Wawa

My go-​to joint for free air! If you need to fill your tires (and admit it, you probably do and you’ve been pushing it off for weeks now), look no further than your closest Wawa.
The worst is when someone parks in the free air spot with no intention of using air. That’s just bad etiquette.
If you have to go inside, get a made-​to-​order sandwich and check out the soups of the day. If it’s corn chowder, order a bowl — you’ll thank me later.
Oh, and how could I not mention the PNC ATMs? No ridiculous service charges! Even if you aren’t a PNC customer, PNC ATMs don’t charge you any money to get YOUR money. Every Wawa is equipped with one.
Pro Tip: Don’t make a left into this Wawa from Lancaster Pike (i.e. the left turn only lane). Cops stake out in the Wawa parking lot and may give you a ticket for this infraction. So heads up!

I have a confession. I love Wawa. This has to be the best convenience store chain in the world. We have nothing like Wawa in NC and I think they would make a killing if they came down south.
They have cheap gas and modern pumps. The store itself is huge with all the normal convenience items but their food is wonderful here and people know it. This place was really busy when I was in.
The place is at a busy corner at Lancaster Ave and Museum road on the site of the old Shillington Farmers Market and across the street from a Blockbuster I used to work at (many years ago). Very convenient location and relatively easy to get in and out of.
