Uncle Bob’s Self Storage

Let’s be honest: moving is not fun. Being away from all of your belongings is not an adventure, and while I am wishing I really didn’t know about self-​storage right now, since I do, I am glad it is Uncle Bob’s.
On really short notice, I started looking around at the self-​storage options after getting screwed over by Door-​to-​Door storage. I found Uncle Bob’s because I wanted somewhere that allowed me to just drive-​up. I believe they have some smaller interior spaces which are great if you are just storing some smaller things, but I have my entire apartment there, and I am NOT schlepping up and down stairs.
I looked online, saw what they had, and even reserved online. I gave a call first thing the next morning, had a nice chat with Mike and went in a couple of hours later. I looked at both the 10×10 and 10×15 units, and went with the 10×15 (when in doubt, go larger).
Mike is AWESOME. Seriously, he is the man. I had a little snafu on my move-​in day, but he called me later to make sure all was OK (it was) and whenever I see him (I’ve been back a lot) he is always smiling, waves from the office, or is running around helping someone. It’s a busy place!
Best prices I found — and I spent a lot of time looking at various websites — and conveniently located to the Westwood/​Dedham/​Route 128 area.
