One of the best places. The mock duck was out of this world. Next time we visit I may just get two appetizers for dinner. We also got the tofu appetizer which had a nice flavor but places never seem to press enough water out of it so it never soaks up the marinade. Peanut sauce was good. The creamy drink was off the charts. Banana and coconut milk goodness. I practically had to fight for it. Even when I was talking a photo he was reaching for the drink. The pad Thai was ok. A little bland but I like things spicy. Next time I’m getting the curry. Service was great. It was originally just one other couple but by the time we left the place was starting to fill up. We will DEFINITELY be back

GROSS! I ordered a tom yum soup with chicken but asked to replace it with tofu. I was no informed that it would cost an additional $ 1.50 to the $ 4.50 soup. When I asked them they said that tofu and vegetables cost more than chicken. I later tried it and it tasted like CLEARBROTH! NOFLAVOR. I did not ask for a vegetarian just a substitution. Tom Yum is supposed to be sour and it was far from it. I also ordered the vegetarian fried rice and it also had FLAVORORSALT. I am Filipino-american. I’ve had Thai food from many restaurants, and this was the most unauthentic restaurant. I’M NEVERGOINGBACKAGAIN.

BUYERBEWARE50 dollars for 2 bowls of soup a plate of papaya salad and a beef entrée that made my friend sick. That was all we ordered! I am in no way exaggerating. Repeat after me… HIGHWAYROBBERY I have never been to ANY thai restaurant ANYWHERE that overcharged like this. As I was reading the menu I couldn’t believe the prices. ALLTHEVEGETARIANDISHEDSTARTEDAT $ 18.00 REALLY? Seriously I am so sick of being gouged. From 3 dollar ATM fees, Raising Tolls, Airfare, Airports and yes even 2 bit Thai restaurants in red bank. The beef dish that my friend ordered made her sick before we even left. We should have made a big deal out of it but we just quietly exited. This is probably one of the more authentic Thai restaurants you can find in the area. The place is clean and staff is courteous, but menu items are overpriced and come in small portions.

This place might have the best green curry dish I’ve ever had. They serve it over a burner and the sauce has the right consistency– not too thin and not too thick. The spice was a little bit too much though. I think if they added a little more coconut milk to it then it would’ve been perfect.

The atmosphere here is authentic and rustic which I enjoyed immensely. Our first course was the vegetable spring rolls which were light and crispy. Not oily like some other places I’ve been. The dipping sauce reminded me of traditional duck sauce but with extra seasoning. My wife ordered the chicken fried rice and shared it with my 20mon old. They both throughly enjoyed it. I can’t comment more since I didn’t try it(I’m vegetarian). I had the tofu with cashew and vegetables with a side of jasmine rice. I wish I would have requested it extra spicy but overall it was exactly what you would expect. The tofu was firm and cooked perfectly. The sauce was only very slightly spicy but had a well seasoned and balanced taste. I also ordered an exotic drink that I can’t remember the name of but it had lemon grass, lime, brown sugar, and Sprite. It was absolutely delicious. It was slightly tart from the lime but the brown sugar balanced it out and the lemon grass went perfect with the Sprite. My only complaint was the service and the very friendly waitress was not to blame. Either was the kitchen staff as our food came out quick and hot. The issue is that there was only one waitress with about 7 tables so we felt a bit neglected. Refills and trying to get to go boxes with out check took longer than necessary. But this is a minor issue that probably isn’t the norm. And one thing that hopefully they note if they read this review: I used a $ 100 gift card and got $ 47 in cash back. Why not issue me the cash back as another gift card that I would have gladly accepted? This would guarantee a return visit. Not that I won’t return because the food is fantastic but I was surprised by this. Overall our experience was excellent. I only wish we would have arrived a bit later because at the end of our meal a musician was setting up to play guitar which would have added to the experience. Shame we missed it.

Me and my friends came here for girls night out! It was super cute and fun. The décor is very cool. This weekend is/was their Festival of Lights. It was my first time there and had heard good things about it, so naturally I was excited. I got the pad thai koh hor. I think that’s how it’s spelled it was covered with egg. Awesome! Delicious! I would definitely recommend it and eat it again! Fabulous presentation of all their food and to top it off who doesn’t love a BYOB Overall great experience and will definitely be heading back here with my boyfriend.

I’ve been going here for over 10 years. Great ambiance, too expensive to order out but great to eat in. Food is delicious. I get the red curry with cherry tomatoes and pineapples. The tomatoes burst in your mouth and are awesome!

Came her for lunch with a friend. It was raining and kinda slow for lunch time. We ordered green test that was served on a really cute porcelain tray. I made sure to take a picture and post it. I had the lunch special pad Thai with shrimp and my friend had the chicken. We also had the breaded fried shrimp as an appetizer. Mine was pretty good. The breaded shrimp were huge and came with a sweet chili sauce. I would consider coming back to this place. I will say I was disappointed to hear that they have drunken noodles but on the dinner menu only. She told me I could order it but it was $ 14.50 but a huge bunch of noodles. Unfortunately I wasn’t willing to get a huge portion of it for just lunch. And to take more than half of it to go with a dish like that is pointless if you ask me. Service was friendly and the owner asked if we enjoyed our meal and wrapped our food herself.

My self and 5 other co-workers went in for lunch. For the group we ordered the sampler platter for the group. A+, I would order that for an entrée in itself. I also ordered the duck. Very tasty and tender. The customer service was friendly, prices were great, and the place was clean. I give it a 4 star because the portions shops be larger.

Not bad, not great. I had what I usually get at Thai places, red curry with beef. The curry is delicious, nice and spicy. But some of the meat was tough and chewy, which is a big turn-off. Portion could be a little bigger too, and needs more veggies.

Decided to come here for a pre-birthday dinner with a friend. Siam Garden is by far the best Thai place in the area. A little on the pricier side, but the food and the ambiance warrants the higher prices. Upon walking in, I felt transported to Thailand. The hostess and all of the waitstaff was dressed in traditional Thai garb. The decorations are very ornate and tastefully executed. But the main draw is the food. There is a summer special for small plates that use fresh Thai spices – namely Thai basil and lemongrass. My friend and I decided to try minced beef with Thai basil and Thai spices. It was incredible. Extremely flavorful, especially with the Thai basil. I highly recommend it. For the main meal, I got Penang Curry, and my friend got Pad Thai. My dish was extremely flavorful, and my friend’s was beautifully presented. The Pad Thai was enveloped in an egg outer shell. Was just as delicious to eat as it was pretty to look at. This is high quality food. I wish I could give this 5 stars, but the service is lacking. It took a very .long time for the waiter to appear and take our order. 5 stars for food, and 3 stars for service. For that, 4 stars overall.

Love this place. Great selection of curry dishes, pad Thai that comes in a delightful egg cloud, and cute atmosphere.

I go all the way here. Definitely notches above most other Thais with authentic, fresh and exceptionally well done dishes. Spring rolls seem like great home made versions of what is usually pre made other places. Curries super fresh with fresh herbs and ample heat. Choice of brown rice too which is a nice touch. Exotic ice creams and nice other desserts. Add all that to beautifully done space, very nice professional and friendly staff in cool restored building with other shows and restaurants I highly recommend the place.

The food is quite good. We’ve been twice in the last three months and both times we’ve had really good food. The green curry is really tasty! Based on the food I’d like to give this place 4 stars — but its not all about the food. My biggest complaint here is the service. Both times it took an extremely long time for anyone to even acknowledge us, let alone order the food. But like I said the food is quite good. So we keep going back. But I do think that if we try again next time and the service hasnt improved, it may be out last.

My family and I come here each year with friends of ours. The food is pretty good and I certainly never object to eating here. That being said, it’s not the best Thai food I’ve tried. On our most recent trip, I ordered the vegetarian fried rice. It was decent but lacked flavor. I added chili flakes which helped, but ultimately I wound up pouring some of my mom’s red curry all over it. On that note, the red curry was delicious and probably what I will order next time. The service is unremarkable but they’re nice and always get the job done. I would recommend this place, but it wouldn’t be the first thing I thought of.

I’ve heard nothing but great things about their food — too bad I never got to taste any. Came in with my wife early Sunday evening. The place was busy, but definitely not packed. Great ambiance, they had a live guitar playing. All that stuff was great, and I thought«Man, I bet this food is excellent». We sat down and got our menus. While we belabored the choosing process, we noticed that no one was coming by to serve us. So we waited. And waited. Someone comes by to get a drink order! We get our sodas and think«Ok, she said she’d be right back — so we can order soon!» Turns out that wasn’t the case. No one came by again. We waited 20 minutes, and then we just got up and left. Can’t recommend the food if they won’t serve you any.

If it wasn’t the evening of Black Friday then I may have had a much different experience, but here it goes. Atmosphere: The décor was very nice. It was very busy when I went but it seems like it would be a nice and quiet place on normal nights. The chairs are wooden and have no padding so weren’t especially comfortable. Wouldn’t have been as much of an issue if we weren’t there for over 2 hours. I’ll discuss this in the next paragraph. The woman who buses the tables was cleaning nearby tables during our meal and the chemical smell of the cleaner she was using was very pungent, which was quite unpleasant to experience while eating. Service: I came in a group of 4 and we were seated immediately. It took a very long time for the waitress to take our orders, about 20 minutes. I understand they were very busy but it would have been nice to place our drink order while waiting at the very least. After ordering, it took about 45 minutes for them to bring our tea, and an hour and 20 minutes to receive our meals. The waitress was nice and mildly apologetic for the wait. However, she did not bring me the soup I ordered, and she claimed that it wasn’t ordered, which is not true because everyone else at the table clearly remembered me ordering it. In fact, when I originally ordered it, she asked me if I wanted it with tofu, so I know for a fact that she heard it, so who knows what happened there. Food: Delicious! They also have a great selection of vegan options. For appetizers, we ordered the Poh Pia Pak Taw Hoo(spring rolls) and Satay Ped Je(vegetarian duck skewers). Both appetizers were great, especially the veggie duck, which had the perfect texture and wonderful flavors. For the main course, I ordered the Phad Thai Pak, which definitely passed the test(although it doesn’t quite compete with some of the Pad Thai I’ve tasted in NYC). It also didn’t come with a lime, which is a small detail that I would have preferred it with, but not a big deal. The Tom Kha Taw Hoo soup was very interesting. Much creamier than other ones I’ve tasted. Could have been spicier, but overall I thought they did a great job with it. Someone else ordered the Tom Yum Kung soup, which they said was out of this world. In conclusion, I think this may be the best Thai food in the area. I had an unfortunate experience here tonight that I hope is not the norm. Based off of other reviews, it doesn’t seem that anyone else had this type of experience. We all finished our dishes in much under 20 minutes but were there for over 2 hours. I would try them again on a less busy night to compare.
