Joe’s Place

It’s seriously not possible to give a place a 0-​star rating? Because that’s sure as hell what this place deserves. Talk about a terrible, disgusting, unsanitary night out.
My buddy and I went out to Joe’s for his 21^st birthday. Thinking we’d have a good time — since everyone in the area raves about this spot — we entered the dark abyss that is Joe’s Place on Kutztown Road. The place was so dimly lit, it was nearly impossible to see the bartender. As I looked around, I noticed nothing but people I went to high school with who dropped out because they had children or just didn’t feel like doing anything in high school.
The prices of drinks and bar food are reasonable, but the quality of the atmosphere is piss poor.
Maybe it’s a personal vendetta that I’m holding on these people, but I will never ever touch Joe’s again.

Stopped here on a recent trip to the parent’s house. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are filling! The wings were very yummy and they have a good variety of sauces! I had the ranch and garlic sauces and both were very good. I also recommend the french onion soup. I thought it was interesting that a bar had it, so figured I would give it a whirl (just be careful it’s not too hot when you eat it… I burned my entire mouth on it. whoops!).
