Came here last night for a late dinner(30 mins before closing) and was fairly happy with the food. I ordered the Pad Thai with beef, summer roll, and black rice with coconut milk as a dessert. The summer roll had three pieces of shrimp in each roll, lettuce, and rice noodles accompany by peanut sauce. The roll was wrapped in a soft rice wrap and they did not appear to skim on the ingredients at all. There was a fair proportions of rice noodles, shrimp, and lettuce. The only complaint I have is that the rolls were not tightly wrapped and fell apart when I dipped it into the sauce. In addition, the rolls came out warm and should have been cool. I gave it a benefit of a doubt because we DID come here 30 mins before closing. In addition, I ordered the beef Pad Thai which was phenomenal. The dish had thick slices of beef with perfectly seasoned noodles served with a garnish of chopped peanuts. It was quite satisfying and worthy coming back for. Lastly, I ordered the black rice with coconut milk which was very disappointing as it was nothing compared to the picture. The image showed a glob of black rice with drizzle of coconut cream while we got a hot bowl of black rice soup that had uneven temperature with coconut cream. The rice lacked the typical sweetness of black rice and the coconut cream was a sad puddle of melted depression sitting in the hot bowl. Ugh! Overall, summer roll = eh. Pad Thai = yes! Black rice with coconut cream = no.

I worked nearby and sometimes come here for lunch with some colleagues. The one and most annoying problem is the service speed. Phở Le is really slow… If any one of us have a meeting at 1pm, we’ll avoid coming to Phở Le because usually we’ll need to wait for at least half hour for food, which shouldn’t take that long especially when all of us ordered phở… However, the food is great. I’ll give it all five stars if it can serve faster…

Everything was fresh, unique and delicious! It’s a very casual atmosphere and the portions were pretty big. For example, a soup is large enough to be a meal. If you are an adventurous eater and you like new things, you will love it here.

This place was not impressive. I understand that there are not a lot of good Vietnamese restaurants in this part of NJ, but I figured a place in Red Bank, which is often packed with people would be better tasting. I had their Seafood Phở and the portion was small for the price and the noodles were undercooked. Instead of beef, they used sliced pork in the broth and the meat tasted very rubbery and was smelly. I may return to try different dishes but I don’t think I am getting their phở in the future.

I came to this place hoping to get a taste of home since I travel for work. First of all it took almost 30 min to get our order in(4 bowls of Phở) and it was not even that busy. Second of all, the Phở was not as satisfying as the wait had me anticipating. And thirdly, we came in with a group of 4 and we were charged an automatic gratuity of %18 on the tab. I’ve traveled around a lot in the US and automatic gratuity is usually done with a group of 6 or more. The waitress was nice however, so that adds the second star.

First thing i noticed while at the shore was the lack of Phở restaurants around this area and was happy to be able to calm my crave when i found this place. I noticed the place was quite small and on a street that is often easily missed, but i found it! Detour aside, the service was decent, visited in the afternoon and the location was not busy and quite quiet. Ordered Beef Phở, price was higher then in the city but expected, and portion were also smaller. Overall the broth tasted good and the service was great, portion size kinda was too small to fill up unfortunately. Give this place a try, don’t miss it!

The food was just ok. The lunch is a bit pricey. The service was terrible and weird. They were unwelcoming. The lady that works there was constantly worrying my kids would spill something. After ordering drinks, our waiter sighed and said it would take a while to get drinks because it always takes long. I had to ask for water three times! The second time our waiter told me he knew he had to bring me water. Sheesh! There were many many other rude comments. The ordinary food is not worth the rude service.

Loved the ambiance of this place. It was very clean and modern. The menu was very simple but had everything you would want at a Vietnamese restaurant. For an appetizer we got a shrimp and pork spring roll. The portion size was great size for 2 and the peanut sauce delicious and a great compliment. I also ordered the Taro bubble tea which was delicious and came in a to go cup which made it convenient when we were done our meal. Ordered the phở Thai as our main course. It came with rare beef in a beef broth. The broth came steaming hot which helps cook the rare meat to the perfect tenderness. bean sprouts, lime, basil and jalapeños were also brought out on the side to add to the phở. Overall loved everything about this place.

Finally found a phö place close to my new job! It was actually very good. I ordered the deep fried spring rolls and the phö Tai. Both were excellent. The spring rolls are served with lettuce, mint, and cilantro with the fish dipping sauce. The order came with seven or 8 of them so it was definitely a large portion. The phö Tai came with rare beef as well as brisket as I requested. They do not Put cilantro in their broth it is served on the side. I know some people really don’t like cilantro and know this place does not include it in the broth. I will be returning to this place on a regular basis. I also posted a pic of what our table looked like when the phö and rolls came out.

Nope. Not even worth a lengthy review. No one in our party enjoyed the bland, inauthentic food. As a family(two of four are Vietnamese) we go to many, many Vietnamese restaurants in whichever city we are visiting. This place is on our«Never Return» list.

This is a 2.5 star rating only because the waitress was great and the vegetable phở was delicious. The management at this establishment is TERRIBLE. My boyfriend ordered the Bahn Bi Mi and took one bite and couldn’t eat it. The pork skin was rubberized and when he bit into the sandwich it would snap back at him like a rubber band. The bread was stale and the dish was missing the cilantro the menu stated it had. My boyfriend has NEVER sent back a meal in the six years I have dated him so I knew it was terrible upon looking at the disgust on his face. The owners stated they refused to take it off the bill which we expected because they walked around the restaurant with a condescending demeanor. We did not care about paying for the sandwich, but we’re annoyed with the way the owners handled the situation. I won’t be returning and will not recommend this place to anyone.

My daughter ordered beef pad Thai and Vietnamese iced tea. Her girlfriends usually go there with her after school and use their lunch money there. My daughter wish that she ordered two orders it was so good. When I went and picked up the food the staff was really nice. They had this beautiful happiness and love for the food and service. I understand why this place is busy. When you enjoy your meal, give them a rave review. Word-of-mouth is the best form of advertising and you can make a difference. I plan to brag about this place because they cared enough to make delicious food for my family.

I’ve come here many times for takeout. Their food is ok. I’ve had better Vietnamese, but around this around this area, this is the only one. What’s good here is the bahn mi and iced drinks and bubble tea. The employees are friendly. Everything looks clean. Typical Vietnamese décor.

A truly great meal with entertaining, if not quirky, service. Took my friend here for her birthday. Neither of us eat meat but I was told they have plenty of vegetarian and seafood choices(we do eat fish). We explained that to the waiter who then explained that ALL of their broths… even for the vegan curry phở… were beef or chicken based. Have they never heard of Vegetable Stock!!! We were disappointed that we could not try their phở… but he did steer us to a few dishes that were mind-blowingly good. We have the spring rolls(without pork), the tuna house salad and we shared the whole red snapper. All of these dishes were truly incredible. I’d definitely go back… but I really think they need to start offering a vegetarian phở…

I love Vitnamese food and go to restaurants often in different locations. When I came to Vitnamese restaurant in Red Bank, I have never been more disappointed in food quality as well as the restaurant itsself as well as the staff… I ordered take out beef soup which is the simplest dish on the menu. When I went to pick up my take out, the girl in a front was extremely rude. As I came home it turned out to be the least of my problems!!! I have a strong suspicion that the kitchen is not properly run or cleaned and the food is old and outdated! I hope Chef Ramsey one day will come and make an inspection and call out on their horrible quality food products! !! I wouldn’t be surprised if everything is frozen!!! I had the worst food poisoning of my life!!! From vomiting to shivering to horrible cramps, almost passing out and to a point that I had to go to the hospital and my doctor confirmed that what I am experiencing is food poisoning from old BEEF!!! It took me 6 days just to have a normal day and feeling myself again! I am not sure if I will pursue a law suit but i am considering it!

Consider this more of a warning than a review. The staff was bad enough. I agree with many reviewers that odd, weird, and strange are good adjective that apply to them. That wouldn’t lead me to write a review though. However, what happened after I ate their food was an experience I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I won’t get into the dirty details, but I’m just recovering now. Do yourself a favor and choose another restaurant. Maybe their food sits out too long, or the kitchen is dirty, or another factor that led up to what happened to me after I ate their food. Whatever the reason is, mediocre Vietnamese food isn’t worth it.
