I came in here on a recommendation and went to the bar. Heather was very knowledgable and polite, gave us great service and was professional while personable. I would definitely recommend pazzo– the bolognese was great!

Overall, this is a solid spot with a nice atmosphere. They’re happy to accommodate bigger groups and anytime I’ve been here, it’s never too crowded or busy which I prefer when going out to eat. The food is great but sometimes the service can be slower than preferred.

Food was good. Service was poor. Waiter never came over and introduced herself. A coworker took our order. They didn’t ask if we needed refills or how the food was. For the price they need to improve the service.

Banging Chicken Marsala. The Piccata is also really good, but Marsala is better. Fried goat cheese salad was also great, although I wish there had been a second medallion since my friend and I were sharing. Very nice ambience. We sat in the front area that’s open air in the summer, but was enclosed since it’s January. It was very warm in there, perhaps a little too warm. My slightly dirty martini was perfect. The server brought extra olive brine on the side, which was a very nice gesture, although it ended up not being necessary. I’ve also been to their happy hour at the bar, which has great apps that I believe are only available there and not in the dining room. Meatballs and some kind of eggplant Parmesan bruschetta thing are the best choices. Solid experience overall.

We had been here before and loved it(and gave it 4 stars here), so we booked a table for three at 6:00, before an 8:00PM show at the Count Basie. The wine came promptly, but the Antipasto caldi took about 25 minutes — although it was delicious. By some kind of snafu, we had still not gotten our dinners by 7:40, so we went to our show without eating. Management has since apologized and invited us back, so I’m willing to give Pazzo another try. Stay tuned for a follow-up review.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in red bank. The bolognese is one of the best I have ever had. Go Monday’s it’s half off all pasta dishes

Have been several times. Went tonight it was just ok. Nothing to rush back for. So so service and just nothing special… Plus is free parking deck right next door.

My friend and I were so excited to come here because of the delicious menu. Until, we got seated by the host, who sat us in the middle of the restaurant next to people we could basically eat with. The waitress came over to us twice. She took our order and give us the check. She did not ask how our food was either, which was rude. The food is alright, kind of bland. The mussels were excellent, but the linguine and calms were very bland, needed some type of seasoning.

Love this place! Sat at the bar with a bunch of friends on a Saturday night. We shared pizza-the bee sting was a stand out – and a few appetizers. The staff was super friendly and the bartender was very knowledgable about the beer list– which featured one of my favorite local brewers, Carton. I will definitely back to try more of the food and for the beer of course.

We had reservations and arrived a little early to an almost empty restaurant. 1st offered us a table next to the kitchen. Refused that table so they seated us on the side next to a wall Then we had to wait what seemed like a long time for our water and bread. Then had to wait for our waiter to appear Ordered veal parm. Nice size portion but tasteless and dry. Someone ordered salmon was just okay Restaurant is attractive and clean Would not return.

This place is good just nothing ever blew me away. Everything I had here on the several occasions I went was good. All the seafood is decent the halibut probably being their best dish. The chicken dishes are a good size and also decent. Their salad specials have been very good and also if they have the peanut butter chocolate chip cheesecake special definitely get it! Now that was amazing and worth coming back for! They also have this amazing gelato ice cream tower that is also delicious!

I had the prix fix menu and it was fantastic food. Good service. I can’t wait to go back and try some other items on the menu.

Finally tried this restaurant after passing by for years. The restaurant my family and I wanted to go to was booked, so we decided to come hear instead. Pazzo is definitely on the pricier side of restaurants. My mom and I had the chicken saltimboca and it was good, nothing special. It was served with mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. The spinach had an overwhelming amount of garlic, and I could taste it for the rest of the evening. My stepdad got pasta bologneses which he seemed to like. The highlights of the meal were definitely the bread and olive oil, which was very high quality; as well as a salad I ordered with garganzola, apples, and onions. I haven’t tried the pizza, so can’t say anything about that. Wouldn’t rush back. Just average from my experience.

Didn’t expect this place to be so big, and packed on a Friday at 6pm. Had to be the best service I ever had. Unlike 95% of restaurants, Pazzo employees work as a team. I barely had to ask for anything, they were extremely attentive. The food was really good. I had the pasta funghi, Wife had a dish that she saw online but wasn’t on the menu and they made it anyway(big plus), and my mom had a chicken/prosciutto/marscapone cheese dish. We all were very happy with our dishes, they were delicious. The dessert was ok, we got the 3 canoles, they were supposed to be pistachio, cherry and chocolate, but were all canole flavored filling with the flavored topping. I wont take a star off because of that though. Also took a meatball pizza to go that was also delicious. Overall 10⁄10. Will definitely be returning!

Pazzo MMX was always on my list to try but it never happened for some reason. However, I went for after work drinks and I was impressed with the bar food that I wanted to try eating a full meal. I have found that few Italian restaurants really do pasta well. Not sure what the issue is but I have been disappointed more often than not and Pazzo MMX continued the tradition. I need to learn to stay with soup, salad and pizza. There are other options in the Red Bank area so I will probably not be back soon unless for an after work get together.

The food is good when it’s hot but it takes a really long time to come. Overall everything else is good! We sat at the bar to avoid an hour wait which works for us, were easy. It just seemed like the 2 female bartenders were not fully paying attention to customers. It wasn’t the worst though because my boyfriend and I were relaxing. Love the half price pizza and pasta on Monday nights.

Bad. Tasteless. Don’t do it! Don’t be misled by the fact that the place looks nice and is busy. The food is not good and is not worth the price. I had the pasta bolognese which was flavorless. My mate had the linguine with clams which was also a step below mediocre. And, to top it off there was an odor of cleaning fluid in the main dining room.

Nice atmosphere, excellent service, extensive wine & cocktail list, big menu with some really good items. Plenty of free parking in the garage next door a major plus for Red Bank. We were a party of 8 so we had a lot of different dishes that I can comment on. The appetizers/salads were very good. Both the Caesar Salad and the Iceberg Wedge were excellent choices as was the lemon flavored chicken wings. Each of those salads could be shared by 2 people. The soft shell crab appetizer didn’t make it to my end of the table, but from a distance looked like a very nice dish. It didn’t seem like anybody was totally blown away by their main courses. My halibut was a very nice piece of fish but the sauce was not particularly flavorful. The consensus was the main courses ranged from good to very good but no one said their dish was great. No one complained either. So all in all, I would have to say the mains were in the 3.5 range. Portions were nice sized too. The pork chops and the bone in chicken parm, as well as my wife’s pasta special with lobster were all nicely presented. For dessert, I sampled 3 different flavors of gelato; hazelnut, pistachio, and chocolate. All were rich & creamy, and full of flavor. Not cheap at about $ 150 per couple with tip and tax but we did have drinks and ordered a lot of food.

Had dinner here on a Friday night. Was told when we arrived that it was a 15 minute wait. We went to the bar and about 40 minutes later checked in at the front to find out where we were on the list. I also told the woman I wanted to make sure she had the right number but instead of checking the number I was told we were up next. They text you when your table is ready. So I went back into the bar area. Another 20 minutes later we are ready to leave so we walk to the front and are told that they texted us 20 minutes ago. Unfortunately no one thought to check in he bar even though there were 3 girls at the desk. They claimed they had the wrong number. Once seated our waitress, who was very nice, offered us a round of drinks on the restaurant. Unfortunately I was driving and already had my limit at the bar while waiting. I ordered a bottle of pellegrino water and instead of taking that off the bill they only took off one of the drinks my companion ordered. We ordered fried calamari and a stuffed artichoke to start. The artichoke was good. The calamari was a bit greasy. I ordered the chicken piccata for dinner. It was quite tasty. My companion ordered the pappardelle bolognese. It was reported to be very good. The food here is good but the atmosphere gets crazy with the large parties and the lack of follow up in trying to find us just around the corner in the bar after just checking in was very disappointing.
