I have eaten here several times and have always been very pleased, with their Delicious food, and lovely presentation of it. The service is Excellent, it has soft music in background and not your usual Loud breakfast place. A Hidden Gem, in Reading Center

Moved into Reading 6 months ago and immediately started trying breakfast places. my wife, daughter and I have tried everything in town and Fusion is hands down our favorite. Great pancakes and waffles(coming from a pancake snob). Quality food, very friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Had a good sandwich for lunch as well. Highly recommended.

We go here on the weekends for breakfast and the food is great! Service is always attentive and they’ve just added fresh juice blends to their menu… enjoy!

I love coming here for a simple and delicious breakfast with my hubby! It’s extremely moderately priced, has a great assortment of food and coffee drinks, and is just quiet and charming. I would recommend it a thousand times!

Went there for lunch about a month ago. We waited forever to get our food(2 sandwiches & a salad). Nothing was good. The server was new but not well trained. The food was pretty bad — bbq was scary.

Best breakfast around. The service is absolutely amazing. Way better than Christopher’s across the street. Love this place.

Cannot rate the food. After waiting for 15 minutes to get coffee and another 15 to order, then seeing no sign of food for another 15 minutes, we left. During the time that we were there, two other parties left, too. Sad, owner seems like a nice guy, just cannot be run efficiently by two people.

Placed a takeout order. After half an hour wait I checked in at the register. I was told that the person who took the order never pushed it through the system and I have to wait even longer. I asked to expedite it but was told that they can’t do it. Did not get an apology either. This place has the worst service I’ve ever seen. On a bright side, the caramelized banana crepes are to die for! Other observations while I waited for my food: — Customers on few occasions walked to the register /bar area to ask for /pay their bill. I guess they got pissed waiting for someone to check on them. — Huge mess at the entrance. Parties were seated out of order. There is no list which caused frustration with many.

After reading the great reviews I decided to give this local spot a shot. I went in this morning around 10AM for breakfast, regretfully I was one of the only patrons in the place. In order for Reading down town area to be vibrant and to continue to grow we need continue to support the smaller independent businesses. The food was more than acceptable and it was a warm and inviting space. The waiter was Fine as well as the service. I will definitely dine here again.

Ordered steak and eggs. Potatoes tasted off to me. Steak heavily over seasoned. Service was also inattentive. Nope, not coming here again.

Good food and wonderful service. Must try the honey cinnamon latte. Tried both the eggs florentine and the banana pancakes. Both meals were delicious. Alba was our server and she was very friendly and quick. Will go back if I am ever in town again.

I had a great late breakfast! Split eggs florentine and caramelized banana pancakes. Both were delicious. Our waitress, Alba was charming and efficient. Will definitely return when I am in the area.

So based on the recent reviews, I decided to take out the family for brunch on a late Sunday morning before seeing a movie. We got seated right away so it started well. We placed our order for drinks and then proceeded to wait and wait and wait. After we ordered our drinks, it wasn’t exactly attentive service. The waitresses were talking more to an apparent friend who was dining at the same time as us. Getting more water or coffee wasn’t exactly easy or as automatic as it could have been. The food however was good overall so that is a plus. Not excellent but good. I get using the local high school students which is great but they should be supported to ensure that service is decent.

As another Unilocaler noted, the scallop appetizer had one of the best sauces I have ever tasted and the scallops were perfectly prepared. If not for a Living Social offer, I would have never known about this fantastic restaurant. The menu was diverse. I had great steak tacos that were not only delicious, but had a beautiful presentation with nice chunks of avocado. My boyfriend had an Italian inspired lemon chicken. The chicken was tender and the pasta was perfectly cooked. He loved the lemon butter sauce. Our young waitress, Alba, was pleasant and accommodating. Fusion should have been packed on a Friday night, and as another diner noted, perhaps this is due to the lack of a liquor license. Don’t let this stop you from checking out what I think may be the best, inexpensive restaurant in the Wakefield/Stoneham/Reading area. Hopefully they will eventually get a beer and wine license.

I was unaware until recently that this café had started serving a dinner menu. Nice atmosphere, good service, a grown-up upgrade to the look. I had a seared scallop appetizer that was a good as it gets. Chef Neil really knows how to get it done. The artichoke chicken and calamari were also right up at the top. But the scallops… if they ran out of bread I would have sopped that sauce up with my business card! Definitely a do-again!

Saw a Living Social deal for this restaurant that’s not far from home, so decided to try them out. We went for an early dinner, so it was fairly quiet, allowing the staff to tend to our every need! Service was pleasant & prompt. Food was good, and the price very reasonable. My only gripe would be that I paid in cash, and the waitress gave me change in large bills, so I ended up significantly over-tipping(25+%) instead of asking her to further break down the bills.

Maybe the breakfast is better because the lunch was so strangely bland. My husband and I had paninis, which we thought were going to be on a Panini press, but they were just sandwiches. I got chicken, mozzarella, and pesto and the pesto had no flavor, the sandwich basically had no flavor, my husband also got mozzarella, tomato and onion Panini, with a balsamic glaze, but there was no balsamic glaze on it so they brought it on the side and the balsamic was not a glaze it was just regular balsamic vinegar and it had no taste either. My five-year-old son got pancakes and they were still raw in some parts on the inside. Lastly we ordered a fresh fruit bowl for almost $ 5, and it was frozen fruit, also with no taste. We won’t be going back. Oh, and the coffee was blah too.

Had the«Grilled Rib Eye Steak» and it was nothing short of delicious! Really well cooked to the temperature of my choice(medium). Almost Melted in my mouth! A must if you are searching for a nice comfortable dinner in the Reading area. The fondant potato’s were really good as well to compliment the dish along with haricot verts. The waitress and owner were very attentive making a very comfortable experience, including nice music playing through the dinning room. Would really recommend this place, look forward to visiting soon:)

We had brunch here and enjoyed it very much. The eggs Benedict with corned beef hash were very good. The servers were very attentive, offering hot coffee throughput our brunch. Nice variety of choices on the menu. We would look forward to going back here. They plan on opening for dinner on Jan. 26, 2015 and we will try that out as well. Worth a trip!
