Exceeded my expectations. We were here on Saturday around 5pm with family. The cashier was friendly and happy to accept a coupon. So many restaurants act put out when you present a coupon as if it’s coming out of their paycheck, but not so here. As you can tell if you’ve read my other reviews SERVICE is the most important aspect to get me to return. The service here is probably the best we’ve received in a long time. Our waiter seemed new but clearly understood his job. It was so refreshing to see staff enjoy their jobs, do them well, and know how to make customers feel welcome. I’m from the JoCo area and the service we’ve received lately at local restaurants has been laughable at best… they could learn a lot from watching the staff at this GC location. The food is good, especially for a buffet. The only negative is concerning the baked desserts which are on the bland side & taste the same. They are pre-portioned so if you want to try just a bite, you’re kind of stuck taking an entire slice. The variety of icecream flavors is a plus though. We will gladly drive across town to eat here over dining nearby in JoCo where servers act put out by your presence & hate their jobs. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here & much of that was due to the friendly, attentive staff.

Golden Corral in Raymore is a great place to take the family or get your grub on for yourself. There’s a great variety of foods that should satisfy everyone’s needs for a reasonable price, especially considering it’s «All you can eat». Its actually quite inexpensive during the prime rib wknds being prime rib ranges between $ 15−32+ at many other restaurants! The environment is friendly with staff that treats you like you are their«guest». The managers aim to please and are always willing make things right! Try them out and see for yourself.

Stopped in there while in town working. It was a great friendly atmosphere and the staff was really nice. There was an amazing selection of food to choose from and the sauted mushrooms were the bomb! Everything I had was wonderful. I will definately be back!

Stay away. This location looks good on the outside, but inside… well, they have few meat selections, with HUGE pieces of fried chicken that no one was eating, some ham in the breakfast area, meat loaf and… I think that’s all. The vegetables were dried out from sitting. They did bring out fresh rolls, if that’s your thing. Very few selections on the salad end. Overall, just not appealing and just no good selection. We used to be big fans of GC in Texas, but sadly, not here. The floors needed to be swept(at the dinner hour), a lot of clutter in some areas, and the music was way too loud.

We went there when it first opened and it was pretty good. Since then it is terrible. I have been to many Golden Corrals and this one is a huge disappointment. The food is tasteless, the garden bar needs to be freshened up periodically. Some of the potato and macaroni salads had a crusty layer from not being stirred. The company generally prides itself in a good meatloaf. This one was dry and tasteless. The broccoli and cauliflower were not cut to portions, but appeared to simply be a full head cut in half. Who wants a full plate of broccoli? So that tells me cooks are lazy and makes me question the prep for all the other foods. Desserts were dry and tasteless. This Corral is certainly not worth a $ 15 dinner and not even worth 1 star. It should be closed down or the owner should sell to someone who takes pride in running a business.

Recently they made some favorite breakfast items to be available all day which gave the customers more quality food items to choose from.

Terrible place. Not sure this company cares about quality food. Also, please don’t EVER serve liver, that is marked as rib tips. It’s pretty bad when you can’t tell by looking at it, which one it is. We will NOT be back!

My family went there for breakfast on a Saturday and my wife was going through the plates trying to find a clean one when one of the owners came by and told her she can not flip the dirty plates over. He then put all of the dirty plates back on the stack and told my wife they are not dirty. One of them had a big streak of cheese sauce across it. Needless to say we will not be eating there ever again.

Went here when it first opened and wasn’t bad then. It’s gotten bad now. The GOOD: Not much. Milk and orange juice comes with the price of the breakfast buffet(we found out after buying everyone drinks for $ 2.50 each. Sigh.) The lettuce at the salad bar looked fresh and crisp, which it should be at 9:30am. Waitress was as attentive as she could be trying to cover 20 tables. The BAD: All the food was cold and looked and tasted stale. The bacon was inedible. The omlette station was dirty and repulsive. The girl didn’t clean the burnt cheese out of the omlette pan when she made my omlette. Waitress didn’t ask why she had to take away several plates of uneaten food, probably because she’s used to it. They had a guy cleaning up in between customers but everything looked greasy and gross anyway. Not sure if that’s messy customers or that everything is greasy. I don’t eat ham but my wife came back with a piece so thin it bordered on transparency. They must be really proud of that ham. We all left hungry after paying $ 12/person for breakfast(buffet/tax/drink/tip). I’ve had worse, but rarely. Will not be returning.

Tried this place twice and won’t be back for more. Most food just isn’t good and the place is somehow a zoo. The only reason we came back is because they have cotton candy, not worth it

I waited until our 2nd visit to write a review. My advice is to avoid this place like the plague. We all know what to expect from these kinds of buffets, and this one is bad… really bad. It’s filthy, buffet items are left unattended & unstirred(so most dishes have a good crust around the outside). The popular items are left empty for long periods & the customers have to alert the staff to refill them. Also found a dessert item that wasn’t fully cooked(banana bread). The manager needs to find a new job. If you can’t even force a fake smile & welcome your customers, then it’s time to move on. The worker at the salad bar was repeatedly banging some utensil, loudly & purposefully against the side of the sink as she was cleaning it. Needless to say, this will be our last visit. If you’re wanting a buffet there’s a Ryan’s, literally, right across the street.

Ok, so I asked for it! Cheap food, wrecked belly. This place hasn’t even been open for 6 months yet and its already trashed! Don’t waste your time stopping by. Greasy, cold, and bland… might as well be across the street at Ryan’s.

Vomit on a plate. Breakfast was horrible. Sausage bland no flavor. Tasted like mini burgers they even grilled it? Who does that? I’ve never seen sausage with grill marks. Bacon limp and greasy. Haven’t you heard of baking sheets and an oven. Pancakes tasted like cake mix. I seriously ate 5 bites of food. My mother ate only eggs. My son barely ate. The manager was a jerk when I asked for my money back. He refused to do anything but give me one free meal. I paid for 3. I won’t be returning. Terrible food and service.

Been here three times. Getting worse every time. Tonight they are worries about getting things done for tomorrow and aren’t paying attention to the bar. Steak not done, guy cooking them has a beard and it’s not covered. No strawberries, marshmallows or rice crispy treats on desert bar. Place is going downhill quickly. Too bad we needed a decent place here.

This place is disappointing for a recently opened business, especially since Raymore has limited dining options. I was hopeful, so I tried lunch twice & dinner once. I won’t go back. The food is mediocre. The prices aren’t cheap either. I found cold foods that are supposed to be hot and vice versa. I also saw foods that looked burned around the edges from reheating, probably from the day before. I saw lots of employees, including a man I assumed to be the manager by the way he was dressed, standing around chatting among themselves while tables needed to be bused and the food swept up from the floor. On my last visit, I had the misfortune to encounter a Gestapo server who immediately removed all dishes, cutlery, napkins, and beverage when I got up briefly to get something from the food bar. She was really put out when I came back. She wasn’t apologetic, but she grudgingly replaced my beverage, and made the smart aleck remark that I had a clean table to eat from. Her attitude spoke volumes about the lack of customer service and staff training at this place.

A little smaller than other Golden Corrals that I have been too, but same quality of food. A lot of choices and some of it was cold but ok. 11.50 on Sundays a little steep but whatever.
