This is one of the many locations that I have experienced with this restaurant. Every location I have had a great experience. This one in particular is beautiful inside, open and spacious. The servers are all male-Italians and they do actually speak Italian. The food was delicious! The pizza was fantastic! As was all the pasta dishes.

Upon reading some of the prior reviews I feel like this place it hit or miss. We had a reservation for 6 people at 8pm on a Saturday night. Place was MOBBED when we got there at 8 on the dot. We proceeded to wait another hour and a half(yes 90 minutes) for our table. We would have left, but we checked in with the hostess twice and she said we were the next party of 6 on the list, which was a big lie, as we watched at least 3 parties of 6 get seated before us. A friend of ours, who just happened to be there with an 8:30 reservation(party of 10) was seated before us. He told us later that he slipped someone a $ 50 to be seated. I guess that’s the way the world works, but I find it to be shady and inappropriate. Once we did sit, the food was very good, and there was plenty. But there are lots of places with great food that honor their reservations and treat you with more respect. In reading a lot of these reviews I see I’m not the only one who has had trouble with waiting a long time despite making a reservation. SOWHYTAKERESERVATIONS??? Honestly, if we didn’t have a reservation and we were told it would be an hour wait, we may have chosen to wait, and I would have easily given more than 2 stars. But to wait an hour and a half with a reservation while people buy their way to the head of the line will keep me from going back there.

I can’t believe a place even exists in New Jersey. Booked this place the last minute and waited outside for about 25 mins but there were a lot of people waiting too. The server’s name was Vinny and he was very accommodating just like an old fashion Italian place in Brooklyn it little Italy which I have been in both places. We ordered appetizers like fresh mozzarella, baked clams, prosciutto, soup, salad and a bunch of stuff and everything was fantastic. We opted to order something off the menu like a seafood pasta dish hut was told the kitchen was backed up and cannot do a custom dish but later the head staff came over and asked if it was ok to do a large dish to share instead of individual seafood dish and we were ok with that. Anyway the food came and the dinner was fantastic. My gf ordered the pasta with beef bolognese sauce but for some reason it came out a bit dry. Overall the atmosphere was great, upbeat with music and patrons participation of other people’s bday celebration. We will definitely come back.

Possibly one of my favorite restaurants. They have great food, great service, overall just an amazing atmosphere. We paid the $ 55 a person for«family style» and left so full and with so many leftovers. There were only four of us and six of us at least could of eaten the food. If you like true Italian food this is certainly a place to try! I can’t really say for sure what my favorite part was, but I might have to say the desserts! Incredible!

Got there 530 on a Sat night. No one there to greet our party of four, so we walked into the restaurant and stood there for about 5 mins until someone finally came over to seat us. After we were seated it took another 10 minutes for a waiter to appear and bring us a menu. After another 15 minutes go by and we’re getting ready to leave another waiter came over and took our order. Place was only ½ full so it wasn’t like they were swamped as the staff talked amongst themselves. To top it off once we did get our food, as we were eating another guy came over and asked if he could move our table over so he could jam another one in right next to us that no one say at. Overall food was ok, but customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Had our Christmas party here last night and the food was really good except for he lobster which we paid an extra 10 $ per person for. Although the platter was full of lobster there was hardly any meat in the shells. The body of the lobster was breadcrumbs, no tails, 2 claws and a couple of other pieces with a bit of meat. I would skip this as it was totally worthless. Otherwise a pretty yummy place!

Are you in the mood for a romantic Italian dinner to celebrate a special occasion or to just(finally) have some quiet alone time with that special someone in your life? Candles, soft light, a nice bottle of Sangiovese or Pino Grigio, quiet music in the background, perhaps the sound of a mandolin or Andrea Bocelli gently carrying the melody to your table where you stare longingly into the eyes of your companion. Well, if that’s what you are in the mood for, let me tell you Pisan, you ain’t gonna find nuthin’ like that at Pitrizia’s. Waddya, fuggin kiddin’ me? BUT, some Saturday night when you are looking for a restaurant that offers great service, exceptional food with equally entertaining people watching in an ambiance that feels like you are in the middle of a dozen ongoing Italian family reunions, then this is the place for. Rarely will you have as much fun dining out. With restaurants in Staten Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and now Red Bank, Patrizia’s has mastered the art of serving Italian food and culture with flair in markets already saturated with Italian restaurants. The food is uniformly excellent and the portions are«abbondanza.» You won’t leave hungry or disappointed. The service is, perhaps, overly prompt with the bus boys taking your plate away just as soon as you appear to be done. The wait staff is uniformly atired in black golf shirts, with«Patrizia’s» stenciled in white script over the left breast AND an Italian flag patch on the right shirt sleeve. Helpful if you just dropped in from Mars, but a fabulous touch. There are two upstairs areas on either end of the dining area for large parties. It’s not surprising to see very large parties walking through the dining area with cases, yes cases, of wine. It gets loud and stays loud very quickly there. My decibel meter hovered between 90 – 95 most of the evening, But when there is a birthday celebration(and there were five of them while we dined) it shot up to between 112– 115. EVERYBODY sings and waves their napkins over their heads. So when you go, and you should definitely go, arrive with your whole party because they don’t seat partial parties. But if you have to wait, you won’t be at loss for entertainment. You might be witness, as I was fortunate enough to be, to see some gidrul trying trying to pick up the attractive hostess. «Hey. How yuz doin? Ain’t I seen you on TV? No, seriously. I know I seen you on TV. Maybe one of those „Housewives“ shows or sumpin?» Smooth. So smooth.

Another delicious meal at Patrizia’s! Had a delicious Sunday dinner with My family. I always recommend making a reservation at Patrizia’s since it’s a busy restaurant. Staff is amazing and the food is outrageous. I love the new specials they always have, keeps me returning! The shrimp Christina is outrageous, get over to Patrizia’s to try this great dish!

I liked this place until we had to wait for 2 hours to get our dinner. The server’s response when asked when our food was coming out was that he did not know and was sorry. We had a table of 20 so we thought that was a pretty bad answer. This was for the Red Bank tree lighting that we ended up missing. We won’t be back. People drove from Philadelphia to see the Holiday Express and actually had to leave to head back since we had to wait so long.

Had a bridal shower for my daughter on Sunday Nov 22nd There were 65 people in the upstairs dining area The food and service were beyond amazing. From the start Lou took care of us He served coffee to all the guests that arrived early From that point on all went smoothly Every course was served, cleared and onto the next I can only hope our wedding in March goes as well Also we had Stefania do custom cupcakes My guests were raving about Patrizia and they told me they can’t wait to come back with their friends and family When Lou said to trust him… he was true to his word !!!

Never again. We had 17 people the bill would have been $ 1100 after tip and tax, if we would have stayed. But after a hour wait with a reservation we decided not to stay. Thanks for the free pizza to help us think the wait wasn’t so bad.

When I go to an Italian restaurant, I want to feel like I am crossing the Atlantic and ended up in Italy. The food and the staff are authentic Italian. Great food, lots of great flavors, original dishes and great atmosphere. A win all around.

Last night I celebrated my birthday with A party of 10. The staff did everything to make me a happy girl, even though it was a very busy Saturday night with many other birthdays. The food was very good a wonderful addition to Red Bank. Good for large or small groups. A little noisy on the weekends, but that is to be expected and makes it more lively and fun. It’s also BYOB so its not very expensive, and the pasta was homemade and very fresh. Five stars.

Freshest Italian food I’ve had in a while. My waiter was okay he was a bit cold and kind of forgot about our table. But the food itself was absolutely amazing! Would definitely recommend it!

Awesome restaurant for parties. They have an upstairs that’s gorgeous and perfect for private parties. We just went for a graduation dinner the other night and got family style food served. There was so much food it was great. I was so full but just kept eating because it was so delicious. Their seafood is really great. I have ordered the octupus appetizer multiple times and it’s always amazing. During the party we got a seafood platter with lobster, shrimp, and squid and it was seriously amazing. I love seafood and some places in the area can really mess it up but patritizas always cooks it perfectly and really does it right. It was also byob and patrizias supplied a whole display table and ice and actually made it look nice instead of just coolers of alcohol.

BYOB They offer free red wine, white wine and Sangria Seated at 830 for a 8pm reservation for 8 6 of us elected for the $ 55 family style 2 elected to order ala carte I thought the food was excellent Honestly we had a few big hitters at our table and we remarked that we would have liked more food. I may get the order wrong but here is the basic breakdown Bread on the table… not Italian bread. Reminded me of pita chips, olive oil with spices. Small piece of eggplant, fried eggplant circle with tomato sauce, mozzarella and grated cheese… Their spin on eggplant parmigiana. …very good wanted another piece One small piece of burrata each with pickled vegetables, very good but small. Seafood salad Frutta dimare calamari shrimp and pulpo well prepared in lemon juice olive oil and garlic. Fried calamari excellent, good size portion Baked clams, excellent everyone got between 2 and 3 clams. One small pizza it was ok, needed another 2 minutes in the oven. Lobster clams and mussels in a breadcrumb oil and garlic sauce, very good nice sized portion. No lobster tail(grrrr) but there were 4 nice sized claws Grilled octopus, very good. Skirt steak and grilled baby lamb chops… outstanding Did need salt and pepper but the temperature was perfect. Pasta was the beggars purse stuffed with ricotta Excellent and filling. Dessert, Tiramissu, nutella pizza and some type of crème cake. Coffee expresso and cappuccino was included. All in all the food was excellent and we’ll prepared Service was hit or miss, there were times where we waited quite a while for things… they did accommodate us when we asked for more steak and lamb, we asked for more eggplant… never came out. The sangria was ok, but clearly watered down. The soda mix was very good as was the water on the table. The restaurant is loud, not a spot for a romantic dinner for 2 but if you are with a crowd and drinking it’s a fun place to be. The bill with tax and tip came out to $ 75 a person.
