Dr. Curtis does a nice job. I’d give 4 stars for her. But unfortunately her optician does a poor job. My wife and I have both had issues with our eyeglasses after receiving them. And I’m not talking simply a poor fit, but the progressive lenses had too narrow of a field. The optician blamed it on the new «digital» type lenses. I’ve worn progressive lenses for 15+ years. Never had this problem. I prefer the convenience of getting my eyes checked and prescriptions filled at the same location. So I doubt if I will be returning to Dr. Curtis.

Kindest optometrist I’ve ever seen! Seems to be truly passionate about her practice and shows great care for her patients. I saw her in 2011 (when I still had insurance) and was impressed that she gave me multiple appointments to make sure my eye health was optimal before suggesting different contact lens brands for my always-​dry eyes. Friendly staff, too.

Seriously you charge almost double the price of an eye exam than any other vision center in town? That must be one hell of an eye exam. Oh wait, it probably is the same basic exam everyone gives. Fail for your greed alone.

Wonderful, caring doctor! She listens to all concerns without judgment and explains diagnoses clearly. Not alot of wait time, and staff are super nice as well. Also will get you in for emergencies in a jiffy.

I’ve been going here since about 15 years ago when the optometrist was Dr. Johnston, who has since retired, with Dr. Curtis now in charge. Like others said, it’s a friendly, clean, professional place, with quick turnaround on contacts/​glasses and timely service. A totally comfortable experience all around. I would suggest to anyone.

Everyone here is quite friendly and professional. Dr. Curtis takes the right amount of time to diagnose you and is very knowledgable. I highly recommend giving Dr. Curtis a try!

Just yesterday my husband and I had eye exams with Dr. Curtis, and were thrilled with everything. Dr. Curtis is kind, caring, thorough, knowledgeable, and answers your questions great. I just moved to New Jersey and am so excited that my first attempt at finding an eye doctor was so successful. My sister-​in-​law also went here, and loved it too. I have prism, which is difficult to prescribe, and I’m really happy with the results. The office has a perfect selection of glasses – there is a wide variety, but it’s not completely overwhelming where it’s difficult to make a decision. The optician was also helpful! The location in Red Bank is great too, and the office is very clean. I highly recommend!
