The coffee is excellent! The staff here are helpful and know how to make a great cup with a touch of class. Definitely a repeat place for me, given the eclectic location and the large number of regulars. This is a darn good cup of coffee! Thanks Benetti’s! Nicely done.

I have religiously been drinking their coffee ever since they opened many years ago! Ben really put his coffee expertise into play and the new owners kept it going. This coffee is so unique and nothing you’ll ever taste elsewhere. Hands down the best coffee in KC, even better than Broadway and oddly correct

I love small, inviting coffee shops and since this place had glowing reviews, I decided to try it. I was horribly disappointed that the man and woman behind the counter never even acknowledged us walking through the door… well, they looked at us and never smiled. It’s not like they were busy since they were just leaning against the counters presumably waiting for the next order. While the coffee was ok, the service was lacking. We had never been to this shop before and told the man behind the counter. He never welcomed us or offered an explanation of the coffee types even though there is a menu. He instead loudly drummed his fingers on the register while staring at us. The woman also blankly stared at us even when we offered a smile. I can only assume that as soon as we walked through the door, we must have grown horns that were extremely offensive. Thankfully we have a choice and we choose to never go back again. Good luck to anyone else who goes!

The coffee was good however the ham and cheese croissant was cold and greasy and the service was horrible. We did not feel welcome here at all, there was no smiling face or even a hello even after telling the individual behind the counter this was our first visit and we may take a few minutes. We received a cold look and nothing else. We certainly do not recommend this establishment. Very unfriendly place!

Made with passion, served with a smile and enjoyed in a warm and welcoming ambiance. Benetti’s is an island of perfection surrounded by a myriad of establishments serving sameness. They have me coming back time after time.

Some of the best coffee I’ve had around here! The staff is so friendly. We chatted with the staff and locals the whole time we were here. We’ll be back!

It’s my first time here, I order caramel mocha latte and I love it! Love the way they decorate. Had a ham and cheese croissant with our coffee and it hit the spot as well.

Not sure how I’ve lived in Raytown for 5 yrs and never been here. Went twice this week, had a quality breve both times. I’m very likely going to become a regular. Recommend.

Did I miss something that everyone else had? I had purchased the Benetti’s Bomber which was an espresso and drip coffee mix or something and it was good but not sure what was missing from my expectations. My girlfriend had gotten a frozen coffee drink that lacked coffee flavor of all things. Although unimpressed I’d like to try again, sometime. Next time I should probably stay indoors and probably not rush to work to actually enjoy this place, right? Hmm. Whatever the case may be everyone seems to be enjoying something I’m not noticing yet. Yikes! Sorry my Coffee-Runners!

Benetti’s is the best coffee shop in Raytown. I like how it’s a residence that has been remodeled nicely into a coffee house. This makes for a very nice atmosphere. The service is good. The coffee is ok, not my favorite, but pretty decent. Some people love it though so I’m careful what I say.

What can I say this place is awesome. Both the coffee and service are great. I’ve been here a couple dozen times, and every time is excellent. Their staff is well-trained in making some of the best coffee in Kansas City. The environment is nice; almost in a hipster-like way. They usually have some peaceful indie music playing and the energy is wonderful. One of my favorite things about Benetti’s is the payment processing system. It’s super easy and saves a ton of time. They usually have you out in five minutes or less if you’re on the run, even at their busiest times. I’d highly recommend stopping by if you’re nearby! The coffee and service is spectacular, and they are doing a lot of things right here.

My father used to own a coffee shop and I learned a lot about how coffee/espresso is supposed to be made and enjoyed. Starbucks and other lazy/non-educated places serve you what you think is good stuff but it’s really just a cheap substitute of the real thang. Long story short, the people here today blew my socks off. Not only did they serve espresso«ristretto» and roast their own beans but they were super friendly and willing to explain what things meant and why they do things their way. I would recommend this place to any age group from any corner of the globe.

Great coffee in a great settinng. Benetti’s has a nice and welcoming ambiance, and a very friendly staff. Great music selection as well. It also has two roomy outdoor areas. And the back area is smoker friendly. Also, there’s plenty of parking behind the building. The building is like a transformed house, on a quiet street(at least it was quiet Saturday morning), which made the back deck very appealing. The best coffee I’ve had in Raytown so far. They had a large variety of roasts(about 8), in addition to their teas, smoothies, etc. Small variety of food items(scones and cinnamon rolls), which was as good sign since, in my experience, food quantity and coffee quality seem to be inversely proportional. The location strikes a nice balance between Starbucks’ mediocre coffee hidden behind the whipped cream and flavored syrup and Oddly Correct’s purist approach.

I was browsing around in a search for a new coffee spot this weekend and for some reason Benetti’s never crossed my path until yesterday. Being that I only live a few miles away I decided to get out to get my work done at a local spot. Benetti’s is this small spot that looks like it could have been someone’s house converted into a coffee shop, that makes the inside very cozy. There is plenty of outside seating and although it looks small on the outside there is a lot of space once you make it in. I ordered the Hazlenut Iced Latte and my guest ordered the Irish-cream-mint Iced Latte. Both were very delicious and had this bold coffee taste that I love. What I love is that there are many unique Latte flavors to choose from outside of the typical choices. There was an abundant list of tea flavors as well. The owners were very knowledgeable as well. I’ll definitely be coming back and wish I had known about Benetti’s years ago! Better late than never as they say…

On my hunt for the best locally-owned coffee shop in town, I read about this place and knew I had to pay a visit. I actually missed the shop the first time I drove by as it looked like an ordinary house, but it is far from ordinary on the inside. Warm, inviting, comfortable setting. I believe that you gain loyalty not by making your customers feel like ‘consumers’ but by allowing them to feel like your guests. The verdict: WOW! My senses have been fully awakened by Benetti’s well-crafted limited edition AUTUMNHARVESTBREVE(even the name sounds like a winner), the first among many beverages I’ve tried here. This magical concoction –white chocolate, orange peels and fresh spices — had left a lasting impression on me. I drank to the last sip and still, I wanted more! The barista recommended it and even offered to make me a secondary beverage should I be disappointed with my order. I appreciated this gesture, but there was no need. Points for great service. The beautiful season of Fall is upon us — come celebrate it with a warm beverage, folks! Come have yourselves a ‘Benetti experience’.

I’m from California and have had the best of the best. Let me tell you, this place is like beyond compare to any of them. The ENTIRE staff is friendly. Its like being home. Teal lattes are the best. The blueberry yogurt ugh, amazing.

We visited on a hot July afternoon while on a shopping trip in KC. We needed refuge from the heat and a while to cool down and hit the pause button. Friendly & cozy, music choice was a bit odd, for a coffee shop.(John Cougar Mellencamp) The three stars are because this particular hot afternoon, I ordered an iced green tea. Coffee just wasn’t what my body was begging for. Sadly, the tea was brewed to the point of bitterness. No one else in my party had problems with their coffee drinks, so I imagine it was either my taste buds or a one time thing. I tend to not go for a «deep seep» with tea. I’d go here again and order something different, if the opportunity came up.

A year and a half after my first review and it’s time for an update. Of course Benetti’s Coffee Experience is still there — I think they’ll be around as long as they choose to be. It still seems to be an odd location though and I realize that I’m being snobbish when I say that(sorry). Benetti’s is a thoughtful, well-planned, well-executed, craft coffee and quality food kind of place. Raytown hasn’t ever been a community that would support many businesses that would have to rely so heavily on the appreciation of quality for it’s success. Yet Benetti’s hasn’t just hung on, they seem to be growing. Since I first visited, they’ve kept up on the interior décor, updating periodically just to keep things fresh. They’ve expanded their selection of beans but haven’t jumped the shark and tried to install a mini-market. The in-house coffee is still among the best in town. I haven’t tried their beans at home yet and I really don’t have an excuse. One note, the bag I checked out sounded amazing but at more than $ 21.00 a pound(in 12oz bags), it’s quite a splurge. I didn’t remember it always being that pricey but it’s possible. I just checked one bag but I assume they’re all priced the same. So, way to go Benetti’s, I’m glad to know you. Oh yeah, and the girl? We’re getting married next week.

Lo and behold, the day has come for me to change my original, angry 1 star review to a new, glowing 5 star review. Many people,(5 to be exact) whose coffee pallets I trust, have convinced me to patronize Benetti’s several more times. I can now say that Benetti’s is a true hidden gem in the city of Raytown. I can speak highly of their Traditional Cappuccino and their Double Macchiato. Several coffee shops in Kansas City will hand you a caramel smothered latte and try to convince you that it is a Macchiato. Benetti’s has impressed me the most by serving me a real Macchiato(the delicate, perfect proportion of espresso and foam) the way a Macchiato should be. The latte art is always impressive. I often sip a Cappuccino topped with a double heart Rosetta. I am hereby declaring that Benetti’s is a true shining star in the coffee industry. Their knowledgeable baristas and their dedication to roasting their own beans puts them on the top of my coffee list. Thank you for opening up your business in Raytown and providing us with excellent coffee.
