockingham rail trail. The food was good. Large portions. Service was not great. Took the waitress about 5 minutes to acknowledge us and take our drink order then at least 15 minutes to come back for our food order. We have heard breakfast is good here so we will give it another try.

I was just by myself looking for a nice breakfast and walked into the Longbranch in Raymond. I asked if I could sit at a booth which was set up for two people and told the boss would make me move. I asked if my only choice was to sit at the breakfast bar and the waitress told me I had to sit at a two person table. I pointed to the booth I had originally asked about and said this is set up for two people which is why I am asking. This made absolutely no sense. I had eaten there before and the food was good, but why hassle me about sitting at a two person booth, tell me I have to sit instead at a two person table? I was dressed just like everyone else in the place, and see no probable reason why this had to be any kind of hassle I will be taking my business elsewhere and also suggesting to all my Raymond friends to also take their business elsewhere. This was weird. Why hassle a paying customer who just wants breakfast?

Food was average at best. Had split a mixture of pancakes, eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, and home fries, and it tasted like you could have spent 15 minutes in your own kitchen whipping up something easy. VERY ‘locals only’(and elderly) feel to it. Extremely dated, feels like grandmas house. Every customer stared at you when you walked inside, which was uncomfortable. Was seated at a tiny table for 2, with old dusty pictures hanging and knick-knacky wall décor. Food came out fast, and the waitress was friendly enough, but as a couple in their mid 20s, we probably wouldn’t bother going back to this nursing home.

I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast here. A homey, inviting establishment with kitchy decorations adorning the place with friendly service added to the first-time experience. Service was quick and we had some large portions. I had strawberries on Texas toast with a side of bacon and my partner had a Mexican omelet with home fries. Yes, I suppose if you want to try one of those places closer to Rt. 101, you’ll find something standard. But when I travel, I like to visit where the locals eat. This was fun and I would return.

A disgusting local greasy spoon in Raymond center, this place is missing it all. Everything is frozen(fruit) or canned(corned beef hash) and the pancakes were doughy and undercooked. What some call cozy, I call claustrophobic. There is nowhere to sit while waiting for a table and the chairs themselves were squeaking and uncomfortable. Buy some new chairs! The waitress was a ghost though we were there for an hour and the food expensive on top of it. There is nothing redeeming about this place or the overpriced trash they serve.

Stopped in here after a night of drinking, not bad, could be better. Service was slowish on a Sunday, our party of 7 ppl threw them off with so many orders. The waitress practically ignored us until we were ready to leave. Food was ok, a little dry. Overall, it’ll do for a quick bite

Stopped here for breakfast on our way to Pawtuckaway state park. The service was friendly and fast but the food quality was really poor. Everything was out of a package, can etc. Worst part of the whole experience was listening to the owner yell at one of the waitresses. Not only was he loud, obnoxious and nasty but he was wrong! She was doing the best she could to help her customers sit down and he’s shouting at her from behind the grill. Ruined the whole experience.

The Longbranch Restaurant is a local hometown restaurant in Raymond serving breakfast(all day) and lunch. The place has a very homey atmosphere with booths, tables and counter seating, a very popular place for locals and regulars. The Longbranch offers good portions of food at good prices, most entrees under $ 10. The breakfast menu offerings include eggs, breakfast sandwiches, 3 egg omelets(with toast & homefries or beans), pancakes, French toast, waffles, corned beef hash, cereal, and breakfast sides. The Longbranch Special consists of 2 eggs with choice of bacon, sausage, or ha,. homefries and toast for $ 5.25, and free coffee included before 8AM Tue-Fri except holidays. The lunch menu offerings include sandwiches(with country fries), clubs, burgers, salads, soups, chowders, chili, sides, ice cream treats and desserts. Specials are posted on the board. While on the road for work, I stopped in here recently for a hearty breakfast. The place was pretty busy and I sat myself with a couple coworkers(regulars) already here. I started out with a hot mug of coffee($ 1.85), which was brewed just right. For breakfast, I ordered a special which was a Bacon, Broccoli, Tomato & Cheese Omelet($ 7.25) with homefries and toast. The food came out quickly. The omelet was a blended kind and folded into a thick halfmoon shape. The homefries were grilled crisp fresh cut potatoes. The raisin toast was buttered already. The food tasted pretty good and was filling. The service was attentive and prompt. I was given refills on the coffee, which I definitely needed to start the workday off right. CLOSED Mondays

Just finished camping at Pawtuckaway and my boyfriend and I needed a place for breakfast on our drive home. It’s inly 2 miles away from the camp grounds and the food was delicious! The service was great, friendly staff and food was delivered quickly. Will definitely go there again after camping.

A crowded little breakfast lunch spot in the center of Raymond. This seems to be a popular gathering place for the locals with lots of hellos and greetings being passed back and forth. Service is quick and the flow of people is constant so you may have a wait of a few minutes on a busy weekend. The food is home cooked quality. Packaged bread and bacon, canned corned beef hash etc. The portions are large and filling and the prices are inexpensive.

The owner has lost his passion an has therefore lost us as customers there should NEVERBE A FLYSTRIP hanging over our heads during service. there is something really wring when the orange juice tastes like metal that means it has to be cleaned BADLY! the local folk like him but I betcha if there were another breakfast place in town, he would be forced to close down. I know that is harsh but maybe if people were more honest with him, he would get his passion back for cooking.

After a night of roughing it in Pawtuckaway State Park, I very desperately needed something more than granola bars for breakfast. Wifey and I drove into downtown Raymond in hopes of finding some tasty salvation and happened across the Longbranch. This is what small town New England breakfast is all about. Had the $ 4.50 special — bacon and eggs, homefries and toast. Homefries were blackened and coated in paprika — so yummy just like the neighborhood breakfast joint in Yalesville, CT where I grew up. And I asked for rye toast only to be served marble rye — BONUS! Pancakes were just right too. Normally, I’d only give them 4 stars, reserving the fifth star for a brilliant menu item or amazing experience, but this time I award a fifth star sheerly for seredipity of their mere existence.

Great, inexpensive, and huge portions. The quintessential New England breakfast place. I love it. =)
