If you like a bar with a personal touch, you will love this place. Food is all what you would expect from a dive bar, and there is a personality that you can’t find many places. The owners are behind the bar most of the time and show their dedication to their customers.

Reading, PA
The Forest Inn appears a bit seedy from its exterior. Maybe that is because it IS a bit seedy. But in a good way. This tavern features dogs and burgers being grilled so that everyone who passes by can see them. Mmmmm.
The bar is old-​fashioned and usually filled with a wide variety of characters. Thankfully, most are quite friendly.
The back room was recently redone and is now quite civilized — a new mural and many TVs adorn the walls — not a bad spot to watch a game and only a few yards from more grub.
This is a very old building that no doubt could tell some amazing tales. Worth your visit and patronage especially if you are in the mood for a Coney Island dog or three.
