The Reading Express is an Arena Football team that has been in Reading for a few years. They play at the Sovereign Center in downtown Reading. The name of the Express relates to the Railroad of the same name so the loco includes an old style locomotive.
I believe Reading just switched leagues and now has a regional rival just up the road in the Lehigh Valley.
I’ve seen the team play a couple of times and they always put on a great game. Because it’s a limited field compared to outdoor football, you are guaranteed to have a high scoring game.
It’s great to see Reading with all these pro sports teams.
