Dunkin’ Donuts

This DD is within 2 minutes of my house, so it’s the one I go to most often. Generally speaking, if you go in the morning you’re fine. They seem to be fast, efficient, and I can’t remember the last time they got my order wrong. The morning shift is great!
HOWEVER.
If you choose to stop here in the afternoon it’s likely you’ll have a frustrating experience. Different staff and they are somewhat rude, loud, impersonal, and seem to have difficulties with today’s basic technology. You may be OK if you order a bottle of water or a diet coke but if you have 2 – 3 or more items then you had better be ready to check your order carefully.
I speak well. Fluent and clearly. No one I speak with claims they can not understand me. Yet here I consistently must repeat my order in the afternoon and even then they are likely to have you repeat your order and can STILL screw it up.
If you order iced TEA, be sure that they understand it’s TEA, not COFFEE. I don’t think I should have to sample what I just purchased BEFORE I drive off. Do they really think I would have asked for lemon in an iced COFFEE? Perhaps some people do; I do not.
Also, they should put away the tip jar in the afternoon. The tip jar says something like «For Outstanding Service». Perhaps they just like having an empty tip jar sitting around. I pay the exact amount with a credit card so they’re getting no tip.

This dunkin location is terrible!!! There is one 3 minutes right down the street from this one. Go there instead! If you’re just stopping in for a hot coffee you may be ok, but if you dare to purchase any donuts, your wasting your money. I don’t know what they are doing wrong but their donuts taste so old and this is not just one bad experience it is every time i’ve gone here. Both munchkins and large donuts all are horrible and have an indescribable taste.
