Outstanding pizza and wings. We sat at the bar and got great service and wonderful conversation with some locals. We will come back.

I have been looking for a new pizza place. I tried the North End Pizza and I thought it was pretty good. I decided to return and this time I had a panini sandwich. I was asked if I wanted fries or pasta salad. I hardly eat fries and I don’t care for olives which were in the Pasta salad. I asked for a side salad instead. To which the person rolled their eyes and said it would be an additional $ 3.00. When I opened the bag when I got home I couldn’t believe it, it was the smallest salad with the worst end of iceberg lettuce, one small slice tomato, one sliver of onion and pepper! What exactly cost three dollars here… I could have made this for .25 cents! Rip off! So disappointed! 1÷25÷16 Café Capri has contacted me and offered me a gift certificate. That is awesome customer service!

The hubby & I moved to Reading recently and this has been our go to pizza place. It is ALWAYS busy(which is a good sign). My new fave menu item is the toasted ravioli(pictured). paired with their red sauce, it’s a little piece of heaven. The hubby who is a pizza snob says this is the best pizza around. They have great subs, salads. We haven’t had a bad meal yet. The service has definitely gotten better, very attentive and warm. Parking can be tricky if you go during prime hours, we park at Burger King a lot. Enjoy!

Got spaghetti and meatballs with side of moldy broccoli for $ 18 in a pinch because kids were hungry. We had heard good things but probably won’t go back due to price and mold. 2 big meatballs(not that good) and linguine should be about $ 10, no?

I have been going to Capri for years. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a really nice bar that has a friendly crowd. The wait staff are all very nice and most of the time are very attentive but never had a complaint with any of them. The food is pretty good and the pizza is probably some of the best in town. Occasionally my family and I will order delivery and normally the food will arrive to the door a lot faster than they say, but sometimes can be slow during a busy night which is understandable. Overall Capri is much better than a lot of the pizza places in town. Never had a complaint with anything whether it be a sub, a dish, or a pizza. All great!

Nice looking g pizza Italian restaurant. Food is ok but not special. Calxone meat was chopped up. I have teeth so it was weird to me. Wife spilled some wine. Waitress brought another glass, she charged us for it but never came back with paper towels to wipe it up I went to men’s room to get towels. That type of service is unacceptable to me. I won’t go back

A hidden pizza gem in my opinion. I have been coming here for over 10 years, and the pizza has always been delicious. There hasn’t been a time that I have had a bad experience. The staff is always super friendly, too.

I have been going to Capri for over 15 years and the food is just as delicious as when I was a little kid. Best pizza hands down in my opinion and I love how they have not changed the ingredients after all these years. The staff is always so friendly as well. I will continue to be a customer for life. You rock Capri!

Café Capri is a very clean place, with a very friendly staff. The food is excellent. Had the steak tips with the homemade Capri BBQ sauce. They were mouth watering flavor. My wife had the angus beef swiss bacon burger, she said it was outstanding. There is plenty of parking with a nice atmosphere as well as many tv‘s so you cannot miss your favorite teams if they are playing. I recommend you try Café Capri you will not be disappointed.

Their pizza is good. The steak and cheese subs are just the right amount of cheese and steak. Their salads are great too. Delivery is fast and they’re very friendly.

I grew up eating at Capri as everyone else in Reading probably has. I remember this place being a lot better when I was younger. The quality of their food is pretty much the same but the service has dwindled and the prices have skyrocketed. My family has gone from eating here every Friday night to almost never.(Except for my dad; he loves their subs & paninis.) My past few dining experiences weren’t too good here. The waitresses I’ve gotten have all seemed pretty snobby. The last one I had was friendly but she messed up my friends pizza and got extremely confused when we asked for two separate bills. I actually ordered a Caprilicious pizza and had it delivered ty my house last weekend. It took 45 minutes to arrive, was lukewarm, & the cheese and toppings were everywhere else but on the pizza. I would have complained if I hadn’t been so hungry. I scraped the cheese from around the box and bam it still tasted good. I do like their pizza. It’s greasy and a little overpriced but they always load up on the toppings. Stick to the take out. The people at the counter are always nice. Especially the guy who’s always there around lunch time.

Not great but not terrible. You’re better off making that package of ramen noodles sitting in your cabinet.

I think I was there the night the salty wine lady was there. She sent her glass back three times insisting her wine was too salty. The bartender even opened up a new bottle for her but that wasn’t good enough. I think that lady’s taste buds are off. Pizza here is delicious. We have it as least once a week. Everything we’ve had a Capri has been great. Their marinara sauce is some of the best I’ve ever had. Their chipotle panini is a delight as well! We always sit at the bar when we go. Tracy is a wonderful bartender who makes delicious drinks. From Monday — Thursday, I believe it is from 4 – 8 they have half price appetizers at the bar, which is a great deal. Mozzarella sticks for like 4 bucks, unheard of! They give you about 10 too. I am a huge fan and will continue to go. You should check it out too.

Just passing through Route 28 and I didn’t want to eat McDonald’s, Burger King or Dunkin Donuts. I opted for a chicken wrap with a side of pasta salad. I walked in an there was NO one there during lunch time. Absolutely dead quiet. But, I thought to give it a try, anyway. Lady came up to the counter after a minute or so. My chicken wrap was done in 8 minutes. I was quoted 2. But, I’m sure that was just an exaggeration. Lady was nice, but don’t expect anything above and beyond. As for the taste test: it’s purely bland. There is no flavor or depth to this at all. Sorry guys, I don’t want to knock you down. This place looks really cool and fancy on the inside. I would hate for this place to fail sometime in the near future. I wish this place could be on Restaurant Impossible. This place needs help is all that I’m saying.

We decided to go a second time based upon the wonderful meal we had over a month ago. We went on a Friday night around 7:15. When we got to the hostess stand, we were told by someone behind the bar area that someone would be with us, shortly. We waited for about 5 minutes when the hostess came over and told us to wait just a minute. She followed another server(the funny one we had last time) into the bar area, then came back out, got the menus and had us follow her to the other side of the restaurant. She took us to the booth area. The ones that were open had duct tape on the seats, some more than others. She sat us at one with the lesser amount. Sitting 3 on one side and 2 on the other minimized who sat on the tape. We perused the menu and our waitress came over about 15 minutes later. By that time, we were ready to order. After placing our orders, she took the menus and left. She seemed to be a bit on the rough side, not sure if it was a bad day for her? We got our drinks except, for my husbands beer, which we had to ask for after 10 minutes or so. My son timed it and it took us 45 minutes for us to get our food. Bread came out quickly but it was tasteless and looked just like any other loaf of bread you could buy at the market. One kids plain pasta was fine. One large cheese pizza which tasted strange. I couldn’t identify the ingredients used, but it was like a bad combination of oregano and vinegar. I ordered the Panini Chicken Codder. It was grilled chicken breast with mushrooms, provolone cheese, spinach and thousand island dressing. It was disgusting. The bottom bun was soggy and the entire sandwich tasted like spinach. Nothing had it’s own taste. The onion rings I asked for were typical bagged, frozen, barely-any-onion-in-the-breading kind of rings. I didn’t finish the sandwich or the rings. My husband had a panini with a some kind of roast beef/cheese steak and he said it wasn’t great. We aren’t sure what happened here. Our first experience as wonderful, although we noticed the décor needed to be fixed and cleaned(dirty mirrors, water stained ceiling tiles) but this one? Our hostess was bordering on rude, seemed harried, our food was awful. I wonder if it changed owners in the last month or something. It will be a long time before we ever go back here and spend money. I jokingly said that maybe RESTAURANTIMPOSSIBLE should look at this place…
