Getting my lease over 2 years ago was not so bad but the service department needs help. Not once but twice I have seen the office girls in the service department throw fits in front of anyone watching yelling at their management or whoever but on top of that you wait easily an hour to and hour and a half for your oil change.
The last oil change I had they forgot to put a sticker of when my next one was due, I made an appointment for an oil change but they couldn’t get me in until after I went over the allowed mileage. My lease came with free oil changes. So he told me I would have to pay for it and not only this one but from now on! As many drivers, you don’t realize how fast you go through your miles and I wasn’t sure since they forgot to put the sticker on. not sure what they were doing for over an hour the last time on my car but now, I’m stuck paying for my oil changes .
To be honest I am fine with that, It’s easier to find a place closer to home that will not make me wait for over an hour even with an appointment, not be subject to listening to unprofessional employees have rude outburst like 5 year olds and oh yeah they will most likely put a sticker on my windshield as a reminder of my next service if they want my business.

Do not use their service department, plain and simple. Aside from the fact that they are always booked up and can’t accommodate you in emergency situations this is the most untrustworthy shop i’ve ever stepped foot in. I had an appointment here about one week after my check engine light came on. After driving all this time with the light consistently on I sat in the waiting room for about one hour until i was told the check engine light is not even on anymore. Weird because it was on for a week straight up until i parked it in your lot. About 2 weeks later the light came back on so i decided I would give it some time to shut itself back off. Its been about a month now and after bringing it to a local shop I’ve discovered that the light is in fact on for a reason. The only reason i gave this shop the time of day is because of my extended warranty (which so far has been no use to me) but i think i would rather pay the extra money or travel 40 miles outside of Raynham to get my warranty at a chevy dealership i can trust.

Horrible experience! I would NOT recommend or ever go back! I bought a vehicle here was over charged and it broke down beyond repair after just 2 years and the extended warranty I purchased for an additional $ 500 did not cover any of the repairs?! I was lied to and shammed. Very devious and deceptive business practice. Avoid this place at all costs. This place does not deserve a star it deserves a wrecking ball.

Deceptive business practices, creating confusion at its finest. Prices on McGee’s website change daily. Was told I could not get in a $ 28k truck at a payment I was comfortable with due to negative equity in my trade-​in. Negotiate on a lesser, base model truck based on a payment I was comfortable with, and when we get to the paperwork, the sales contract shows the sales price at $ 28k (not the $ 25,900 that was advertised on the their website). When I call the next day to question this, the price mysteriously is raised to $ 33,900 on their website (while autotrader, Edmunds, etc. all show the original $ 25,900 price), and I’m all of a sudden getting a fantastic deal. The explanation is that they can only finance so much negative equity so they are inflating trade value and in turn can raise the price of the truck… but I thought the truck was $ 33,900, not $ 25,900 anymore… confused yet? Further, I say well ok, if I am financing the sticker price of the vehicle I originally wanted to purchase, I would like to buy the original vehicle. I was told that I could not have that vehicle, because they won’t give me as much for my trade. Maybe I am mistaken or naïve, but I thought a trade offer was what it was, and not subject to change per deal. We were repeatedly told by our salesman that he didn’t even know what the sticker prices or interest rates were, but the numbers will shake out to get us our desired payment, but only on that one truck. Long story short we purchased the truck as we needed a vehicle due to the condition of our previous vehicle, but definitely do not feel as though this deal was transparent or above-​board by any means. We asked for a trailer hitch from the previous vehicle to be removed so we could take it when we picked it up an were told they can’t remove it but we can if we want. Further, the new vehicle was on empty. I purchased another family vehicle days before this from another dealer, and it was night and day. Sticker price never changed, payment was determined before financing, trade in value didn’t change from vehicle to vehicle, car was clean, full tank of gas and one final sweep was done of prior vehicle to be sure nothing was left behind. This deal was a complete nightmare and I would never, ever, recommend this dealership to anyone in the future. Awful, awful, awful. So disappointed.

Prices are good. Car buying process takes too long

Wish I could give less than 1 star. Don’t give them your car key for them to «check your trade in vehicle» it’s impossible to get the key back and leave. Their sales practices are tired and heavy on intimidation. The good cop/​bad cop routine was priceless — it almost seemed like it was a parody. Unfortunately that’s real life at this sad place.

Would love to give this place something other than a one star rating, but when you drive 65 miles one way after confirming an appointment with the internet manager, and when you get there you are told the vehicle was sold the previous evening, you get one star. That is failure at its core. Try another dealership.

This place is an absolute nightmare. Some low points: the salesman said if I bought the car, he would «gas it up.» When I went back to pick the car up I noticed the tank was only a quarter of the way filled. I asked if they could fill the car up, and they told me there’s a gas station down the street. Joyce in the finance office is a vulture and a complete liar. If you’re brave enough to test Chevy McGee’s waters then make sure you do your homework as to what a bank requires when you purchase a car financed though Chevy McGee, otherwise Joyce will blatantly lie and try to intimidate you into making a decision on the spot, even if you want to verify points that were made as they didn’t pass the sniff test. This car dealership is extremely short sighted as they’re only interested in selling one car, as opposed to trying to build a life long client relationship. When you here jokes of how shysty a car dealership can be, think of Chevy McGee because they epitomize it.

These people are crooks! Bought a used 2011 Cruze LTZ. Beautiful car. All the bells and whistles. Repeatedly reminded the salesman that I wanted a second key, However, on delivery he was «in a rush» and long story short after speaking with the sales manager and then the general manager, that liar, Who says in their commercials that «they’ll do anything to make you happy» that they’re not obligated by law to give me a second key! I was hounding these people for weeks! All I wanted was a second key! A bunch of liars! And deceiver! I would NEVER EVER send anybody to these people! Stay away!

OH MAN! Sooo, quick and simple, NEVER GO HERE. They are incompetent, lazy, liars, and only skate by by doing the bare minimum.
The Details:
I recently purchased an 08 ex35 infiniti. When taking the test drive had mentioned the rotars looked rusted. I was assured that it was minor weathering but it would be taken care of and that the car had had a complete tune up.
After driving off, my tire pressure gauge light came on for he next 2 days. I informed the dealership the pressure was too high initially but now was low and was continually leaking, as I had filled the tire with air several times. I left work early, and drove 40 minutes from work. The service department patched my back tires and i was on my way again. When called to come in for my inspection sticker the next day I mentioned the tires looked really bald. I was then told to come back again tomorrow while they ordered new tires because they would not pass the inspection. A problem that should have been noticed and addressed by any competent servicer when patching it the first time. My pressure sensor reappeared shortly after for a 3^rd time because apparently no one reads what the correct pressure for the car is, even tho its printed inside the door.
2 weeks later needed to be jumped and I found out that the problem was a corroded white encrusted old battery. Along with the vehicle shaking violently when ever breaks were applied. One more week later my back tires began making a grinding noise which by the end of the day turned into a loud scraping even when not pressing on the breaks. I informed the dealership and was told I needed to pay 100 dollar diagnostic fee to look at it. After yelling that them that my trips back and forth in addition to leaving work early so many times have cost me over 100 dollars and that this tire/​rotar/​break issue was pointed out DAY 1.
They Still wouldn’t budge on the 100 fee. I returned the next day to 3 replaced rotars and one resurfaced due to severe warping along with all new break pads. Issues that, again, should have been noticed not only the first time patching the tire, but again when replacing the tires, and again on inspection.
This dealership is so hell bent on the bare minimum of service that it put myself, family, & 9 year old step daughter’s life in danger due to their, lazy, & negligent incompetence, along with falsely passing a car inspection that had no business passing in the first place if done correctly. I will be contacting the BBB, and Attorney General of Motor Vehicles in regards to how piss poor and potentially fatal errors their service department have made, including the fact that they are so terrible at their job that they could not even fill the tires correctly again after the entire ordeal.
When asking for the previous service records so that I could see what had ACTUALLY been address on the car since it had been purchased in 2012, I was met with the response that they could not find any paperwork for anything, EVER.
HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! FUCKING HORRIBLE.
Update* Week 5 is now upon us and my Oil maintenance light has come on meaning they never even gave the car an oil change making their claims of a «complete tune up» absolute BULL$#&%.

Minor leagues. It’s like the TV show deal or no deal, but you have two bankers. They don’t come out or anything. It’s everything wrong with car sales. Rip off went to quirk, worth the trip. No bs there. Deal done. McGee held my reg and key as collateral while we «negotiated»,. Don’t waste your time hit a real dealer.

I just bought a new Silverado at McGee Chevrolet. I have to say after dealing with almost all the chevy dealers in the area and even some out in western MA, this dealer was straight forward and fair. Now, I understand someone’s car buying experience at a dealership has a lot to do with who they talk to for a salesman. Some of the other dealers I went to had salesmen that made it seem like their job was a chore and they were doing ME a favor by just entertaining me with their time. Not the case at McGee. I actually had the opportunity to talk to the owner (Jamie) and one of the best sales man it think I have talked to (Sam). Both real stand up guys. All the salesman I have worked with in the past have all had the same qualities. They actually treat you like a person and not just dollar signs, they actually act like they want your business, and they show common courtesies, and of course offer a fair price. It seems harder and harder to find a decent salesman. My salesman Sam showed all these positive characteristics. He even helped clean the truck down for me so it was spotless when I drove it home because they were short handed. Just a genuine good guy. If you had a bad experience at this dealer… you were not talking to him. After the deal was all said and done Sam even took the extra time to make sure I knew how to use all the electronics in the truck and said he would follow up with me to make sure everything was going good with the new purchase. All in all a good experience from start to finish. When my wife is due for another vehicle I know where I’ll be heading. Thanks again Jamie and Sam.

This place is horrible. Do not give them a dime, especially the service department. We went in one day with a working car to have a recall done and came out with a non working car. They wanted us to pay $ 140 just to look at it and emphatically told me it was a «coincidence» that the ignition didn’t work the day after the ignition recall was done. Don McGee is the service manager, and has horrible customer service and an unprofessional temperament. They will never get another dollar from us.

No. Don’t do it. Stay clear of this place. Went in and test drove a new SUV. They immediately want to run a credit report to «give me an accurate number». I said no. Let’s agree on terms first. Low balled me on trade. I immediately said were too far apart and I’ll be on my way. Continue to negotiate with me, wanting me to accept their numbers. I’m adamant with my number and won’t budge. I needed to ask for my keys no less than 8 times. Each time they told me so an so was getting them and would bring them shortly. 20 minutes later and me on the edge of calling the cops they bring them to me when I’m outside waiting at my vehicle and thoroughly pissed.
I’ve bought and owned more than 10 new cars and this by far was the worst experience.

As many others have already stated on here, I’d leave zero stars if I could!
I purchased a 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible from this dealer on March 17^th 2014. I first saw the car advertised as a brand new vehicle on
for the full MSRP. When I visited the dealership I was informed the car had 2400 miles on it and it was explained to me that the owner of the dealership put those miles on the vehicle. It was also explained to me that because the car had never been registered or titled, it was being sold as a «new» vehicle and I would be the first owner on the title. I have proof of this in an email between myself and McGee’s Business Development Manager, Michael Camara. At the time I was researching the purchase of a 427 Corvette, there were many other dealers all over the country who were offering heavily discounted prices on new, leftover 427 Convertible’s. I found several for HUGE discounts off MSRP. I used this information to negotiate the price of the car at McGee and decided to purchase it.
There were two sales people that sold the car to me. Jefferson Arguello and Michael Camara. At no time was it ever disclosed to me that the vehicle’s warranty had started when the dealership’s owner first started driving the car on June 24 2013, which is 9 months before I purchased the car. When I first saw the car (mid February), there was no signage on the car to indicate is was used or had any type of diminished warranty. This was also the case on 3÷17÷14, the night I purchased the car. Instead, the salesman Jefferson Arguello, told me in person, with my fiancé as a witness, that he would make sure I got the full bumper to bumper warranty. He told me he would activate the XM/​Sirius subscription, and he also told me he had registered me to receive 2 years of scheduled maintenance for free.
At no time was it ever explained to me that the car didn’t come with the full warranty. It was also never explained to me that the XM subscription would only be 3 months instead of the 12 months I was promised by the salesman. I believe that by law, any vehicle being sold that doesn’t have the full factory warranty on it is supposed to have a document displayed on, or near it called a «Buyers Guide». This document is supposed to detail exactly what the warranty includes or doesn’t include. This vehicle never had that document displayed.
According to the window sticker (which was not displayed on the car, it was in the glove box), a 3 year/​360 000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and a 5 year 100 000 mile power train warranty come with the car, as well as a 12 month free subscription to XM/​Sirius. Because I was told the car was being sold as «new», I assumed the full factory warranty would be included. I assumed this to be true because it’s what the salesman told me.
Jefferson did activate the XM/​Sirius subscription but the dealership only authorized 3 months instead of 12 months. The dealership offered to cover the 9 months of elapsed warranty but any work to be performed during this time period has to be done specifically through McGee, in my opinion it should be available through any Chevy dealership.
The purchase and sale contract I received from McGee shows my car as «NEW». It is not listed as a «demo», nor does it note any other type of prior use. Once I learned what was going on, I made a formal complaint with GM as well as the dealership. GM referred me back to the «GM Customer Experience Manager» at McGee, who told me I «should have known the car was used because it had 2400 miles on it». I obviously knew about the mileage but was mislead about the warranty and other services that came with the car when it was sold. The Customer Experience Manager told me there’s nothing he can do about extending my XM/​Sirius subscription, which is 9 months short of what’s stated on the window sticker. He told me the vehicle I bought does not qualify for «2 years of free scheduled maintenance».
This morning I visited the dealership and spoke in person with Jefferson Arguello at length about what has happened. In his own words he said to me «if this happened to me and I had bought the car, I’d be pissed and would be making a bigger deal out of it than you are». He told me he simply gave me the information he was given at the time of sale. Apparently he was told the car came with a full GM warranty, 2 years of free scheduled maintenance and 12 months of XM/​Sirius. He was misinformed and because of that, I was misinformed.
The dealership and its representatives misrepresented the vehicle to me. The dealership should have fully disclosed all of this information before I purchased the car, not after. The dealership should have noted any former use on the purchase and sale contract, instead of stating it’s a «new» vehicle. A «new» vehicle comes with a full warranty. A «demo» or something other than «new», does not. The dealership also should have stood behind its salespeople.

I had an excellent customer experience with McGee Chevrolet. In ultimately leasing a new Chevy Malibu Eco, i worked with Elder (Salesperson), Anthony (Finance Manager), and Steven (Sales Manager). Each of them worked their hardest to help me not only find a car that i truly liked, but also helped me from a personal standpoint in getting out of a troublesome financial situation that would have only been a continuous cycle had they not offered their assistance.
Love the car and now they have a loyal customer. They made it a point to HELP the customer instead of simply looking to just sell, sell, sell. Major kudos. Couldn’t recommend them more.

If there were an option to give zero stars, that would be a generous review of this dealership. I went in a week ago & test drive a 2009 Traverse. I had a 30 minute lunch break & they kept me there for an hour and a half trying to get me to agree to ridiculous prices. ($ 14k for my trade-​in when I am holding a copy of the auction value of my car which is $ 18k, please!!) So, after they didn’t entertain any reasonable offers I just assumed move on. The next day the Internet Sales guy calls me to try and make it work. I give an offer, he says he will present it & 2 days later hasn’t called me back. I call & he says «oh yah, our numbers were too far apart» (mmm-​hmmmm). I say «ok, based on the auction value of my trade, the value of the Traverse & the both of us meeting in the middle here is my final offer.»
Again, this Internet sales guy says he will present my offer. 2 days later, no call and the car shows up as SOLD on their website. So this, folks, is how they do business. No class, no courtesy calls to let you know whether they have considered your offer or not or if someone else is close to purchasing the same vehicle, and ridiculous pricing. They clearly don’t care about buyer retention here. Don’t waste your time going here, they are overpriced and very poor at commutation!
I was warned my many to stay away from any dealer on Route 44 in Raynham. Lesson learned!

After test driving a brand new SUV, they tried to tell me that 9% financing was the lowest I could get. They made me feel as if it was my own fault (from my credit)
A month later, I qualified for 1.9% financing at another dealership for a brand new car.
I will never trust McGee Chevrolet

I bought a Tahoe from McGee that came with free tires for the life of the vehicle. When I brought the Tahoe in for my tires they refused to honor the contract, even though I had the original ad and the original contract both showing free tires for life. BEWARE of these people.

This dealership is horrible! I want to purchase a vehicle and I can’t get the Salesman to call me back! I’ve left two messages and still no response (one week). Stay away!
